The bros have saved all of the Paper Toads, so it's time to head to Mount Brrr via Gloomy Woods. Head towards the entrance of Gloomy Woods. The way north is blocked off, but a Toad mentions the nearby spring platform. Trio Glide onto the nearby platform, then to the tall platform to reveal that it is a spring. It launches the bros into the clouds. There are many coins and enemies here. Go east to find more. Drop through a hole to land on the ground. The one to the southwest will drop you on the cardboard platform forming a bridge to Gloomy Woods in northwest Sunbeam Plains.
Starlow notes that Gloomy Woods seems gloomier than before and thinks something is going to pounce on them. The woods certainly are darker here. Some Swoops fly by, startling everyone. They have to keep going. Starlow hopes Luigi can keep it together. Due east is the Toad Village, but you can't reach it from here due to the bridge. Walk to the west and send Paper Mario up the spider web. Hit the ! Block to make the roots ahead disappear.
Walk to the north and you'll find a tree with cracks in it that look like a mouth. Approach it and eyes light up. Swoops appear from the tree, reveal it's really King Boo and some Boos. They make roots appear, trapping in the bros. Luigi tries to escape that way, but fails, and notices the Marios are gone. He breaks down. Starlow says "Ow" and Luigi gets up. He's on his own. Walk to the east and Starlow says to get her out of the glowing plant. Starlow escapes, upset she got grass clippings in her mouth. Starlow makes the situation worse by making it very clear that Luigi's on his own. She realizes she needs to work on her pep talks. She tries encouraging him, saying he's tall, got a great mustache, and had a whole year named after him. It's basically Luigi RPG now. The pep talk works until some Swoops fly by.
Walk to the north. Luigi's rather slow on his own. Go west. Some Boos laugh and fire blocks the path behind you. A gate to the north opens and you have 1 minute, 30 seconds to cross through it. You can't take a path with Boos on it, so hop over the purple fire. You'll come to a fence and the Boos will laugh again. Take the path where the glowing plants don't flicker. There's another gate ahead. Leaves will start falling. Cross on the side where the leaves fall straight down. Cross through the gate to stop the timer. Go north. It's another challenge to cross the gate, this time within 2 minutes. Hop over the moving purple flames. When you step on the wooden platforms, you'll hit boost pads. There are some wide stairs ahead. Step on the stairs that don't have Boos on them. Near the gate, shadows appear. Step in the middle of the circle without touching the shadows and step out on near the gate. Go through the gate.
Luigi sees someone who looks like Mario from behind. He tries talking to it, but it's really a Boo. There are more Mario illusions here. Walk up the cardboard platform to the left to find a green block. Hit it to make a platform appear. Walk farther to the left and you'll find many Mario illusions staring at something. It's the real Mario, dangling from a tree. Jump and Mario wakes up and lands on Luigi. Starlow's happy to see Mario, since it was touch and go with Luigi. Now they need to find Paper Mario. Have Mario hit the red block to make two more platforms appear. Use them to cross to the right side of the clearing. On the other side, Luigi spies Paper Mario, or someone like him. Go south.
Loop around the water and go north. Use the Heal Block and save your game. Paper Mario's no longer in the area. One of the trees will move. Check it out. Paper Mario will appear. The bros think they've reunited with Paper Mario, but it's really King Boo. He'll breathe fire to start. Some of it will fly over the bro's head. He will then inhale the fire, so jump to dodge it. His crown is pointy, so don't use jump attacks. He'll split into 5 copies and approach the bros, then disappear. Time your counter with the hammer. He'll summon a Paper Boo to bring in Paper Mario. He says not to attack him or his minion if they like Paper Mario. All you can really do is damage King Boo with counter attacks. Use your turn to heal or use the hammer on the Paper Boo. After a while, King Boo will get angry. He'll breathe more fire and split into more copies. This fight is going to take a while. When King Boo is defeated, the Paper Boo will toss Paper Mario back to the bros. Starlow wants to get out of Gloomy Woods and meet up with Flutter to get a ride to Mount Brrr.

