Welcome to the Galaxy!
Mario
We land on the first planet in the galaxy and see Luigi on the roof of the house. We can take the pipe to reach the roof, but we decide to backflip, wall-jump, and then spin to get on the roof. Luigi says, "Thanks! You came to save me again! I knew I could count on you, Bro! Whaaa? The Power Star? Yeah, I got it right here!" He pulls out the Power Star and says, "Yah! Hurry up and bring that Power Star back!" We get the Star and once again, he appears in our "Star Get" cutscene.

Beach Bowl Galaxy - Fast Foes on the Cyclone Stone
Welcome to the Galaxy!
Mario
This is our first time seeing a Fast Foes Comet. Fast Foes Comets make enemies, usually Thwomps and Tox Boxes, move faster, making them harder to dodge. They also speed up any moving parts in the galaxy. The music is the same as the Comet Mario/ Luigi music. The rocks in the Cyclone Stone don't move faster. We are careful and reach the Star in crystal in three takes, getting a 1-up along the way.
Star Get #33, 152 Star Bits, 17 Lives
Interlude
We land on the deck, where Mailtoad says, "You have a letter from Luigi!" There is a picture of Luigi on a roof. The letter reads: "Bro! I got a star, but now I can't get back. This picture shows where I am! HELP ME! From Luigi" Mailtoad says, "Hmmm, where is that place? It looks familiar, but then again... Let me give you this picture so you won't forget where Luigi is. To view a picture, press (-) or (+) to access the pause screen, then use the letter icon to check the picture." We will also get a letter from the Toads on the Wii Message Board and note that Luigi isn't by the Garage. We'll find him next.
Luigi
We make it to the Star in only two attempts this time. Be careful with Luigi's sliding, which may leave you in the path of an oncoming Tox Box.
Star Get #33, 1360 Star Bits, 33 Lives
Interlude
We get a letter from Mailtoad that shows Luigi on a roof. He addresses the letter to "Bro!", which means he still thinks Mario is out there. Well, he'll have to deal with Luigi saving him.

