Welcome Back to the Galaxy!
This Star is on the third planet. You can't reach it with regular jumps, because it is high above a cloud. This means that you have to keep a Cloud Suit on through the first 2 planets with a couple of clouds left. The only place to get a Cloud Suit/ more clouds is on the first planet, so you can't take any damage or use up your entire cloud supply. This is like a Daredevil run. This took me 20 Takes. During some of the takes, I returned to the map after losing my Cloud Suit. On Take 20, I reached the cloud, took the 1-up, and backflipped, used a cloud, backflipped again, and spun to get the Star. This is a Type 1, Type 3.

Bowser's Galaxy Generator - Green Star 2
Welcome Back to the Galaxy!
This one is much farther into the galaxy. I got a Life Shroom, hit a firebar, took a hit from a hammer and to the Floaty Fluff to the area with the drill. I tripped the midgate and took a hit from a Banzai Bill. I got a 1-up and launched to the midgate. I then lost my Shroom to Bullet Bills and got a Cloud Suit. I took more hits and launched to the midgate. I took a hit from a Magikoopa and saw the Star by the turrets. It's out in the open, but I missed it with a long jump.
Take 2- I took a hit from a Magikoopa and got Yoshi. With Yoshi, I hovered to the Star. This is a Type 2, Type 3 Star.

Throwback Galaxy - Green Star 3
Welcome Back to the Galaxy!
This Star is far out from the mid-level clouds where a Silver Star is. I took 2 hits from a Paragoomba and got the Cloud Suit. Unfortunately, I didn't line my cloud path up correctly and missed the Star and fell in. I jumped off the clouds nearest the Paragoomba.
Take 2- I long-jumped from the middle cloud and made clouds to the Star and got it. This is a Star of all Types.

Twisty Trials Galaxy - Green Star 2
Welcome Back to the Galaxy!
I saw the Star past the 1-up, which I got, as well as the Cloud Suit. I saved myself 3 times, so I had to recharge my cloud supply. I got another 1-up, used up all of my clouds, and fell off.
Take 2- I got the Cloud Suit and a 100 Star Bit 1-up. I long-jumped from the rotating block pointing toward the back right corner and made clouds to get the Star. This is a Star of all Types.

Twisty Trials Galaxy - Green Star 1
Welcome Back to the Galaxy!
It's time to find Stars while negotiating rotating blocks! I heard a Star near the 1-up. I saw a Star out in space to the right. I jumped out with clouds to get it. This is a Star of all Types!

Starshine Beach Galaxy - Green Star 3
Welcome Back to the Galaxy!
This Star will take some time to get. The Star is high above the floating gourd with the spring. This Star is in the 2nd mission, so there's no Yoshi. I dove underwater to reach the top of the big tower and flipped the switch to make the Cloud Flower appear. After getting the Cloud Suit, I took a leaf boat to the gourd, used the spring, and made clouds to reach the Star. This is a Type 1, Type 3 Star.

Fluffy Bluff Galaxy - Green Star 3
Welcome Back to the Galaxy! This Star is much farther from the first 2. We have to launch twice and trip 2 midgates. I got 2 1-ups along the way. We find the Star on the mountain to the left of where we met The Chimp. We extend the cloud path with our own clouds, but I fell off the mountain.
Take 2- I used the clouds and successfully got the Star. This is a Type 1, Type 3 Star.

Welcome Back to the Galaxy!
In the opening cutscenes, we see a Star on a high hill near Red Toad. This isn't that Star. I can hear the Star immediately when we land. I wander around, looking for it, but don't see it. Then I look up, waaaaay up, and see the Star directly above where we landed. This is a Type 1, Type 3. It's too high up for a mere backflip and spin. We grab a Cloud Flower, avoid the water, and make clouds to get the Star.