Super Princess Peach: Shriek Mansion -- 3-6
Break out your stylus for the first part of this boss level. Peach will free-fall to the sparkling circle below. There are Boos and Big Boos that will get in her way. Tap them repeatedly to make them go away and to get coins. The Boos may overwhelm you, so focus on the ones most likely to hit Peach. If a Boo hits her, you have to start over.
Once you get past the first stage, the Perry Block will tell you that Boos don't like light. Go through the pipe. This will take you to a room with four lanterns and a Toad in a bubble. Suddenly, the lanterns are extinguished and King Boo makes the Toad disappear. To hit him, make sure all four of the lanterns are lit. After the third hit, King Boo will start crying, which will extinguish lanterns as he follows you around. If you need to restore your Vibe Meter, pound the chandelier. Two more hits and he's finished. The Toad appears and dances with Peach.
After Peach and Perry set up camp, Perry has another dream. "Hrm? That dream again..." His grandpa says, "Oh, my! You'll catch a cold sleeping out here! Come on!" Perry thinks, "But why am I away from my grandpa? Where'd he go?! Huh? OH! YOU! I know you! Whoa... STOP!" Perry is turned into an umbrella and taken away. He's starting to remember what happened, but they have to keep going. They proceed to Fury Volcano.

Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon -- King Boo's Illusion - A Nightmare to Remember
Luigi lands somewhere dark and surreal. King Boo is laughing. Some curtains open and King Boo is wandering around. The curtains close and Mario's painting appears. King Boo makes the painting disappear. He's not happy about Luigi trapping him in a painting and he's going to paint the town red. He broke the Dark Moon. His crown enhances his power. He wants to be supreme ruler of our world, with the Evershade Valley ghosts as his army. He'll turn everyone into paintings. The final battle starts!
King Boo will pound the arena, causing a shockwave, and making spike balls appear. Don't touch them. When the spike balls are about to drop down, lure him under a shadow and use the vacuum to hold King Boo in place and let them land on him. You can now vacuum him. He has 100 HP. When you drop his HP to 0, he won't be contained in the vacuum. He breaks up the battle arena and Luigi slides into a mansion.
Now you have to run from him, dodging furniture obstacles. Ahead are pillows which will slow you down. Stay on the hardwood floors. You'll go up and down stairs, some of which are slides and escalators. Dodge the snow and spring out the window.
You'll return to the battle arena. Pillows will land on the floor. The battle will continue as usual. Some of the tiles will become cracked. If a spiked ball rolls over them, they will return to normal. He'll escape the Poltergust 5000 and chase you through a mansion.
This mansion will have suits of armor and will be dark in spots. Use the flashes of light and your flashlight to navigate, as there springs to deal with. Next is an icy patch with ice tablets blocking your way. They'll fall eventually, but will slow you down. Slide down the stairs and ice. Run between the suits of armor and spring out of the window back to the battle arena.
Avoid the lightning strikes. The floor won't change, but only one tile will be safe. The next few rounds of lightning will change the floor to cracked tiles or spikes. This time, when you drop his HP to 0, you'll capture him. The jewel in his crown is spit out. It's over. Grab the jewel, do a victory dance, and the illusion shatters, and you're on the Terrace.
Mario's painting is here. Gadd pixelates to the Terrace. Gadd says Luigi should try using the Dark Light to free Mario, instead of knocking on the frame. Mario thanks Luigi, calling him "Number 1". The five Toads pixelate in, with the Dark Moon pieces. They help Luigi reassemble the Dark Moon and it flies into the sky, sending out a wave of pacifying energy. Ghosts in the vault and all of Evershade Valley are friendly again. Gadd releases all of the ghosts in the Ghost Container. Time for a group photo! Luigi hangs the photo in his house, and has taken in the Polterpup.

Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon -- Treacherous Mansion - E-5 Paranormal Chaos
After our battle with Big Boo, there's a new radical signal on the Parascope. Gadd says it's a distortion of the fabric of our dimension. There's a paranormal portal on the Terrace. Gadd thinks the Dark Moon piece might be beyond it. Mario and King Boo should be there, as well. It's a dangerous task, but we must do it.
Inner Courtyard
We land in the Inner Courtyard. Spin the staircase so you can reach the door in the back, near the pixelator screen.
Terrace
King Boo is here. He uses the gem on his crown to open the portal and goes through it. Lots of strong ghosts fly out of the portal. This is probably how the infestations happen. Gadd says the portal will have to wait as we deal with these ghosts, or our dimension could collapse on itself. It starts storming. Check your map for locations of ghosts. Use E-Gates to move quickly.
Nautical Exhibit
Slammers are here, both strong and regular varieties.
Space Exhibit
Strong Greenies are here, some with shields.
Aviation Exhibit
Restore the hot air balloon to make MaraBoo appear. MaraBoo has 40 HP.
Ice Age Exhibit
Strong Sneakers are here.
Dark Age Exhibit
Strong Greenies with swords and shields.
Ancient Exhibit
Mummies and Strong Greenies whipping up twisters. After a while, Gadd will call, saying the dimension is reaching its paranormal limit. A timer will tell you how much time you have left. The timer will stop if you catch some ghosts to bring the level much lower than the limit.
Jungle Exhibit
Strong Gobber.
Restrooms
Creepers.
Kitchen
Strong Hiders
Once you've taken care of all the above ghosts, Gadd calls, saying there are high paranormal readings in the Terrace again.
Terrace
More ghosts are coming through the portal. Catch as many as you can, especially if you can get multiple ghosts at a time. Prepare for an absolute onslaught of ghosts. Gadd may tell you the paranormal level is getting too high. Once you're done, Gadd calls, saying we're an artist at ghost-catching. He returns us to the Bunker.

Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon -- Treacherous Mansion - E-1 Front-Door Key
The last Dark Moon piece is in Treacherous Mansion and so are some of the highest levels of paranormal activity ever recorded. Gadd says it's a terrible idea for a paranormal investigator to go in there, but not for Luigi. On the bright side, Luigi has a very bushy moustache. Gadd gives us the Front-Door Key so we can get into the mansion easily. Gadd can't pinpoint the Dark Moon piece's current location due to the paranormal interference, so we'll have to look around.
Veranda
We land on the Veranda, which crosses a narrow bridge of rock to the mansion. Below are thunderous waterfalls. If you go back through the gate and use the Strobulb on the gargoyles, you'll get some money, even more from the invisible one on the right. Past the gate is a narrow bridge that we must cross like the beams. The first one is really short. The rocks ahead fall apart, so you'll have to jump to another bridge. All the while, you're looking at the water below. The third bridge is short, but will break when you get close to the other side. You'll stuck at the mansion now. Check out the front door and guess who shows up? As expected, it's the Polterpup, who takes the key and runs off. The gargoyles move so you can go to other parts of the Veranda. To the right, you can look into the window and see a couple of Toads being turned into paintings by King Boo. Through a broken window on the left, you'll see Greenies playing with parts of suits of armor. A little further to the left is an invisible treasure chest with lots of money. Down the stairs, you'll see the Polterpup run off, and a well. Shine the Dark Light on the well to restore a red ball. The doghouse to the right has money. Go down the stairs near the well and you'll see a blocked door. The Polterpup is on the other side, wearing a helmet. We'll have to find another way in, because we don't have any haunted dog treats. This is where the well comes in. Go into the Bottom of the Well.
Bottom of the Well
Peel off the lighter covering on the wall for lots of money. There are lots of mushrooms down here (and none of them give you special powers). Go to the right and pull the tangled vine to break open the wall to the Guard Tunnel.
