Rainbow Ride - Somewhere Over the Rainbow

Yes, the title was probably taken from a song in the "Wizard of Oz", but where is this rainbow we have to go over? It's high in the sky, cleverly hidden without a map. Hopefully you talked to the Bob-omb Buddy in the maze, because we need the cannon for this mission. But where is the cannon? It's conveniently located at the stern of the Cruiser. Take a right at the hub and a left where the carpet's path forks. Board the Cruiser as you did in Cruiser Crossing the Rainbow and head to the back of the ship (or let the wind push you). Make sure when you reach the bow that you end up in the cannon. When the cannon sets itself up, you'll see a circular rainbow. Aim at the center of the circle. If executed correctly, you'll fly to a floating island with a Chuckya. The block has a Star. (The Chuckya threw me into it.)

That's it! We're done with the last course! Now all we have left is to battle Bowser! (We got 100 Coins later in the Cruiser Crossing the Rainbow mission.)

Now with the Touch Screen Map, we can see where the island with the Star is. It's between the first carpet's path and the pyramids from Tricky Triangles. We go to the right from the hub and left where the carpet's path forks. Then board the Cruiser once more. I got a 1-up in the middle of the spinning top-like platform that tries to knock you off the carpet. I found out that the cannon was not open for some reason, so I opened it again, having to drop down and go back into the maze. A Bob-omb knocked me off.
Take 2- This time, the cannon was open, so we hopped in. We see the rainbow ring and aim for the center, in line with the pole, which we can see in this version. We fire the cannon and cling to the pole. We break the item block for the Star and the Chuckya throws us off the island, into the void. Not fair! He almost swung us into the Star, but it didn't count!
Take 3- We fired the cannon, taking out Lakitu in the process. We broke the item block and quickly got the Star, so the Chuckya didn't have another chance to repeat Take 2.