Bowser Jr.'s Boom Bunker - Boomsday Machine Daredevil Run
Welcome Back to the Galaxy!
It's another Grand Star Comet, but instead of just battling Bowser Jr., we have to go through the galaxy again, with some modifications. I died from a sparking enemy.
Take 2- I fired the cannon, but died from a Boomerang.
Take 3- I got a 1-up from hitting the bulls-eye and killed the Boomerang Bros. I unfortunately aimed the cannon into the dark matter and died.
Take 4- I got the 1-up, but died from a boomerang.
Take 5- I got a 1-up, but died from a Boomerang Bro.
Take 6- I fell off the screw before the cannon.
Take 7- I got a 1-up and hit the 2nd target on the dark matter, which is different from the non-Comet galaxy. We travel on a tilting yellow platform that moves through the dark matter, which periodically forms hills. I reached the midgate. Yes! Now I can make some progress! Unfortunately, I fell in the dark matter trying to recharge my Cloud Suit. We need the Cloud Suit to make it across the dark matter to the Launch Star.
Take 8- I launched and reached Bowser Jr. He uses the same dialogue, but by this point, we all know we're not getting a Grand Star if we beat him. I get in one hit, but die when I hit the electricfied tower.
Take 9- See Take 8.
Take 10- I got a 1-up before launching and get in 2 hits before getting hit by an electric ball.
Take 11- I got a 1-up, got in one hit, and died from an electric ball.
Take 12- I got in two hits before dying from an electric ball.
Take 13- I got a 1-up, but fell in the dark matter.
Take 14- See Take 13.
Take 15- I got in all 3 hits this time. The second 2 hits required a lot of patience because the tower could draw in and electrify the clouds and after the 2nd hit, the tower moves around. The tower explodes again, sending Bowser Jr. flying away.

Throwback Galaxy - Whomp Silver Star Speed Run
Welcome Back to the Galaxy!
This time, we have to get all 5 Silver Stars in 2 minutes. I would have preferred 2:30, but I have to work with what I'm given. I got the first 3 easily, but decided to get the one on the side cloud next because I don't have time to go to the top, then the side cloud, then back to the top. However, before I could reach the 4th Star, I ground pounded through the cloud instead of long jumping and fell into the void.
Take 2- I ran out of clouds after the 3rd Silver Star, so I fell off trying to reach the 4th Star with 1 minute left.
Take 3- I got the first 3, but I hit the wall trying to get the fourth and couldn't recover.
Take 4- I got 4, but hit a Goomba and ran out of time.
Take 5- I got 4, but fell off the planet.
Take 6- See Take 5.
Take 7- I got 3, but fell off with a bad shake.
Take 8- I got 2, but ground pounded through a cloud trying to reach the 3rd.
Take 9- I got 1, but was killed by a Thwomp.
Take 10- I got 2, took a hit from a Piranha Plant, and ground pounded into the void. I gave up at this point.
Take 11- This time I got all 5 Silver Stars with 16 seconds to spare. I backflipped up the wall after the 4th Star, which drops us off right by conveyor platform to the top of the fortress. The Star appeared at the top of the fortress.

Twisty Trials Galaxy - Spinning and Spinning and Spinning
Welcome Back to the Galaxy!
This Galaxy is a reference to one of the secret Shine missions in Super Mario Sunshine. Specifically, it's a reference of The Secret of Ricco Tower, but with a different background, and different music. It's the music of Supermassive, instead of an a cappella version of the original Mario theme. This galaxy is filled with long, continuously rotating blocks, that look somewhat like children's toys. This shouldn't be too hard, because Mario has to do this without assistance from F.L.U.D.D. in Sunshine. I made a bad jump and jumped off into the void. Okay, so this won't be super easy.
Take 2- I progressed further, far enough to see that we get to use the Cloud Suit here. Unfortunately, I used up my 3 clouds saving myself, leaving me none when I needed to save myself again.
Take 3- I slid off one of the wooden blocks. The parts of the block that are safe to stand will be lit up, but not brightly. The unsafe parts will be in shadow.
Take 4- I got a 100 Star Bit 1-up. I got another 1-up by wall jumping in between walls. I got past the spinning gears. I got another 1-up (they're pretty generous with the 1-ups) and the Comet Medal. I fell off because I had no clouds left.
Take 5- I got 1-up from wall-jumping, another 100 Star Bit 1-up, and the Comet Medal. After a long platforming adventure, we reach the Star at the end over a stationary platform.
Star Get #95, 44 Comet Medals, 1634 Star Bits, 9 Lives

