Welcome to the Galaxy!
Mario
We land in the galaxy to find the cannon taken over by a Monty Mole in a water-blasting turret. The Toad Bridgade is hiding behind umbrellas. Red Toad says, "That Undergrunt Gunner is keeping us from exploring the area!" To reach him, we must backflip onto the turret and pound it. After the second hit, we have to deal with rapid fire from the turret. The third hit will make it explode. This will give us access to the cannon. The gate to the pool is open and there are three unlit torches this time. On my first playthrough, I did not realize that there were three torches, and only lit two with the Fire Flower from the planet with the pink Octoombas. I knew something was supposed to happen (lighting all three gives us an Ice Flower so we can progress), so I hopped in the cannon once more and aimed at the water blasters I saw in the opening cutscenes. I missed a lot, but eventually aimed correctly and landed in front of a water blaster that took me to the next part of the level. I do not recommend this method, but it can be done. Once we get the Ice Flower, we skate over the pool to the poles with water sprayers that we can freeze. We use these to reach more poles to a grassy area. We follow the grass around to a blue star disc floating in midair. Its ? Coin makes 5 Sling Stars. They will take us to the edge of the pool, high on the rock formations. We go to the right until we find the water blaster.
The water bubble will take us to the next planet, which has bouncing Cheep-Cheep. (The water there is too shallow for them). There are stumps on the planet we must pound to activate the water blaster, which takes us to a large spherical planet made of glass and filled with water. There are giant tennis balls rolling around inside, a watermelon at the center, and a laser firing laser rings over the planet's surface. We see a dancing Blue Toad, who says, "There's a Power Star hidden inside that watermelon! Use ground pounds to make those tennis balls hit that watermelon to get that Power Star." Now that we know what to do, we line ourselves with the path of the tennis balls and pound them when they're underfoot. We pound all three in, the watermelon expanding with each hit. Once the third one hits, the watermelon expands to the point that the glass breaks and the Star appears from the fruit. The laser is still firing, so get the Star quickly.

We land in the galaxy and pound the turret to open the cannon. We get the Rainbow Star and the Fire Flower and return to the beach to light the three torches for the Ice Flower. We climb the water sprayers and backflip and spin to the water blasters. We blastoff twice, stopping on the planet with the Cheep-Cheep to pound the stumps. We pound the tennis balls into the watermelon for the Star.

Deep Dark Galaxy - The Underground Ghost Ship
Welcome to the Galaxy!
Mario
We land in the galaxy and get the 1-up on the Starshroom. We hop into the cannon and decide to aim for the other planet in the sky. We land on a Gate-like planet with a screw. We remove the screw and the planet starts shrinking, revealing coins circling the planet. We collect as many as we can before the planet disappears entirely. We fall to the planet with the Fire Flower and pink Octoombas. We get the Fire Flower and sling back to the beach. We need to light the torches, but I decide to chase a blue crab around, trying to hit it with a fireball. We are successful and get a 1-up. We hop back in the cannon, get the Rainbow Star, and then get the Fire Flower to light the torches. The gate drops and we dive in the pool, this time following the Star Bit arrow. We spin the switches to remove the gates. We dodge a jellyfish and surface. There is a large ship floating in another pool of water. There are Boos floating around and a ledge with a Life Shroom on it. Under the ship are coins and a ? Coin that makes two large rings of Star Bits.
We board the ship and Kamella appears. It's a similar battle to last time. Wait for her to use green magic to give you a shell and hit her with it. After the second hit, she flies over to the crow's nest and summons two Magikoopas. We have to climb up the pole at the stern to reach the crow's nest where the battle continues. Four hits and she's finished. She screams, explodes, and her wand cracks, freeing the Star.

