Welcome to the Galaxy!
Mario
We land on the planet from "The Flipswitch Chain", but the Tox Boxes and spiked platforms move faster, which means we need more careful timing. Clearing all twelve flipswitches took me three attempts.

Luigi
We land on the planet and start clearing flipswitches. Luigi is faster than Mario, but we still need good timing, as the Tox Boxes are still instant death. This also took me three attempts.

Toy Time Galaxy - The Flipswitch Chain
Welcome to the Galaxy!
Mario
We land near the train. Red Toad says, "All systems are go! Why? 'Cause I say so!" Blue Toad, on a different part of the train, says, "Who's driving this train, anyway?" We let the train take us to the Launch Star. We land on planet made of a screw. There's a hungry Luma that wants 50 Star Bits. He transforms into a planet with Tox Boxes. Under the Tox Boxes' paths are flip switches that we must clear. The full ring has three flipswitches and the partial ring has nine. This took me two attempts. Once all of the flipswitches are cleared, the moving spiked platforms stop moving and the Star appears on the brown cube planet.
Star Get #76, 2 Coins, 3049 Star Bits, 13 Lives
Luigi
We launch to the screwed-shaped planet and feed the hungry Luma. We clear all twelve flipswitches and get the Star.

Beach Bowl Galaxy - Fast Foes on the Cyclone Stone
Welcome to the Galaxy!
Mario
This is our first time seeing a Fast Foes Comet. Fast Foes Comets make enemies, usually Thwomps and Tox Boxes, move faster, making them harder to dodge. They also speed up any moving parts in the galaxy. The music is the same as the Comet Mario/ Luigi music. The rocks in the Cyclone Stone don't move faster. We are careful and reach the Star in crystal in three takes, getting a 1-up along the way.
Star Get #33, 152 Star Bits, 17 Lives
Interlude
We land on the deck, where Mailtoad says, "You have a letter from Luigi!" There is a picture of Luigi on a roof. The letter reads: "Bro! I got a star, but now I can't get back. This picture shows where I am! HELP ME! From Luigi" Mailtoad says, "Hmmm, where is that place? It looks familiar, but then again... Let me give you this picture so you won't forget where Luigi is. To view a picture, press (-) or (+) to access the pause screen, then use the letter icon to check the picture." We will also get a letter from the Toads on the Wii Message Board and note that Luigi isn't by the Garage. We'll find him next.
Luigi
We make it to the Star in only two attempts this time. Be careful with Luigi's sliding, which may leave you in the path of an oncoming Tox Box.
Star Get #33, 1360 Star Bits, 33 Lives
Interlude
We get a letter from Mailtoad that shows Luigi on a roof. He addresses the letter to "Bro!", which means he still thinks Mario is out there. Well, he'll have to deal with Luigi saving him.

Beach Bowl Galaxy - The Secret Undersea Cavern
Welcome to the Galaxy!
Mario
We dive into the water after we land. We grab a shell and open up a chest for a 1-up. Next, we get a shell and face the spiraled rock. Throwing the shell at the rock breaks it, revealing a hidden cavern. It's quiet in here, with only the sound of dropping water. There are bats in this cave that will attack you. There are some crates by a fence in the cavern. Breaking the crates reveals a hole in the fence we can climb through. Past the fence is a stump, which we ground pound for a Launch Star.
We land on the Cyclone Stone, a spiral rock path over a cyclone of water continously flowing into a black hole. We don't want to fall in here. A remix of the underground theme plays. The main enemies we have to worry about are Thwomps and Tox Boxes, both of which will kill us instantly. We have to time going pass the Thwomps and observe the Tox Boxes' patterns, so we know which rock squares are safe because the Tox Box's alcove will protect us. We then must cross the rocks over the water, avoiding rocks that will push us off. Once we make it to the other side, the rock path continues, with some disappearing green tiles with a 1-up as safe zones in case our timing is off. At the end of the path, the Star awaits, trapped in crystal.
Star Get #31, 8 Coins, 1473 Star Bits, 14 Lives
Luigi
We throw a shell at the spiral rock and enter the cavern. We launch to the Cyclone Stone after ground-pounding the stump past the fence. We reach the other side of the Cyclone Stone and get a 1-up, then the Star.
Star Get #31, 7 Coins, 1324 Star Bits, 31 Lives

Shifting Sand Land - Tox Box Switch Star
This mission is unique to the Nintendo DS.
Once again, we need Wario's brute strength. The Star Switch is under a black brick block in the Tox Box Maze and the Star Sphere is near the oasis. A Tox Box crushes us as we leave the maze. We got a Mario cap by the pavilion and go back into the maze. I stepped on the switch and long-jumped through the maze to victory.
Star Get #85, 3 Coins, 3 Lives
The next Star is Pyramid Puzzle.