Bowser's Galaxy Generator - Bowser's Fortified Fortress
Welcome Back to the Galaxy!
It's time for the final battle! I have more than enough Stars, so let's see the ending! But first, let's check out the preceding cutscene:
Mario and Lubba are on the deck of S.S. Mario. Both of them are wearing their angry faces. Wind is blowing against them.
Lubba: All right! Time for the grand finale, captain! Somewhere in there... "Chay-chay" Your princess is waiting!
(The cutscene proceeds like the beginning-in a storybook fashion. The Galaxy Generator is shaped like Bowser's head.)
Lubba: What a surprise... It's a comet! It looks like Power Stars weren't the only things getting eaten up around here! It looks like Bowser wants to get even bigger!
(Baby Luma gets excited.)
Lubba: "Chu!" You need to stop that monster before he devours everything in his path! Get in there and show him what ya got!
We will, Lubba! (Anything in quotations in the above cutscene was vocalized and did not appear in a text bubble.)
There is new music when we land in the galaxy. We land on turrets floating in space. There is a Luma to guide us, but we ignore him to go to the left and get a Life Shroom on a flagpole. We launch to the next area, where we take hits from and defeat 3 Hammer Bros who throw multiple hammers. At the edge of the platform is a plant. When we defeat all 3 Hammer Bros, it blooms into Floaty Fluff. We ride it down, over a lava sea, where lava balls are launched out of torches. We did not steer well, and a lava ball hit the Floaty Fluff and destroyed it, leaving us to fall into the lava, where we died.
Take 2- We get another Life Shroom, defeat the Hammer Bros, and successfully take the Floaty Fluff to the next platform, which rotates between 2 walls of lava. There is a drill and a dirt patch, so we drill and fall to the midgate. This planet is a hexagonal cylinder with Banzai Bills moving over most of the path. We walk around the planet, dodging the Banzai Bills and the lava. I fell in the lava with a drill, then hit the electric fence lining most of the path. I drilled in one particular dirt patch for a 1-up. When I drilled in front of the last Banzai Blaster, I reached the Launch Star.
We launched to another midgate, which was another 2D cylinder. We went through the platforms and get the Cloud Suit. We continue, dodging Bullet Bills, until we reach a Luma. He says, "Save your special one and return to us safely." We plan to do so. He henshin in to a Launch Star and we launch to another midgate. This time, we land on a wooden bridge like in Hightail Falls. We kill a Magikoopa, but take a hit first. To the left, is Yoshi, who adds tympani drums to the music, which is more appropriate than the usual bongos. We jumped off the level because I didn't see the Swing Flowers until it was too late.
Take 3- I used the Swing Flowers, but went into a lava pillar and died in the lava. Note to self: wait for lava pillars to go down.
Take 4- I went the alternate path, got a 1-up, but fell in the lava because the path dead-ended there.
Take 5- I make it past the lava pillars, take out the 2 Boomerang Bros. after taking 2 hits. Then, the rock wall parts, revealing a Dash Pepper. I made it to the Sling Star and landed on a snaking platform. I lost Yoshi when we took a hit from a Magikoopa. I followed the platform, but found out I needed Yoshi to dodge the Blaargs, so I fell in the lava.
Take 6- I fell in the lava and gave up at this point.
Take 7- I continued the next day. This time, as previously mentioned, I caught someone playing my file. They had already beaten Bowser and revealed the surprise at the end. I replaced the file with the one from the day before. I got a Life Shroom, took a hit from a fireball, nearly fell off the planet, but saved myself by launching. I took out the Hammer Bros. and reached the midgate. I got a 1-up and launched to another midgate. I took a hit from a Bullet Bill and launched to the next midgate. I got Yoshi, but lost him to the fire. I lost the Life Shroom from hits from the Boomerang Bros. I was then stuck between the rock walls due to bad steering.
Take 8- I was killed by a Boomerang Bro.
Take 9- I reached the Sling Star this time and got the Comet Medal on the left using the Swing Flowers. Unfortunately, I fell in the lava and died.
Take 10- I fell in the lava and died.
Take 11- I slung, got the Comet Medal and got the Blimp Fruit needed to get past the Blaargs. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that the platform was moving forward instead of up, so I missed it and the Blimp Fruit ran out over the void when I started chasing the platform.
Take 12- I fell in the lava.
Take 13- I got the Comet Medal and fell in the lava.
Take 14- I made it back on the snake platform with the Blimp Fruit, but misjudged the distance and jumped off too soon and fell into the void just before the midgate. Nooooo!
Take 15- I got a 100 Star Bit, the Comet Medal, and reached the midgate. Yes! There are Lumas waiting for us. There is a Bowser Statue in the background, and the Lumas won't go past it. They say we'll beat him -(of course!)- and to have faith. We can't bring Yoshi with us into the final battle-Awww, man!- because we have to climb a flagpole, which Yoshi can't. We climb up the flagpole to another sealed door. I found a Life Shroom to the left and break the 3 seals with meteorites and reveal the purple beam into the battle arena.
Baby Luma comes out from under our hat. A huge Bowser is sitting in his throne. (My thoughts are in parentheses.)
Bowser: Give it up already! Why won't you stop trying to mess up my awesome master plan?! (Because it's evil!) I'm building my new galactic empire right here! And you can't stop me! (I bet we can!) Why don't you just run off and go find some green pipe to hide in?! (Enough chit-chat. Where's the princess?)
Bowser opens his hand to reveal Peach in a pink bubble. (There she is! Hi, Peach!) She calls out Mario, with better adjusted volume than in Galaxy.
Bowser: Can't you see that I'm busy here?! I don't have time to chat, so let's cut this short...Shorty! (Hey! Who are you calling short? Oh, yeah, Mario's about half Peach's height. Never mind.) Bowser sends Peach away in her bubble. (Bye, Peach!) Bowser jumps off the throne to where we are, and roars, lifting us up to the planet where we shall do battle.
The music is different from the other battles, with chorus singing in the background. Bowser punches the planet with purple fire, creating six flaming energy beams that come together. We jump away to dodge. He sends 3 meteors down to the planet, which land with shock waves. I use one to get in my first hit. I take a hit from a shock wave and get in my 2nd hit. Bowser is stunned and roars. He then breathes fire over the planet. I get in my 3rd hit and get burned by purple fire. I get in my 4th hit and the Grand Star is knocked out of his mouth. Hooray! I did it! I beat Bowser! He falls into dark purple smoke after clawing for the Grand Star and shrinks. We land back on the planet where the throne is and the Grand Star descends. We go to get it and jump for it.
GRAND STAR GE-
-Just before we can reach it, Bowser, still large reappears from the beneath the planet and gobbles up the Grand Star! What, you thought we were finished with this guy? That would be too easy! I have to give Bowser credit for not giving up so easily, although I don't like it. I also didn't see it coming.
Bowser: Hey... guess what, Mario! Breathe a sigh of relief, (why?) because it'll be your last! (Uh-oh.) Know why?! (Nope.) Because this is finally the end! (Yup.) The end of YOU! (This can't be good.)
Bowser blows us away and rolls up and starts rolling through space. Meteors appear under our feet. We have to aim carefully because Bowser changes positions. We get in one hit. We miss two or three times because he changes his location as well as his distance. He can get very close, making him easier to aim for. We get in 2 more hits, then later, the fourth hit. Mario gets in extra hits to show Bowser who's boss.
Bowser: Raawwwrrgh! My powers...gone...My empire...shrinking... My huge cake...Never got a slice...(Aww, too bad. Not that you needed it. Wait, why is it that I can beat Bowser in one take, but I get killed so often getting to him? Bowser is much easier in this game, even easier than Bowser Jr.)
Bowser reaches out, then hangs his head in defeat. He goes back into the smoke and disappears. The music changes to a remix of Peach's Castle and we see her holding onto the Grand Star. As it descends, she is sitting on it. (Things in quotations are vocalized.)
Peach: "Oh!"
Mario: "Oh!"
We land on a flower covered planet. We walk to the other side, where there are Star Bits.
Peach: "Thank you!" (She waves her hand.)
Peach: (after being spun) "Whee!" (she likes being spun around. She'll deflect you with her umbrella if Mario tries to land on her head. Why do I know this? I tried doing it, because there is very little interaction with Peach, but I do not in any way condone violence.)
We get the Grand Star. In the Grand Star Get! sequence, Peach and Baby Luma also appear. (Mario: Hey, you two! Get out of my cutscene! Oh, Baby Luma can stay. He helped.)
This doesn't actually count towards our total, but...
GRAND STAR GET #6!