We land in the galaxy, hop in the cannon, get the Rainbow Star, and the Fire Flower. We light the torches and dive to the Star Bit arrow and the spin the switches to open the gates. Deep Dark Galaxy - Boo in a Box
Welcome to the Galaxy!
Mario
We land on a beach where the Ghostly Galaxy music plays. There is a Starshroom with a 1-up on top on the beach. In the center of the beach is a cannon. We hop in and aim at the Rainbow Star. We get it and land on a spherical plant crawling with pink Octoombas, run around and take them out, getting lots of Star Bits. Once the power runs out, we grab the Fire Flower and sling back down to the beach, landing on a palm tree and jumping down.
At one end of the beach is a gate flanked by two torches we must light. You may want to long-jump so you can light the torches before the power runs out. You can always use the cannon to go back to that planet to get another Fire Flower should you run out of power. Once we light the torches, the gate drops, giving us access to a pool in the back. The music changes. We dive into the pool, seeing Bloopers as we dive. There is a shelf with a Star Bit arrow, but we ignore is and dive to the bottom. We grab a shell and see a split shipwreck. We take the shell to the half that is surrounded by bombs. We fire the shell at the shipwreck and the bombs and wreck explode. This reveals a Launch Star. We must use the Launch Star before the bombs regenerate.
The Launch Star takes us out from under the planet into a purple box in space. The music played in Ghostly Galaxy's mansion plays here. There are a Boo and an Urchin inside. The Star is inside the Boo. We have no way to get the Star at this point, so we approach the wall with the pegs and use them to reach and spin the gravity arrow. The gravity switches and the Urchin and Boo follow. The Urchin will follow us around, trying to hit us. We use the spring to reach the gravity arrow and spin it again. Then, we use the water blaster to reach the gravity arrow and spin it. We land on the side of the box with a crystal. We break it to let in a beam of light and lead the Boo into it. The Boo explodes and the Star flies to the side of the cube we started on. We use the water blaster to shoot a water bubble to take us near the gravity arrow and spin it once more. We get the Star.

We land in the galaxy and talk to the Toad Brigade. Red Toad says, "We're currently on vaca... er... I mean, galactic survey duty! Please be patient with us." Green Toad says, "Cannon! Get all you can in the cannon!" We use the cannon, get the Rainbow Star, and take out the pink Octoombas. We get the Fire Flower and sling back to the beach. We light the torches and dive to the bottom of the pool. After getting the shell, we aim it at the half of the shipwreck surrounded by bombs. We launch into the box. We keep flipping around the box with the gravity arrows, until we break the crystal and let the light shine in. We lure the Boo into the light and flip to reach the Star. This took three tries because the Urchin kept killing me.

Sand Spiral Galaxy - Choosing a Favorite Snack
Welcome to the Galaxy!
Mario
We feed a hungry Luma 1000 Star Bits to access this galaxy. We land in the galaxy on half of an airship, where a remix of the underground theme plays. There is a Magikoopa at the bow, as well as the Sling Star. After firing off some magic, the Magikoopa will disappear and reappear at the entrance to a cave. The Sling Star will take us there. This is what I call the "Weapon of Choice" Star: you can go with this (Bee Shroom) or you can go with that (Boo Shroom). The nearby Toads say each one is tasty. I chose the Boo Shroom because I like the unlimited fly time. (There are honeycombs on the walls if you choose to use the Bee Suit.) We float over instant death quicksand and dodge the lights, but hit a Magikoopa and fell in.
Take 2- I chose the Boo Shroom again. At the end of the cave is a Sling Star that takes us out of the cave to a spinning spiral path circling the large moon. The Star is on the moon. There are space bombs along the path and we can take them out using the Rainbow Stars on the path. I avoid getting the Rainbow Stars because they allow us to move so fast, which I can't handle on such a narrow path (on my first playthrough, there was lots of "falling with style"). Once we reached the brown portion of the path, we long-jumped to the moon, which has it's own gravity, and got the Star.

Once again we feed the hungry Luma 1000 Star Bits and land in the galaxy. We sling down to the entrance to the cave and get the Boo Shroom. We get the 1-up in the cave and sling out. We walk along the spiral path, avoiding Rainbow Stars, but letting one run out when we get one. We long-jump to the moon and get the Star.

