Welcome to the Galaxy!
Mario
It's now time to look into that Gold Chomp we saw earlier. This time, we need to collect all ? Coins mid-flight with the Floaty Fluff (the Floaty Fluff can touch the ? Coins to collect them). Each time we collect one, another one appears until we collect all of them. If we miss one, we should start over, but fortunately we don't. Once we do, a Rainbow Star will appear near where the Launch Star to the boulder planet will appear. Once we climb the vine, we must stop shaking the Wiimote and drop into the Launch Star, getting the Rainbow Star in the process. After landing, we must immediately run into the Gold Chomp before the power runs out. Running into the Gold Chomp will make it crack and the Star will appear.

Gusty Garden Galaxy - Gusty Garden's Gravity Scramble
Welcome to the Galaxy!
Mario
We land in the galaxy and use Floaty Fluff to reach the next few planets. We did not get all of the ? Coins, so we press forward on to the planet with the boulder using a vine that leads us to the Launch Star. While running up the planet, if we listen closely, we can hear the Star. Near the Launch Star at the top of the planet, we see a gold Chomp. You know what that means. Unfortunately, we can't do anything about it right now, so we'll leave it alone.
We launch and land on a saucer with poles where the Space Fantasy music plays. There is a series of these saucers and each of them has Launch Star Chips. We collect them and launch to the next area. A remix of the Underground theme plays. This area has an interesting gravity scheme: only areas that are yellow with a red exclamation point have gravity. We can only safely stand on these areas. We go over the planet, spinning gravity arrow switches to reach other planets quickly. After the first switch, we fall to a rotating block, where each face will slowly lose and gain gravity. We have to get to a safe area before we fall off this planet. We spin a gravity arrow to get to another planet. We backflip for a Life Shroom. We spin the arrow again and reach an area with Goombas and again to reach another area. We have to dodge cannon balls by running in between them, and reach the Star in crystal.
Star Get #47, 32 Coins, 1795 Star Bits, 11 Lives
Luigi
We use the Floaty Fluff and launch three times to the gravity scramble. We flip the gravity arrows, getting a 1-up on the way. We dodge the cannon fire to reach the Star in crystal.

Gusty Garden Galaxy - The Dirty Tricks of Major Burrows
Welcome to the Galaxy!
Mario
I died a few times trying to get the ? Coins, but we don't need them for this mission. I realized this on Take 8. We must use the Floaty Fluff to cross the gaps in between planets. Getting the ? Coins makes Star Bits. Once we reach the last planet reached by the Floaty Fluff, we must kill all the Monty Moles crawling over the long, squiggly planet to make the Launch Star appear. We fly through a ring planet with Pull Stars, but we miss the Pull Stars. We land on an apple planet and pound a stump to make a large caterpillar appear from the apple and go into the next planet, forming a bridge for us. If we listen closely, we can hear it eating. We travel from planet to planet, pounding stumps to make the caterpillar form bridges to other planets and, eventually, the Launch Star. Other stumps on the planet will make bugs or a Life Shroom appear.
After launching, we land on Major Burrows's planet, where we see a Star Bunny being chased by a large Monty Mole with a spike helmet. The Star Bunny calls for help, believing that he'll be eaten otherwise. We pound the ground near where Major Burrows is to make him appear from underground and spin for one hit. The battle music starts. The Star Bunny hides on a ledge on the tree for safety. Now, Major Burrows is after us. We use the same strategy (ground pound, then spin), but we wait to ground pound until his head appears from the ground, and once we do, he'll leave his tunnel and walk around. We must quickly reach him and spin him for the hit, or he'll go back underground again. After the second hit, he turns red and his eyes turn orange. This time, after we ground pound, he'll flip over back into the ground, then come after us. We must pound the ground near him once more, then spin him once he's out walking around. He then explodes. The Star Bunny thanks us and we get the Star.
Star Get #46, 5 Coins, 1703 Star Bits, 14 Lives
Luigi
I died a few times using Luigi, because the Floaty Fluff ran out at inopportune times. On Take 5, I survived dealing with Floaty Fluff and progressed. I also was able to grab a Pull Star so I could reach the ring. It is a ring made out of metal grating wrapped in spiky vines. We must wander around the vines, or risk jumping over them to reach the Launch Star to the apple planet. Along the way, we can get a 1-up. We pound the stumps on the apple planets and reach the Launch Star, getting the Life Shroom on the way. We start the battle, getting in the three hits while taking a couple ourselves. We defeat him and get the Star.