Bowser Jr.'s Boom Bunker - Bowser Jr.'s Boomsday Machine
Welcome Back to the Galaxy!
We land on a planet with the Toad Brigade. The wreck of the Megahammer is strewn over the planet. It's broken, according to Red Toad, but the eyes of the cockpit still light up. The other four Toads are cowering nearby. Red Toad is confident, but when we approach him, the Megahammer lauches Bullet Bills. I am hit by one. I get a 1-up from a die. Three purple smooshing enemies are present and I take a hit from one of them, as well. I find I have to lure a Bullet Bill to a cage to open up the cannon. I take a hit from them twice, and am rotated off the platform.
Take 2- We use the Bullet Bill to open the cannon and get a 1-up from the die. I take a hit from the Bullet Bill and launch to a flagpole. I have to deal with 2 Boomerang Bros., who make a weird noise when they throw their Boomerangs. I took two more hits from the Boomerang Bros. and died.
Take 3- I take hits from the purple electric enemy and a Bullet Bill. I free the cannon, but my aim was just far enough off to send Mario flying into oblivion.
Take 4- We launch in the cannon, take a hit from a Boomerang Bro, and kill both of them. A Launch Star appears and we get a Life Shroom above the back left flagpole. We launch to the midgate, which is on a spherical planet with a cannon. We aim for the bull's eye, and hit it for applause and a 1-up. The bull's eye turns orange. We continue to rotating platforms, miss one and fall in.
Take 5- I got a 1-up from the bull's eye, but made a bad jump.
Take 6- Same as Take 5, but I tried a bad long jump.
Take 7- I got a 1-up from the bull's eye, get the Cloud Suit, but am knocked off by a space bomb.
Take 8- I got a 1-up and got knocked off. At this point, I reset the game so I wouln't trigger the appearance of Super Guide.
Take 9- I had to start over, opened the cannon, launched, but it was a bad shot.
Take 10- I take a hit from a Boomerang Bro, launch to the midgate, got a 1-up from the bull's eye, get the Comet Medal over a blue platform, and finally make it to the other side. I ground pound some stones and launch. Bowser Jr. appears in a tower. Bowser'll get angry if we get another Grand Star. (So let's take one!) It's time to break out the Boomsday Machine! (Uh-oh. That can't be good!) He'll continue to relax in his comfy cockpit. He'll watch us go boom! The Bowser Jr. music from Galaxy is heard here, which I really like. The tower is surrouded by fire bars. I take a hit from one. There are many clouds in the level, as well as Cloud Flowers. I get the Cloud Suit and create a cloud over a fan to reach a permanent cloud. The tower shoots out balls of lightning which will vaporize any cloud it comes in contact with. I create a path of clouds to the tower, land on the cockpit glass, which makes Bowser Jr. very upset. I pound the glass and crack it. Mario is magically pushed off the glass and lands just out of range of the fire bars. The tower then electrifies (Great! It's a remake of the tower Monty Mole controlled in Galaxy!). The tower also activates its fans, which will draw all clouds to the tower while it is electrified. We proceed cautiously, nearly taking a hit, but jumping off at the last second. We finally time it right and get in the 2nd hit. This time, the tower rises out of the ground to reveal that it is really a tank! (Oh dang! I do not need this!) Now we must hit a moving, sometimes electrified, target that can run us over. We also need to reach the higher sets of clouds so we can actually reach the target. We finally get in the third hit after some trial. The tower lights up and explodes, launching Bowser Jr. far away, crying in disappointment and despair. The Grand Star appears.
GRAND STAR GET #5!
Star Get #58, 32 Comet Medals, 357 Star Bits, 1301 Coins, 12 Lives
Interlude
Mario holds onto the tip of the Grand Star as they fly back to S.S. Mario. Chush! Lubba says he had a feeling we could get the fifth Grand Star. Next is the 6th "world". Bowser is going to put up an even stronger fight. Let's get Power Stars and save our Special One. The big fight awaits, the battle draws near. We must do our best and get him this time!