Guard Tunnel
As expected, the Polterpup runs off when you appear. Aside from looking through the back wall into the Ceremonial Chamber, the only thing you can do is pull another tangle of vines on the right wall. This will make two Strong Greenies appear. They'll pick up swords, so try to vacuum them up at the same time. A Strong Slammer will appear as well. Another Strong Greenie will appear and help it. Once all four ghosts are gone, the path to the right opens up. This leads to the Cliffside.
Cliffside
There's a wheel on the wall that briefly raises the gate ahead. Run quickly to get past it. The spikes will hurt you. The door behind it leads to a part of the Ceremonial Chamber.
Ceremonial Chamber
You can't do anything about the web with the gold bars initially, so go to the left. In the main part of the Chamber, there are suits of armor and gargoyles. Pick up the web ball to the left. You can get the gold bars to the right and light the fuses under the gargoyles. A chair with a suit of armor will appear. Another suit of armor will start moving. Wait until it's over the rug, then pull the rug out from under it. It's a Strong Greenie. Spiders will start appearing. The suit of armor on the chair will move. It's another Strong Greenie. Once you're done, get the money from the chest behind the first suit of armor that moved. Sit in the chair and it will take you further underground to the Haunted Catacombs.
Haunted Catacombs
This place is off the map. It's also a maze. You're supposed to take a certain path to find the Polterpup. If you take the wrong path, you return to the part with the chair. The Polterpup took the correct path, so follow his paw prints. Initially, you'll go closer to the screen, then to the right. The back wall there has a rattling coffin behind the wallpaper. Go to the right once more, from where the paw prints are, then go towards the back wall, past two suits of armor. Go left to check out the rattling coffin. It's a secret area where you have 10 seconds to collect 8 Red Coins while dodging a couple of suits of armor. It's not much of a maze; just run. Your prize is 5 gold bars. When you return, follow the paw prints again. That will take you to the right, then towards the front wall to a door. To summarize, with front meaning towards the wall closest to the screen and back meaning towards the back wall, go front, front, right, right, back, back, right, front. If you move to the front once more, there's an invisible treasure chest with lots of money. The door leads to the Underground Lab.
Underground Lab
There are Strong Greenies performing a Frankenstein-like experiment on a suit of armor without arms. It rises up a little. Vacuum off their goggles, then get them, as well as the Strong Sneaker. Once they're gone, spin the same wheel to get another bolt of electricity. This will knock the helmet off, revealing Boolldog, with 40 HP. Use the helmet to hit the jar on the wall with a diamond. The door on the right returns you to the Haunted Catacombs, on the other side.
Haunted Catacombs
This maze is a little shorter: front, left. There's another door. If, from the door of the lab, you go right, front, you'll reach a treasure chest with money. From the treasure chest, back, back to the slumped suit of armor, right to the webs, front, front, to another door. Before we check it out, go back, right, back right to a painting of a web ball. Light it on fire, then bring the web ball to the web. Behind the web is a diamond. The door the Polterpup didn't go through leads to the other side of the Cliffside.
Cliffside
Dangling from the vine is a diamond. Vacuum it up. Behind the back wall's covering are lots of gold bars. Vacuum the plants for coins and stun the bats. Wall around to a treasure chest with lots of money. Return to the Haunted Catacombs and go through the door the Polterpup went through to the Dungeon Cells.
Dungeon Cells
The Polterpup was here, but a rumbling scares him off. In one of the barrels is a Strong Hider with 75 HP. Remove the plant from the large barrel to get some water flowing and fill the bucket. Carry the bucket into the first cell, which has a plant. The plant will give you lots of money. Go to the third cell and vacuum the bars. The painting on the wall produces bombs. Blow up the wall in the third cell, then pull the red ball to flip the painting into the second cell and blow up that wall. Enter the second cell from the first cell. The Polterpup is in the barrel and you can catch him now. This will give you the Front-Door Key. Go through the hole in wall in the third cell and Gadd calls. He returns us to the Bunker.

Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon -- Secret Mine - D-1 Cold Case
The Secret Mine was the site of a mining operation that was abandoned. The crystals in the mine have unusual properties. The Parascope has difficulty pinpointing signals due to the weather. We are to meet the Toad stationed there. He's not responding to calls.
Chalet Approach
Luigi lands here, on his head. It's snowing heavily, and things are sparkly here. There's a piece of ice that acts like a mirror, showing us a chest in the snow. Vacuum up the snow and open the chest for lots of money. There's a large tree to the right. Vacuum the snow in front of it and check out the tree to make a couple of gold birds appear. Stun them for money. Vacuum the snow on the path to proceed. In front of the Chalet are a couple of snowmen and a broken dogsled. Restore the painting on the dogsled for money. Shoot the snowmen heads for money. When you step on the porch, the window in front of you will fog up and a smiley face will be drawn on it. If you look through the window, you'll see that somebody or something is sleeping, but you can't tell what it is. Go past the door and activate the grill for a gold bar. Go inside to the Chalet.

There's a bearskin rug on the floor and a Hider in the rocking chair. There's another Hider and a Sneaker in the room. If you get close to the rug, it will roar at you. Once you defeat the ghosts, pull the bear's tail. A Gold Greenie will appear. You can't go upstairs, but there's a fuzzy purple creature up there. It was sleeping earlier. The pixelation screen is here. Go through the back door to the Smokehouse.
Smokehouse
Gadd says the Toad might be in the Fishing Hut outside. Restore the piece of cloth on the left hook near the door and pull off both pieces of cloth for a sapphire. Approach the door and Greenies appear from the stove, one holding a piece of coal. The stove will spit out pieces of lit coal. Use them to melt ice around the door, and from a rope dangling from a cupboard. Go outside to the Ice Lake.
Ice Lake
The Ice Lake has a hockey goal post on it. In the background, King Boo flies off into the distance. Peel the plaid cloth from the canoe if you want to look inside the Fishing Hut. In front of the Fishing Hut is a hockey puck in the snow. Shoot a goal with it and two Gold Greenies appear with hockey equipment. They'll try to attack you instead of running away. They each have 10 HP. Restore the door to the Fishing Hut and go inside.
Fishing Hut
A Boo is inside, but dives into the ice. Vacuum under the left bench for a sapphire. Shine the Dark Light high on the back wall to make a painting of Toad appear. Blue Toad is in the painting. He's so happy to see us that he jumps for joy on the ice, causing it to break. They both fall through to the area Under the Ice.
Under the Ice
Gadd's reception is pretty poor as we're under ground. He says it's extremely dangerous. Gadd says there's an elevator that will take us to the Chalet. There's a chest with money behind the ice slide. Pull the hooks from the fish to make a Gold Greenie appear. Avoid the vent in the front left part of the mine. Pick up Blue Toad and take him over the vent in the front left side of the mine. Before you leave, shoot Toad into the elevator shaft. He'll appear below with a sapphire. There's another vent up here covered by snow. It will take you to a ledge with gold bars. Use the bobber to get back down. Go through the door to the Terminal.
Terminal
There's a mirror in this room, showing us the door on the front wall. Go through the door on the back wall to the High Wires.
High Wires
There are bobbers here moving around like ski lifts. Take one to the other side. In the crow's nest is a sapphire. Shake the crow's nest with the vacuum. Return the way you came. Go through the left door in the terminal to the Airway.
Airway
A strong gust blows through here. There's a zip line here, but it can't be activated from where we're standing. The elevator we need is at the other end of a rickety rope bridge. Pick up Toad and shoot him into the nearby elevator so you can get the key in the other car. Return to the Terminal.