Dusty Dune Galaxy - Blasting through the Sand
Welcome to the Galaxy!
Mario
We land in the galaxy and kill off all the Pokeys for the Launch Star. We land on a small sand disk as in "Treasure of the Pyramid". We jump to get out of the sand. We walk over to the ring planet with the boulders on it. We go under one of the nearby planets for a Life Shroom. Under the planet in the middle of the ring is a Rainbow Star.
The Sling Star on the other side takes us to a sand tube. We find a Dry Bones on the planet, then sling to the sand tube. Along the sand tube are Pull Star Chips. We'll need to go over the sand tube at least twice (it's a loop) to get them all. The last one we should get is in a treasure chest. There are Koopas on the rocks where we landed, so we can grab their shells to open the chest. The Pull Stars will take us to a nearby planet, where we land on a rock in quicksand with green and orange arrows. This time I took the path with the green arrow, which leads to a green pipe to a secret area. The ? Coin makes music notes that play the underground theme. Collecting them all will give you 3 1-ups.
We take another green pipe to another planet. We are on the blue side of the planet, but can easily flip to the other side using the holes in the platforms above the quicksand. We flip to the other side, which is yellow, so we can go to the other hole on the planet. We fell in the quicksand.
Take 2- We walk on the yellow side to reach the hole to a different part of the blue side we couldn't reach before. There are tornados and Dry Bones here. At the end of the path are three platforms, the tallest of which has a switch. Pounding it makes the platforms fall into the ground and a timer start ticking. (There is a time limit, but the exact time is not shown.) We have to reach a similar sand patch on the yellow side before the time runs out. Unfortunately, I tried using a tornado to move faster and fell in the quicksand.
Take 3- I reached the platforms on the yellow side, which allow us to reach the Star high above the sand.

This mission also took me three takes with Luigi. We kill the Pokeys, launch, get the Life Shroom and Rainbow Star and sling twice to the sand tube. We get the Pull Star Chips and take the path of the orange arrow on the next planet, which just leads us to the Launch Star to the planet where we flip to the other side. I fell in the quicksand twice. I pounded the switch and made it in time to reach the Star on the yellow side.

Gusty Garden Galaxy - The Golden Chomp
Welcome to the Galaxy!
Mario
It's now time to look into that Gold Chomp we saw earlier. This time, we need to collect all ? Coins mid-flight with the Floaty Fluff (the Floaty Fluff can touch the ? Coins to collect them). Each time we collect one, another one appears until we collect all of them. If we miss one, we should start over, but fortunately we don't. Once we do, a Rainbow Star will appear near where the Launch Star to the boulder planet will appear. Once we climb the vine, we must stop shaking the Wiimote and drop into the Launch Star, getting the Rainbow Star in the process. After landing, we must immediately run into the Gold Chomp before the power runs out. Running into the Gold Chomp will make it crack and the Star will appear.
Star Get #48, 2 Coins, 1841 Star Bits, 11 Lives

We use the Floaty Fluff to get all of the ? Coins. We get the Rainbow Star and launch. We run into the Gold Chomp and crack it, making the Star appear.

Ghostly Galaxy - Beware of Bouldergeist
Welcome to the Galaxy!
Mario
We land on a green Starshroom. Red Toad informs us, "Luigi was kidnapped by the monster that lives here." We launch, get the Rainbow Star, and run into the mansion. We find Pink Toad in a crate, telling us, "Shake to spin Bomb Boss! When they hit something, they go BOOM!" Bomb Boos are black Boos that will follow us around regardless, with their tongues hanging out. Spin near them to grab their tongues and swing them over your head. After a while, they will flash red and explode. Before they explode, run towards something you want to blow up and it will swing around and hit it. We can use them to destroy Bowser statues, including one in front of the fireplace. This will reveal a Launch Star. We launch twice to an area with Sling Pods, and I fell off.
Take 2- We use the Sling Pods to reach a Sling Star, then a Launch Star. We use the Bomb Boos to destroy another Bowser statue for a 1-up. We then use the Sling Pods to get Pull Star Chips, not necessarily flinging Mario to get them. We use the Pull Stars to go through a hollow planet to a Launch Star. We land on a similar hollow planet with a springy purple and red checkered ball. We get a 1-up, then bounce to the Launch Star. We land near the battle arena and a Luma Shop and walk to it. In the center of the arena, a monster forms from rocks. This is Bouldergeist. He groans, which summons three kinds of rocks, yellow, gray, and black. Gray rocks are used to attack Mario, so keep moving. Yellow rocks produce coins when they hit the ground. Black rocks make Bomb Boos, so grab them by the tongue and swing them into Bouldergeist. He will periodically make rock spikes appear from the ground, so stay away. You can spin them to destroy them. After Bouldergeist takes enough hits, his rocky shell disappears, revealing that he is a large, black specter with a long tongue. He floats around, making more Bomb Boos from the ground. Use one to hit it and it will wail, then the rocky shell will reform, this time with a pair of hands. The hands will try to punch you or smash you into the ground, but staying towards the edge of the arena and away from the hands' shadows will keep you safe. The hands will also destroy some of the rock spikes, but will also take some Bomb Boo hits if the Boom Boos run into them before the rest of Bouldergeist. A few hits will destroy the hands, but your main objective is to hit Bouldergeist's body. We destroyed the body and hit the specter, ending the battle, with one bar of health left. It wails, swells, and explodes, and the Star appears from the center of the arena.