Shiverburn Galaxy - The Chimp's Ultimate Skating Challenge
Welcome Back to the Galaxy!
Shiverburn? That name has a similar pattern as Freezeflame. We land in the galaxy, and surprise, surprise, it has the same music as Freezeflame. We land on a lava covered planet, with the lava version of the Freezeflame music playing. There are lava pillars ande a volcano. We ride a platform through the lava while dodging lasers. We get a Cloud Suit and jump to a blue switch. We pound it and the planet completely freezes over. There's no timer, and the music changes permanently. We have frozen lava! We take a hit from the laser andget a 1-up and a Life Shroom. I get another Cloud Suit, take two more hits from lasers and fell off the edge.
Take 2- I fell in the lava, and later froze the planet. I get the 1-up and the Life Shroom and wander past the Launch Star to a green pipe at the other edge of the planet. We enter into the frozen lair of The Chimp. He says for this challenge, we need to bump the Gummits. We should avoid the spiked Gummits, or not. We start the challenge with 40 seconds to get 600 points, with green Gummits worth 10 points and gold ones worth 50 points. The Ray Surfing music plays as we skate around, running into the Gummits. On my first try, I got 440 points. Fortunately, The Chimp won't kill you if you fail, so we can try until we get it! I slowly figure out that the Gummits will always appear in the same pattern with a certain time limit before they disappear. We also can change directions must faster by jumping. It took 27 tries to get a score of 620, and my hands hurt afterward. The Chimp can't believe we beath his score. We may be his eternal rival when it comes to gaming skill. Seeing us in action was well worth a Star. He flips and claps and the Star appears.
Star Get #56, 118 Star Bits, 1280 Coins, 25 Lives