Terminal
The mirror is covered with a piece of cloth and a barrel is missing. Remove the cloth to see arrows pointing at the missing barrel. Restore the barrel to make Boofoon appear, with 35 HP. The key unlocks the door on the front wall to the Prospector's Crossing.
Prospector's Crossing
After breaking the ice in the Fishing Hut, Blue Toad is scared to go on the ice. Shoot him across the gap, then cross. The ice may break. On the other side, spin the pickaxe on the right wall for money. The door on the front wall leads to the Drift Hall.
Drift Hall
To the right is a sheet of ice with a chest. The chest has the key you need. Vacuuming the snow off the chest will make bats appear. Go to the left. Check the barrel and rafters for money. At the end is a coil of wire in the snow. Drag the wire to the lantern to light the fuse. This blows up the ice, revealing a metal container. Don't stand too close to the dynamite. The container leads to a secret area. What you have to do here is pick up the pieces of coal and aim them at spots on the snowman's face using the cross hairs. You have 39 seconds. This can be a little tricky. Line yourself in front of the higher ones so the coal doesn't bounce off. It will rain money as your reward. Go through the door on the back wall to the Basin.
Basin
There's a sheet of ice on the floor, which allows you to see the ghosts' reflections. There are three Sneakers here. Restore the exploding robot in ice in the back right corner and activate it for three gold frogs. The door on the left leads to the Airway.
Airway
There's a door on the left we can't reach. Pull the rope on the rope bridge post to tighten one side of the bridge so you can walk across it as you do rafter beams. This is very difficult, as there is a strong wind here. Wait until the major gust stops to run across most of the bridge. Once you do, pull the rope on the other post to stabilize the bridge. Up the stairs and to the left is the device that activates the zip line. Activate it, then go across the bridge to get Blue Toad. The elevator will take you directly into the Chalet, under the bearskin rug.
Chalet
There are two more fuzzy creatures here. Pick up and shoot the gold one repeatedly for money until it turns purple. Activate the pixelator screen and send Toad to the Bunker. Gadd returns us to the Bunker as well.

Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon -- More Mansions. More Fun.
The Dark Moon shines over Everglade Valley. E. Gadd has lab here, where he does research with the friendly ghosts in the area. King Boo appears in the sky and blasts the Dark Moon with the jewel in his crown, causing the Dark Moon to shatter and fall to the ground in different places. The ghosts in the lab suddenly turn vicious and tear E. Gadd's lab apart. Gadd runs off, terrified. Meanwhile, Luigi is asleep in front of the TV in his house, which looks like a Rank E mansion from Luigi's previous adventure. The TV screen turns to static, then Gadd appears on screen. This scares Luigi. Gadd needs Luigi's help because of the hostile ghosts. He uses the Pixelator to bring Luigi through the TV to his lab. Gadd is excited to see Luigi and he knew their paths would cross again. Luigi's in Gadd's Bunker, which is perfectly safe. Gadd's been continuing his paranormal research. He became an authority in the field after their last adventure. He shows Luigi the Dark Moon, which has a pacifying effect on the ghosts in Evershade Valley. Gadd leapt at the opportunity to study ghosts in a peaceful environment. His research was going very well, until the ghosts snapped and turned hostile. Gadd fled from Gloomy Manor and hid in the Bunker, where the ghosts won't find him. Gadd noticed that the Dark Moon had vanished and Evershade Valley had been enveloped in an eerie fog. He thinks the Dark Moon's disappearance is the cause. He's worried that the ghosts might leave and terrorize the world beyond the valley. He found a fragment of the Dark Moon nearby, which means it's broken. It also seems corrupted by some strange energy. The energy might be suppressing the Dark Moon's pacifying effect on ghosts. On the bright side, Gadd has inventions to help out. He gets out a device that cleans the Dark Moon, which dispels some of the fog, revealing one of the mansions. Gloomy Manor is now accessible. Gadd wants to find the other Dark Moon fragments to return Evershade Valley to normal. Luigi will have to contain the ghosts in the meanwhile. He's the best (and only) ghost wrangler Gadd knows.