We land on the green Starshroom, where Red Toad tells us the same thing. In the second take, we reached the battle arena. The battle is the same and we beat Bouldergeist and get the Star.

Ghostly Galaxy - Matter Splatter Mansion
Welcome to the Galaxy!
Mario
We launch off the Starshroom and get the Rainbow Star from the stalagmite. There is another stalagmite that is sparkling. We break it to reveal a Launch Star. We launch facing the camera, with the Rainbow Star, which looks good. We land in a fragmented house in green space. The Space Fantasy music plays. We can only see parts of the floor, and parts we can't see don't exist. When we step on a portion of the floor, it appears to move, making some parts visible and others invisible. We get a key, but the floor fell away.
Take 2- We get the key and ? Coin, which moves the next section of floor beyond the first door. We fell off. This is a tricky area. Proceed with caution.
Take 3- We get both the key and ? Coin and slowly proceed. We see a piano and get another key. The "spotlight" on the floor slowly moves upward and we hear the jingle of the Star. The next key opens two doors, one of which has a 1-up. The other door hides a key to the last door, which contains the Star. Get it quickly before the floor disappears from underneath your feet.

Star Get #35, 5 Coins, 1550 Star Bits, 16 Lives
Luigi
We launch from the Starshroom, get the Rainbow Star, and launch from the stalagmite. We got the key and fell.
Take 2- We got the key and the ? Coin, as well as the key near the piano. We get a 1-up and the key to the door with the Star.
Star Get #35, 1 Coin, 1389 Star Bits, 24 Lives

Ghostly Galaxy - Luigi and the Haunted Mansion
Welcome to the Galaxy!
Mario
We land in a galaxy with an eerie mansion floating in space. A remix of the underground theme plays. Who are we going to call? Luigi, right? Normally we would, but this time, Luigi's trapped in the haunted mansion. We land on a green Starshroom, where Red Toad informs us, "We detected signs of Luigi in this galaxy! I hope he hasn't been eaten by ghosts!" The background is a bunch of ghosts swirling into a bright light. We launch from the Starshroom and land on a planet with leafless trees. There are bats and pumpkin Goombas. There is a sparkling stalagmite that we can spin to release a Rainbow Star. We run towards the mansion on a stone path, running through a Chomp on the way.
Inside the mansion, a slow waltz plays. We spin a switch to turn on the light. We approach the portrait of a Boo on the wall to make it come out of the wall. When we face it, it becomes transparent and we can see a key inside it. We lead it into the light to get the key, which opens the door to the left of the stairs. The door leads to a room with Launch Star Chips and lots of black holes in the windows. We can use the ramps to walk on the walls and ceiling. We collect all of the Star Chips and a black hole becomes a Launch Star making things a little less dangerous. On the ceiling is a circular crack. If we pound it, we fall into the library with 4 Sling Stars. We spin the switch to make a bunch of coins appear. Use the Sling Stars to collect the coins before they disappear. If you get them all, you should have enough for a 50-Coin 1-up. We fall into the room with the Launch Star and launch, landing outside the mansion. We can see Luigi behind a barred window. He calls for Mario and says, "HELP!" We can't help him from out here, so we use the Pull Stars to reach the key to open the door into the mansion.
There is a sign that says: "This is written in Booish. There is a ? Coin in the alcove which makes a Boo Shroom appear. We get it and a message: "You transformed into Boo Mario! Shake to vanish!" The sign, which will now be readable, says: "When in Boo form, press (A) repeatedly to float. Shake to turn transparent and you can go through bars." The Boos now will start following Boo Mario with hearts over them. If we approach Luigi as Boo Mario, he cowers and says, "Eeee! A ghost! Eeeeek!" We got through the grate where the spring is and turn back into Mario using the light. We use the spring to go over the wall to where Luigi is. He says, "Sorry! Bro, you finally came! I got lost with the Toads... It was terrible! But I found a Power Star, so that makes up for it right?" Yes, Luigi, all is forgiven. He pulls out a Power Star, thanking us and suggesting that we go home, but I don't believe he has any idea of where that is now. We get the Star and Luigi somersaults into the cutscene.
Star Get #32, 67 Coins, 1517 Star Bits, 16 Lives
Interlude
We land on the main deck. Rosalina says, "Welcome back... I can see your brother from here. If you go ask him, I bet he'll help you search for Power Stars. And I'm sure he has a lot to tell you. You should go speak to him over there by the Garage. We go over to the Garage and speak with him. He says, "Bro! You're looking for Power Stars, right? Let me help! I think you might have missed in the Good Egg Galaxy. If I find it, I'll write you a letter. Keep your eyes peeled for it!"
You want to talk to Luigi immediately after bringing him back. He will help us find Power Stars that we can't get without him.
Luigi
We get the same information from Red Toad on the green Starshroom. We get the Rainbow Star and run into the mansion and run into the Boo from the painting to get the key. We get all of the Star Chips and the coins from the library, which total 48. We launch and see, of all people, Luigi in the mansion. But we're Luigi, and he's calling for Mario. What's going on here? We get the key, avoiding falling through the gap to the spikes below. We get the Boo Shroom and transform into Boo Luigi and get the same message. If we get the ? Coin near the ceiling, a 1-up will appear from the painting of a 1-up. We use the light behind the grate and spring to Luigi, who says, "Sorry. Oh my... Are you me? Well, I guess there's enough people in the universe for one person to look like me... Anyway, I found a Power Star. Let's take it back!" As in the Mario mission, he somersaults into our cutscene. We have now begun the Luigi paradox. There are two Luigis.
Star Get #32, 55 Coins, 1349 Star Bits, 33 Lives