Starshine Beach Galaxy - Climbing the Cloudy Tower
Welcome Back to the Galaxy!
We land on the same platform as last time and launch to the main planet. We receive word that the Piantas are having a Strongest Pianta Tournament. We see some Piantas making lifting motions. When we approach them, they throw us up high so we can reach things we normally couldn't. The pink Pianta will lift us up into the trees. The yellow one on the hill will throw us to a 1-up. Another Pianta is not participating in the tournament, but decided to open up a Leaf Raft shop. They are available for us to try. We are told by another Pianta that the highest platform can only be accessed from deep water, so we dive in. Coins lead the way to the entrance and we swim upwards and sling to the surface. On the top of the platform is a water blaster and a switch. Said switch activates the water blaster and makes a Cloud Flower appear. The Star is on top of the tall tower, where in the last mission, we found a Silver Star. Now we have a way to reach it! We use the blaster to get off the platform and get the Cloud Flower. But we can't just walk to the tower: the path is covered in water. The Cloud Flower is on a sandbar near the dock where the leaf boats are. We long jump to a leaf boat, and tilt the Wiimote in the direction we want to go. I tried using the Piantas to toss us way up high, but they deactivate the Cloud Suit and only throw you straight up. We go back to get another Cloud Flower and come back to the tower. We climb the clouds circling the tower and jump to land on it. We recharge the Cloud Suit and make cloud stairs to the Star.
Star Get #44, 1001 Star Bits, 1196 Coins, 22 Lives
Interlude
We land on the base. Did we bring back a Pianta? Lubba says the Cloud Flower looks like fun. It appears by the brim of S.S. Mario's hat. Lubba says we should try to stay grounded. I look around, but don't find anything.

