Welcome Back to the Galaxy!
I launched twice to the midgate. I rolled off near the Chomp, but saw the Star on the upper left edge of the planet.
Take 2- I missed the Star and rolled off.
Take 3- I rolled and jumped to the Star to get it. This is a Type 1 Star.

Rolling Masterpiece Galaxy - Green Star 1
Welcome Back to the Galaxy!
It should be interesting trying to get a green Star while rolling on the Star Ball. None of the green Stars are in the ball. I hear the Star near the Silver Chomp in the cutscenes. I launch and get the key to open the launcher. I trip the midgate, and hear the Star nearby. I got a 1-up, but rolled off.
Take 2- I rolled off.
Take 3- I see the Star near the rising platform just off the left edge, but rolled off.
Take 4- I missed the Star and rolled off.
Take 5- See Take 4.
Take 6- I rolled into the Star. This is a Type 1 Star.
Green Star Get #50!
Star Get #170, 4930 Star Bits, 2258 Coins, 9 Lives

Rolling Masterpiece Galaxy - Masterpiece Speed Run
Welcome Back to the Galaxy!
I did not like this Star. I think this particular Speed Run suffers from poor level design. We have 2 minutes to go through the level, but, although the clock stops for brief cutscenes, the timer ticks down as we launch, costing us several precious seconds. Considering we launch at least 4 times and each launch takes around 5 seconds, we lose a significant percentage of the time, which we need to defeat the Silver Chomp. I also did not realize that when I got the key, I could just roll through, instead of backing up, costing me several more seconds. My ability to complete this Star was also based on Bob-omb placement. They took out the wooden area with saws and replaced it with a grass planet with Bob-ombs, who move around. The planet is full of holes, so your ability to reach the launch area depends on their placement because they will explode on contact, which could knock you into the holes. On some of my tries, I would defeat the Chomp, but run out of time before being able to roll to the basin. On other tries, I would roll into the basin at the very last second, the Star appeared, and I died. The clock didn't stop! Fortunately, after 35 takes, I figured out what needed to happen and got lucky enough to get the Star with 15 seconds to spare on Take 36. The Silver Chomp will follow you, so it's a good idea to get it close to the edge and repeatedly bump it. The Chomp is very stubborn and will hold on with everything it has, even when you think it should have fallen off. Thankfully, this Star is mine.

Rolling Masterpiece Galaxy - Silver Chomp Grudge Match
Welcome Back to the Galaxy!
We begin one of a few Star-rolling missions. We see the Star right in front of us. Unfortunately, it is trapped in a clear ball. We can't get it out, but we can walk on the ball circus-style. Bill Board gives us the same instructions in Galaxy- we need to tilt the Wiimote to make Mario start walking. The same music from Galaxy plays. These levels are interesting- it is easy to fall off, but we are essentially invincible because the ball will roll over any enemy and squish it. We roll up to the edge of the planet and find a hole that will blast us to the next planet. It is a spherical planet with lots of paintbrushes sticking out of it. The blaster is covered up by a cage that requires a key to open. The key is nearby in the blue area. I got lost after the cutscene reverted back to me. I realized that all I had to do is immediately backpedal. We find our way back and blast off. We find the path forming blocks from Space Junk Galaxy, which makes our lives difficult- we have to immediately veer to the left to a narrow platform without falling off with a worse ability to brake than Luigi. We get a 1-up and get on a rising platform with Goombas. We rise to 6 Flip-switches in a pyramid arrangement. I fell off here.
Take 2- I cleared the switches, but rolled off.
Take 3- I cleared the switches and a clear ruler appeared to guide us to the next planet with the blaster. We land on a wood planet with saws. I got the Comet Medal here and made it to the end of the planet, with another clear ruler to guide us to a checkerboard planet. When we land, a Silver Chomp with red eyes appears from a hole. Silver is a good sign, to we roll around, trying to bump into it and knock it off the level. After a while, we finally knock it off the level. Another clear ruler appears and we guide the ball into the blaster, which breaks the ball and releases the Star. It flies to the top of the flagpole, where we get it.
Star Get #33, 19 Comet Medals, 283 Star Bits, 856 Coins, 6 Lives
Interlude
Young Master Luma got a letter. He grabs Mario's hat and starts spinning above his head. It is a white letter with light blue and salmon stripes. We hear Rosalina's laugh in the background. Whoever wrote the letter is worrying about him, but knows he is safe with us. May the stars shine down on him. There was an item attach- 50 Star Bits. There was no return address and Pink Toad wants to meet this mysterious person soon.
That was a good session- 9 Stars! I have 94 Stars currently.