Ghostly Galaxy - Luigi and the Haunted Mansion
Welcome to the Galaxy!
Mario
We land in a galaxy with an eerie mansion floating in space. A remix of the underground theme plays. Who are we going to call? Luigi, right? Normally we would, but this time, Luigi's trapped in the haunted mansion. We land on a green Starshroom, where Red Toad informs us, "We detected signs of Luigi in this galaxy! I hope he hasn't been eaten by ghosts!" The background is a bunch of ghosts swirling into a bright light. We launch from the Starshroom and land on a planet with leafless trees. There are bats and pumpkin Goombas. There is a sparkling stalagmite that we can spin to release a Rainbow Star. We run towards the mansion on a stone path, running through a Chomp on the way.
Inside the mansion, a slow waltz plays. We spin a switch to turn on the light. We approach the portrait of a Boo on the wall to make it come out of the wall. When we face it, it becomes transparent and we can see a key inside it. We lead it into the light to get the key, which opens the door to the left of the stairs. The door leads to a room with Launch Star Chips and lots of black holes in the windows. We can use the ramps to walk on the walls and ceiling. We collect all of the Star Chips and a black hole becomes a Launch Star making things a little less dangerous. On the ceiling is a circular crack. If we pound it, we fall into the library with 4 Sling Stars. We spin the switch to make a bunch of coins appear. Use the Sling Stars to collect the coins before they disappear. If you get them all, you should have enough for a 50-Coin 1-up. We fall into the room with the Launch Star and launch, landing outside the mansion. We can see Luigi behind a barred window. He calls for Mario and says, "HELP!" We can't help him from out here, so we use the Pull Stars to reach the key to open the door into the mansion.
There is a sign that says: "This is written in Booish. There is a ? Coin in the alcove which makes a Boo Shroom appear. We get it and a message: "You transformed into Boo Mario! Shake to vanish!" The sign, which will now be readable, says: "When in Boo form, press (A) repeatedly to float. Shake to turn transparent and you can go through bars." The Boos now will start following Boo Mario with hearts over them. If we approach Luigi as Boo Mario, he cowers and says, "Eeee! A ghost! Eeeeek!" We got through the grate where the spring is and turn back into Mario using the light. We use the spring to go over the wall to where Luigi is. He says, "Sorry! Bro, you finally came! I got lost with the Toads... It was terrible! But I found a Power Star, so that makes up for it right?" Yes, Luigi, all is forgiven. He pulls out a Power Star, thanking us and suggesting that we go home, but I don't believe he has any idea of where that is now. We get the Star and Luigi somersaults into the cutscene.
Star Get #32, 67 Coins, 1517 Star Bits, 16 Lives
Interlude
We land on the main deck. Rosalina says, "Welcome back... I can see your brother from here. If you go ask him, I bet he'll help you search for Power Stars. And I'm sure he has a lot to tell you. You should go speak to him over there by the Garage. We go over to the Garage and speak with him. He says, "Bro! You're looking for Power Stars, right? Let me help! I think you might have missed in the Good Egg Galaxy. If I find it, I'll write you a letter. Keep your eyes peeled for it!"
You want to talk to Luigi immediately after bringing him back. He will help us find Power Stars that we can't get without him.
Luigi
We get the same information from Red Toad on the green Starshroom. We get the Rainbow Star and run into the mansion and run into the Boo from the painting to get the key. We get all of the Star Chips and the coins from the library, which total 48. We launch and see, of all people, Luigi in the mansion. But we're Luigi, and he's calling for Mario. What's going on here? We get the key, avoiding falling through the gap to the spikes below. We get the Boo Shroom and transform into Boo Luigi and get the same message. If we get the ? Coin near the ceiling, a 1-up will appear from the painting of a 1-up. We use the light behind the grate and spring to Luigi, who says, "Sorry. Oh my... Are you me? Well, I guess there's enough people in the universe for one person to look like me... Anyway, I found a Power Star. Let's take it back!" As in the Mario mission, he somersaults into our cutscene. We have now begun the Luigi paradox. There are two Luigis.
Star Get #32, 55 Coins, 1349 Star Bits, 33 Lives

We land on the deck. Rosalina says, "Welcome back... I can see your twin from here. If you ask him, I bet he'll help you search for Power Stars. And I'm sure he has a lot to tell you. You should go speak to him over there by the Garage." I guess the Luigi paradox doesn't bother Rosalina in the slightest. We go up to the other Luigi, who is slightly taller and wears a slightly darker shade of green. He says, "Hey, me! You're looking for Power Stars, right? I think you missed one in the Good Egg Galaxy. I'll write you a letter if I find it. Check your mail!" Well, our doppelganger is going to help us look for Stars. That should be helpful and interesting.

Beach Bowl Galaxy - The Secret Undersea Cavern
Welcome to the Galaxy!
Mario
We dive into the water after we land. We grab a shell and open up a chest for a 1-up. Next, we get a shell and face the spiraled rock. Throwing the shell at the rock breaks it, revealing a hidden cavern. It's quiet in here, with only the sound of dropping water. There are bats in this cave that will attack you. There are some crates by a fence in the cavern. Breaking the crates reveals a hole in the fence we can climb through. Past the fence is a stump, which we ground pound for a Launch Star.
We land on the Cyclone Stone, a spiral rock path over a cyclone of water continously flowing into a black hole. We don't want to fall in here. A remix of the underground theme plays. The main enemies we have to worry about are Thwomps and Tox Boxes, both of which will kill us instantly. We have to time going pass the Thwomps and observe the Tox Boxes' patterns, so we know which rock squares are safe because the Tox Box's alcove will protect us. We then must cross the rocks over the water, avoiding rocks that will push us off. Once we make it to the other side, the rock path continues, with some disappearing green tiles with a 1-up as safe zones in case our timing is off. At the end of the path, the Star awaits, trapped in crystal.
Star Get #31, 8 Coins, 1473 Star Bits, 14 Lives

We throw a shell at the spiral rock and enter the cavern. We launch to the Cyclone Stone after ground-pounding the stump past the fence. We reach the other side of the Cyclone Stone and get a 1-up, then the Star.