Stone Cyclone Galaxy - Green Star 1
Welcome Back to the Galaxy!
This was a difficult Star for me to get and it was one of my worst performances, but the worst is still yet to come, and there are only three other Stars after this. I died several times, notably by either falling off the planet or being crushed by a Tox Box. To make an extremely long post short, I died 110 times trying to get this Star. This Star can't be reach by long-jumping or backflipping, so I tried to slow down time and jump off of a Tox Box to get it. I was ultimately successful after many tries. I got a 1-up and walked up the Tox Box when time slowed down. I jumped to get the Star while time was still slowed down. There may be an easier way to do this. This is a Star of all Types.
Green Star Get #119!
Star Get #239, Galaxy Complete!, 9525 Star Bits, 15 Lives

Stone Cyclone Galaxy - Tox Box Speed Run
Welcome Back to the Galaxy!
We have to go through this galaxy again. This time, we have 20 seconds to start and we need to get clocks along the way. We also don't get to slow time down with the switches. I got 2 clocks before being squished by a Tox Box.
Take 2- See Take 1.
Take 3- See Take 1.
Take 4- I got one clock before walking off the level.
Take 5- I got 2 clocks and long jumped to the area that had the 2nd switch, but fell off.
Take 6- I made it to the Star in crystal at the very end of the path. I had 10 seconds left and got a 1-up in the process. That was nerve-wracking, but not too difficult.
Star Get #104, Galaxy Complete!, 2445 Star Bits, 6 Lives

Stone Cyclone Galaxy - Silver Stars on the Cyclone
Welcome Back to the Galaxy!
This is a nearly exact replica of the Cyclone Stone from Beach Bowl Galaxy in Galaxy, under the Fast Foes Comet. We have to get Silver Stars while dodging instant death from Thwomps and Tox Boxes, first seen in Super Mario 64. It also has the same Fast Foe/ Cosmic Race/ Cosmic Clone Comet music. I found the first one near a blue Octoomba. I made a bad jump and fell into the vortex that feeds into a black hole.
Take 2- I took a hit from an Octoomba and fell in.
Take 3- I reached the time-slowing swtich, activated it, and fell in.
Take 4- I hit the switch, but fell in near the first Tox Box.
Take 5- I fell in from a bad jump.
Take 6- I got the first two Stars, the second is at the 2nd corner of the path. I was then crushed by a Tox Box.
Take 7- I got knocked off by the one of the moving blocks over the vortex. I gave up at this point.
Take 8- See Take 6.
Take 9- I got one Star and fell in.
Take 10- I got 2 Stars and fell in.
Take 11- I got 2 Stars and the Comet Medal, which is floating over the vortex, accessible by one of the blocks, and fell in.
Takes 12-14- See Take 10.
Take 15- I got a 100 Star Bit 1-up and 1 Star before I fell in.
Take 16- I got 4 Stars - the 3rd is further up the path near the two Tox Boxes and the 4th is towards the end of the path. I also got the Comet Medal utilizing the switch. I was knocked off the level.
Take 17- I was knocked off the level.
Take 18- I'm annoyed at this point. I only got 2 Stars before falling in. Can't I get a break?
Take 19- See Take 11.
Take 20- I got one Star before being crushed by a Tox Box.
Take 21- I found the last Silver Star I needed by walking around the second part of the path, but was squished by a Tox Box.
Take 22- See Take 10.
Take 23- I fell in and gave up at this point.
Take 24- I got 4 Stars, the Comet Medal, and a 1-up before I was yet again squished by a Tox Box.
Take 25- I got one Star before-take a wild guess- I fell in.
Take 26- See Take 10.
Take 27- I got a 1-up and, finally, all 5 Stars! That took too long. The Star appeared at the end of the path, where it is normally in Beach Bowl.
Star Get #102, 45 Comet Medals, 2229 Star Bits, 1657 Coins, and 10 Lives
This was another horrible performance, but still not the worst. It's coming.