Cloudy Court Galaxy - Silver Stars in the Purple Pond
Welcome Back to the Galaxy!
Luigi is the galaxy upon our arrival. We can play as him, but I decide not to. I get the -1up from under the dinosaur hedge and the Life Shroom. I collect as many coins as I can and have 29 by the time I reach the drums. Near the fan on the planet with the Luma are more coins, so I have 30 to feed to the Luma. The Luma henshins into a new planet that looks like a planter bowl. We launch to the new planet and trigger the midgate.
We see lots of clouds floating over toxic purple goop. There are skull signs and the sign says don't fall it. There are Silver Stars over the clouds. This shouldn't be too difficult, right? It isn't, until you move to get the Silver Stars. Cosmic Clones appear to make your life difficult. I fell in after taking a hit from a Cosmic Clone. Taking a hit gets rid of your cloud power, so you can no longer stand on clouds. This level is very unforgiving. The sound as Mario fell in let me know that this was Dark Matter.
Take 2- I fell in the Dark Matter again. The Cosmic Clones will generate at each Silver Star, so you'll have many following you as you progress.
Take 3- I fell in between the clouds.
Take 4- I took a hit from a Cosmic Clone at the third Silver Star- there is a general path to follow.
Take 5- My aim was off and I jumped into the Dark Matter.
Take6- I fell in between the clouds.
Take 7- Okay, I'm failing way too much. I don't want to trigger the appearance of Super Guide, so let's take it easy. I get each Silver Star, dodging them when I have to back track. When I got the 5th Silver Star, the Cosmic Clones poofed. The Star flew over to where the signs were. I changed my camera perspective and slowly made my way back.
Star Get # 28, 890 Star Bits, 718 Coins, 15 Lives
Interlude
A Prankster Comet appeared in Yoshi Star Galaxy. No! Not Comets! (I know it's my fault for collecting the medals, but I don't like Comets!) Chush! Lubba says a Prankster Comet's been spotted. Comets can transform galaxies into wildly different places. (Don't I know it!) Collecting more Medals makes more Comets appear. (Drat!) We can get a Star from every Comet. (Goodie! But it won't be easy!) I'm going to save the Comet Stars for later when I have more experience.

Cloudy Court Galaxy - Head in the Clouds
Welcome Back to the Galaxy!
This galaxy has the same music as Fluffy Bluff. There are lots of windmills and similar architecture. There are lots of moving platforms. There is a hedge cut like a dinosaur and underneath it is a 1-up. The Cloud Flower retuns. Out over the abyss is a Life Shroom, which I get. I also try to get the ? Coin coins but fall off.
Take 2- I get the 1-up and the Cloud Flower and just move forward. A Whittle says "Cloud wind ride?" and, judging by the proximity of a windmill, we can create a cloud and ride it through the wind, like we did in the bubble. We are taken to a set of purple drums, which are springy. We land on a pair of cymbals, which make noise and have a switch to pound for Star Bits. We launch to a new area.
We reach the midgate and find a hungry Luma who wants 30 coins, but we can't get enough. Nearby is the Bonus Area with Paragoombas, but we fail it. We ride the cloud up from a fan beneath the planet. We take hits from a Paragoomba and green Octoomba and reach the Launch Star. We can see the Bonus Area from here. (If you're in the right area and look, most of the time, you can see the Bonus Area for the galaxy.)
We land near the midgate in another 2D area. We have to dodge red spiky plants. A Whittle says "Go down. Ride wind." We jump down and create a cloud where the air currents are. When we reach the end of the ride, we wall jump up and head to the left, where we use our clouds to get 3-ups on a high ledge. We go right and find two large walls moving together and apart. There are gaps in it and an air current moving upward. We have to time our jumps so we don't get squished. We carefully ascend and find the Comet Medal in one of the gaps. Once we reach the top, we see a tall windmill creating air currents to the left. Immediately to its left is the Star. We must use our clouds to go up, fight the wind and get the Star.
Star Get# 27, 15 Medals, 868 Star Bits, 712 Coins, 19 Lives
Interlude
Luigi appears! He got left behind and had to hustle to get to S.S. Mario. He decided to look for Power Stars, too. He will appear in a galaxy, so if we see him, we should say hi so he can help save the universe. Because if anyone should save the universe, it should be him! Strong words coming from a guy only slightly braver than the Toads. You'll get your turn, Luigi, be patient. But if we want to switch, we can begin Super Luigi Galaxy 2!