We land on the deck. Rosalina says, "Welcome back... I can see your twin from here. If you ask him, I bet he'll help you search for Power Stars. And I'm sure he has a lot to tell you. You should go speak to him over there by the Garage." I guess the Luigi paradox doesn't bother Rosalina in the slightest. We go up to the other Luigi, who is slightly taller and wears a slightly darker shade of green. He says, "Hey, me! You're looking for Power Stars, right? I think you missed one in the Good Egg Galaxy. I'll write you a letter if I find it. Check your mail!" Well, our doppelganger is going to help us look for Stars. That should be helpful and interesting.

Honeyhive Galaxy - Trouble on the Tower
Welcome to the Galaxy!
Mario
I got the 1-up on the ledge and talk to the Bee near the start. A rock with the ground pound symbol on it. He says, "That rock just fell from the sky! It was... scary." We go up the slope partway, and find another rock with a ground pound symbol. We pound it and a vine appears. The nearby bee says, "The Sproutle is back! Yay!" We use the vine to go to the left side of the planet, up the hill from the start. We find a Rainbow Star in the green pipe by the tree. The path to the castle is blocked by a honeycomb grate. We sling up to a red switch guarded by Wiggler. Pounding the switch flips Wiggler over (any ground pound will do that) and reveal the path we need to take. We stomp Wiggler for lots of Star Bits.
The path goes to the back on the left side of the planet. We find a wooden switch to reveal steps to a high part of the planet. We wall-jump up to there and find two wooden walls in the water. It doesn't look like there's anything up here, until you notice the shadow of a Launch Star in the water. We wall-jump up the walls and launch. We land on a planet with Piranha Plants and jump down to a nearby planet with Wigglers. We sling into a ? Coin which gives us a Rainbow Star. We jump down the hole at the top of the planet. We land on a planet with a windmill. We pound the switch on the other side of the windmill, which starts the windmill. We have to dodge Mandibugs, which look like ladybugs with clamping jaws. They will try to attack us if we cross their path, so get out of the way quickly. We can also defeat them with a ground pound. Back near the windmill, we drop down to a checkered platform with a Life Shroom, although we really don't need the extra health. We ride the platforms on the windmill to the top, where there are two Mandibugs, stacked on top of each other. The one on top is much smaller. Battle music starts playing. We pound the top one and the large one turns red. If we stand on it, it will panic for a while before it flips us off. We pound the bigger one and it poofs into the Star.
Star Get #6, 21 Coins, 930 Star Bits, 15 Lives
Luigi
We got the 1-up on the ledge and free the vine to reach the other side of the planet. We sling up and activate two switches, then launch. We sling and get the Rainbow Star from the ? Coin. We jump down the hole and accidentally ran off the windmill area. There is a Sling Star near the Wiggler that will take us back up there. We activate two more switches to start the Windmill and pound the stacked Mandibugs.
Star Get #6, 9 Coins, 597 Star Bits, 41 Lives