Beach Bowl Galaxy - Wall Jumping up Waterfalls
Welcome to the Galaxy!
Mario
It's time to get the hidden Star! We dive underwater and grab a shell. We go to the other side of the waterfall (the side we didn't land on) and surface. There is a lone chest here, which we open. It contains a Launch Star and we launch to another planet. We land on a planet with lots of waterfalls, where Super Mario 3 music plays. There's nothing underwater here. I fell off the planet.
Take 2- There is a ? Coin that floats out of reach. If we follow the path, we soon find Cataquacks, first seen in Super Mario Sunshine. We lead one back to the ? Coin, and let it boost us to the ? Coin, which makes an Ice Flower appear. We get it and turn a crystal blue all over. We get a message: "You transformed into Ice Mario! Shake the Wiimote to skate! You can walk on water, too!" This new power-up allows us to temporarily freeze water and even lava. We can't fall into water and lava. However, we can't throw ice balls. We skate on the water and go over to the waterfalls. We can wall-jump up the waterfalls with this power, but we must move quickly. We ran out of power at the Sling Star and kill a Purple Piranha for another Ice Flower. We sling to the top where the Star floats high above a small platform in a pool of water. Despite the ice theme of the area, the water isn't freezing. We use our ice power to create a path to area with a Cataquack, then lead it to the Star so it can boost us up. There are a couple of spiky icebergs floating in the water. They will break up the ice path we create, so time your crossing carefully. The icebergs won't hurt you, but they can make the Cataquack fall in the water, which will kill it. It will reappear on the land where you found it. Just be patient.
Star Get #30, 2 Coins, 1445 Star Bits, 12 Lives

Beach Bowl Galaxy - Passing the Swim Test
Welcome to the Galaxy!
Mario
We talk to the Coach, who says, "You here to take the swimmin' school's final swim test?" If we answer yes, he tells us, "In this test, you must collect shells in the ocean! If you bring me the gold shell, it's an automatic A for you!" Which means we really want that gold shell.
We dive underwater to find penguins swimming around in a circle. The lead penguin has the gold shell. (You must talk to the Coach first before the gold shell will appear.) We must swim to the lead penguin and spin the gold shell to take it away. We then take the gold shell to the Coach, who says, "Amazing! I didn't think you'd actually be able to bring it back! Well then, here's a big Gold Shell for you!" He pulls out a Star, then says, "Nice job on the test! But... are you even one of my students?" We grab the Star and go, before he changes his mind.
Star Get #29, 1 Coin, 1383 Star Bits, 12 Lives
Luigi
We talk to the Coach to make the shell appear. We dive and grab the shell. The penguin who had the shell says, "Awww... I got beat!" We give the shell to the Coach and get our Star.

Beach Bowl Galaxy - Sunken Treasure
Welcome to the Galaxy!
Mario
We land on a bowl-shaped beach planet, where tropical music plays. There are lots of penguins here. We dive underwater and the music changes slgihtly. There are Launch Star Chips to collect: near the waterfall, over a rock, in a clamshell, in front of an eel, and in a crate. We launch to the top of the planet where there are Piranha Plants and Wigglers. The ? Coin makes musical notes that will give a 1-up if collected. We walk around the top of the planet and pound a switch to make a bridge to the 1-up and a higher level on the planet. We backflip and spin to the top of the planet, where we find the Star in crystal. There is also another switch so we can walk-jump up to the top of the planet.
Star Get #28, 4 Coins, 1375 Star Bits, 12 Lives
Interlude
We get a message: "Rosalina's library has opened! Now you can read the story book!" There is a hungry Luma.
Luigi
Once again, we land on the beach and dive for Star Chips. We launch to the top area of the planet. We got a 1-up from the musical notes. Unfortunately, we died from an Urchin.
Take 2- We get a 1-up from the musical notes and wall-jump to the Star, breaking the crystal.
Star Get #28, 4 Coins, 1236 Star Bits, 29 Lives