Gusty Garden Galaxy - Bunnies in the Wind
Welcome to the Galaxy!
Mario
We land on a small, grassy planet, while the Gusty Garden music plays. I like this music and it's well associated with Galaxy, being used in promotional materials for Galaxy 2. There are some Star Bunnies on the planet, next to some plants. One says, "With Floaty Fluff, you can shake to fly higher! But only up to three times, boiyoing! If you want to get down during the ride, just press (A), boiyoing!"
We go up to the Floaty Fluff, shake to release it from the ground, and jump to grab on. We follow the wind currents, shaking when the Wiimote vibrates to gain altitude (you can shake the Wiimote whenever, but when it vibrates, it lets you know you're falling a little low). We land on the next planet and get some Star Bits in the green pipe. We take another Floaty Fluff to the next planet, where there are a Rocky Wrench and Piranha Plants. To kill the Rocky Wrench, approach it while it's above ground, ground pound to flip it over, and spin or run into it. We also kill the Piranha Plants for a vine to the next planet and a 1-up. If you go to the underside of the planet, you may notice a set of footprints being created. Those belong to the Starbag, an enemy similar to the Moneybag from Super Mario 64. They are invisible, but if you follow their footprints around, and spin when you're close, they will reveal themselves, stunned. While they're stunned, run into them for 20 Star Bits. They will also appear if you stop chasing them for a while. On the next planet, we find a purple spiked Piranha Plant. We kill it for a Launch Star and launch to a cube-shaped planet called the Puzzle Cube. It is silent here; we only hear the fountain.
We talk to the nearby Star Bunny, who says, "Think you can catch me, boiyoing?" He hops away and the Star Bunny music starts. He hops all over the puzzle cube, able to go through hedges which are obstacles for Mario. Eventually, we catch him. He says, "OK, OK, you got me! Here, take this Star, boiyoing! Don't expect to catch me so easily next time!" The Star appears over a bride on the cube.
Star Get #45, 10 Coins, 1634 Star Bits, 15 Lives

We land in the galaxy and use the Floaty Fluff twice. We kill Piranha Plants for vines and get a 1-up. We launch to the Puzzle Cube and chase the Star Bunny, catching it quickly. The Star appears over a bridge.

Bowser's Galaxy Generator - Green Star 2
Welcome Back to the Galaxy!
This one is much farther into the galaxy. I got a Life Shroom, hit a firebar, took a hit from a hammer and to the Floaty Fluff to the area with the drill. I tripped the midgate and took a hit from a Banzai Bill. I got a 1-up and launched to the midgate. I then lost my Shroom to Bullet Bills and got a Cloud Suit. I took more hits and launched to the midgate. I took a hit from a Magikoopa and saw the Star by the turrets. It's out in the open, but I missed it with a long jump.
Take 2- I took a hit from a Magikoopa and got Yoshi. With Yoshi, I hovered to the Star. This is a Type 2, Type 3 Star.

Honeyhop Galaxy - Green Star 2
Welcome Back to the Galaxy!
I took a hit from a green bird and used Floaty Fluff to get to the midgate. I reached the top of the planet, and with the Bee Suit, had Luigi climb onto the Queen, jump and fly to the Star. This is a Type 1, Type 3 Star. That was easy!

Honeyhop Galaxy - The Sweetest Silver Stars
Welcome Back to the Galaxy!
This galaxy features the music from Honeybloom. We get the Bee Suit again. I take a hit from a Piranha Plant and get another suit so I can climb the honeycomb. We reach a water area, where there is a green pipe with 3 dice and a 1-up on the lower level. I got a 1-up from one of the dice. I take a hit from a pink Octoomba and use a flower bloom to sling up to a new level. There are balls of water rolling down several slopes. I take a few tries, but finally get up to where the water comes out from a cave. We find some Floaty Fluff and we take it to the next planet, popping 2 balloons in the process. We land and trigger the midgate.
Above one of the flowers is a Life Shroom. We see a Silver Star nearby, between the water jets. There is another one near the water blasters. We lose the Bee Suit to the water jets, which is fine, because when we go around the right side, we find an area to wall-jump up for another Silver Star. We wall-jump up higher for the Comet Medal. We reach the top and find the Queen Bee. She once again has an itch on her back. We don the Bee Suit and climb around to find the source of the itch- a Silver Star! But we're missing one. The last one is on the left side above a man-eating flower. As you might expect, the Star flew to the top of the planet, so we have to go back.
Star Get #40, 23 Comet Medals, 662 Star Bits, 947 Coins, 9 Lives
Interlude
A Comet appears in Supermassive Galaxy. We land in the Engine Room. Lubba says we brought back a striped mushroom, the Bee Shroom. He tells us to have fun with our unusual toy-once again, he's not judging. Lubba tries to appear to be the least judgmental character, but his message comes through loud and clear: we are very strange. I don't disagree with him, but I wonder how we bring stuff back with us.