Yoshi Star Galaxy - Spiny Rainbow Romp
Welcome Back to the Galaxy!
It's time for another Romp! I attempted this one much earlier, but gave up. We have to kill 30 Spinies in 60 seconds. Once again, we get Rainbow Stars, because there aren't too many ways we can kill Spinies. I ran out of time because I got stuck in the mud.
Take 2- I got most of them, but I ran out of time.
Take 3- I died from too many hits.
Take 4- I got stuck in the mud.
Takes 5-8- I missed 2 of them. They must be hiding from me! (They are- some are in corners or near the edge of the planet.) I gave up at this point and returned much later.
Takes 9-10- I missed 1.
Take 11- I got all 30 Spinies! The ways to make this easier are to make sure your Rainbow Star never runs out, run whenever possible (if you jump, you have to start over building up speed, but water will slow you down tremendously), and stay out of the mud. I took out the Spinies at the start, moved to the water area, then the hill, then toward the mud area. I had little time to spare, but afterward, I got a 1-up on a ledge.
Star Get #83, Galaxy Complete!, 547 Star Bits, 7 Lives
A Comet appeared in Flipsville. I got more lives in Sky Station and a Comet appeared in the Clockwork Ruins.

Welcome Back to the Galaxy!
The Romps are a new type of Comet mission. All you have to do is defeat all 30 enemies on the planet in a given time limit. It's like what my physics teacher once said- it's simple, but not easy. We get 50 seconds to defeat 30 Octoombas- mostly blue ones, but there are a few pink ones. Good news- you get a few Rainbow stars (they don't regenerate). Bad news- you don't land on the planet, so you have to waste time running up the Starshroom to the Launch Star, and time ticks down while you launch. This takes place on the arena on which you battled Prince Pikante, but the fences are gone. The best way to do this is to skate and recharge your Rainbow Star strategically- do not let it run out. Also try to make the last ones you have to take out are not on the outer edge. I missed one on my first go and ran out of time.
Take 2- I fell off. At this point, I hadn't noticed that there was a counter on the screen in the corner, so I don't know how many I got.
Takes 3-4- See Take 2.
Take 5- See Take 1.
Take 6- I got them all! Once you do that, the timer stops. Unfortunately, I fell off. Noooooooo! See warning about outer edge. I postponed this until I got more lives because I had 1 life left.
Take 7- See Take 2. I returned immediately after getting more lives.
Take 8- I got all 30 of them and didn't fall off!

Sky Station Galaxy- Storming the Sky Fleet
Detecting anomaly. Void Marios. -Transmission 14
Welcome back to the galaxy!
We start back on the same planet as last time. There are small Chomps rolling on predetermined paths. The sling plants can be used to defeat them. There is pirate-themed music, which is different from the 1st Star. Mario was hit several times by Chomps. On the other side of the planet, a Luma is trapped in a cage and we need to find the key. The 2nd Chomp to the left of the Luma is the one with the key. Hitting the treasure chests with the plants reveals a 1-up Shroom, and a Rainbow Star. I unfortunately let the power run out while talking to the Luma, thinking I could make the music last forever.
The Luma launches us to a cylinder planet. There is a Rainbow Star, but it runs out before I find the gap in the floor. I reach the midgate get a 1up Shroom. If Mario falls off the platform, the planet will spin around until Mario falls onto another platform. I am hit by an Amp. I got 3 1-ups from the bonus area with Blue Octoombas. On the other side of the planet, if Mario keeps riding the platform around, he can get a 1-up Shroom by crouching.
Mario launches to another midgate and deals with Flipswitches. After getting a 100 Star Bit 1-up, Banzai Bills attack twice. A sign says to beware Cosmic Clones and run if they come after you. They start appearing once you touch the next Flipswitch with a coin. Once all of the Flipswitches are cleared, the Cosmic Clones poof into Star Bits.
We are launched to the midgate. I spun into a sling plant, and it knocked me off the planet into the black hole. Dang.
Take 2- The star is at the end of planet, but is trapped in a locked cage. Following the nearby path in front of a Banzai blaster, we find 2 Piranha Plants and a large, spiky, black Piranha. We use a sling plant to kill it and release the key, which releases the Star. Mario is hit by a Banzai Bill trying to return to get the Star. We get the Star.