Fluffy Bluff Galaxy - Every Planet Has Its Price
Welcome Back to the Galaxy!
We land back in Fluffy Bluff. After some exploring, we find a 1-up under the wooden bridge near where we landed. After that, we kill as many enemies as we can find so we can add to our coin total. We also return to the green pipe and get the 1st set of coins from the ? Coin, and most of the 2nd set that appear immediately after. There is another ? Coin that produces 4 rows of coins on the cloud where the hungry Luma is. As we now have enough coins, we feed them to the Luma, who henshins into another planet. We launch to the new planet and reach the midgate. It is a stone fort and we must use our platforming skills to reach the top. We also get the aid of clouds and the Cloud Suit as we ascend. Over a rotating platform is a 1-up. At the top of the fort is the Star and we jump to get it.

Fluffy Bluff Galaxy - Search for the Toad Brigade Captain

Welcome back to the Galaxy!
The music starts out like the intro to Gusty Garden, but turns into its own original music. There are several tall trees and a lot of the planet is covered in water. There are also dive-bombing blue birds that resemble the bomb-dropping roosters in Dusty Dunes. I found a green pipe behind the tall tree on the first planet. It leads to a brown room with a ? Coin. Grabbing the ? Coin will make coins appear and a timer start. I failed to get the coins in the time limit and left. We meet a person made of carved wood, which we later learn is called a Whittle. Their speech is simple, but gets the point across. He stands in front of a flower with a cloud-like bloom. He says "Cloud step?". We get the Cloud Flower, so we henshin into Cloud Mario. There are three clouds trailing us wherever we go. Spinning turns one of the trailing clouds into a cloud platform that will disappear after a while. I use the clouds to reach the top of the tree. On top, we find Yellow Toad, once again fast asleep, but he mentions that Red Toad went missing. He also mentions the word "Coins". Using the Cloud Suit, we reach a cloud above the tree. There is a hungry Luma there, who wants 100 coins. Not Star Bits, coins. Star Bits are so much easier to get and stay with you after you lose a life. Your coin count goes back to zero every time you lose a life. I am unable to collect 100 coins at this point, so I leave him be.
Like the Bee Suit, the Cloud Suit will disappear if Mario touches water. I reach the midgate after climbing up some clouds and launch. More Cosmic Clones appear, but disappear when I collect the 5 Launch Star Chips. I get a 100 Star Bit 1-up and talk to a shaking Green Toad. He says he and the Captain tried to race a monkey, but he got left behind. Could this be the return of Ukiki from Super Mario 64? We climb up the trees and find Red Toad, shaking just like Green Toad. He was challenged to a race by a blue monkey with sunglasses. Nope, not Ukiki. We jump across the clouds to a peak. On top of the peak is the aforementioned monkey. He calls himself The Chimp and thinks we're a high climbing rival. He claps his hands and gives us a Star. Kind of anti-climatic - I was expecting to race him like the Toads, but I'll take an easy Star any day.
That's a thing of beauty. -Transmission 1