The Poltergust 5000 is in Gloomy Manor, so Luigi will have to go get it. It's Luigi's first mission. The goal is to collect 2000 G while we're there.
Once again, Luigi must fight ghosts solo. It started a little like Paper Mario: Sticker Star, but this is all about Luigi. Let's get going!

Luigi's Mansion: Area 4
After defeating the ghosts of Area 3, we return to the balcony and water any remaining plants. The Diamond door we can now unlock is on the left side of the balcony. As soon as the door is unsealed and the thorns are gone, lightning strikes the mansion and the power goes out. Gadd tells us that the ghosts will have the run of the mansion now. Ghosts will appear everywhere now, even in the rooms and hallways you've cleared. Boos will not appear, however. All of the Toads have fled the mansion as well. We open the Diamond door and go to the end of the hallway on the right to the Telephone Room.
Telephone Room
A room dedicated entirely to telephones? This mansio has everything. Aside from a cabinet and some trunks, there are three telephones in the room. One of the phones is ringing. We answer it and the caller asks if Luigi or Bowser is speaking. If you answer Bowser, the caller will hang up and another phone will ring. This time, the caller knows it's Luigi and says it is Toad calling. The Toads don't like the dark and left when the power went out. They want Luigi to turn the lights on and mention the breaker switch in the Breaker Room. Gadd calls on another phone and mentions a Portrait Ghost named Uncle Grimmly. He likes the dark and hides in rooms with mirrors. After we're done talking, ghosts appear. The trunks and cabinets have money. Even though the room is cleared, the lights will not come on. We go in search of Uncle Grimmly.
Wardrobe Room
Uncle Grimmly is in this room. He floats in front of the mirror, saying that people find him old and cranky and people are afraid of him. When Luigi's not looking, he'll say "Booooo!" When he does that, shine the light on him and vacuum. Defeating him will make a chest appear with the key to the Breaker Room.
Breaker Room
Once in the Breaker Room, throw the switch on the back wall to make the lights come on again. The Toads will reappear, as well as the Boos. Boo B. Hatch, with 200 HP, is in this room. The chest has a key to the Cellar across the hall.
Cellar
The Cellar is full of shelves, barrels, and dust. The piles of dust regenerate when you leave the room, making this a tedious room to chase Boos into. There are grabbing ghosts, as well as a Speedy Spirit in the shelf on the left wall near the door to the stairs. The shelves have money and hearts. To move further into the room, vacuum up the dust piles. The chest has the key to the room behind the Telephone Room, the Clockwork room. Booripedes is also in here, with 100 HP.
Telephone Room
We haven't cleared all of the ghosts in this room. There are skeletons in the trunks. This makes a chest appear with money. Boomerang, with 300 HP, also appears.
Clockwork Room
This room has several cuckoo clocks, some of which play the mansion theme when you check them out. There are three Clockwork Soldiers standing at attention in the center of the room. Once you activate all of the clocks, the Soldiers will start moving around. Vacuum up the wind-up key on their backs, then vacuum them up. The blue one has the pearls. Booscaster will appear, with 300 HP. Once that's taken care of, go into the center "house" to go up the chimney to the Roof.
Roof
On the roof are some masked ghosts around a fire. After you deal with them, a couple of ice ghosts appear, so use the Fire Element. The chest will appear on top of the left chimney, with a key to the room across from the Telephone Room. Before we go there, we go the the right chimney and drop down into the Sealed Room.
Sealed Room
Like the Hidden Room, this room is gold and sparkly. There are several chests in the room with money, but one chest will release all the ghosts in the room. This room is the room on the second floor with its doors barred. Once all the ghosts are gone, the chest with a key to another room on the second floor appears. Vacuum up the piece of cloth on the back wall to reveal a mirror and check the mirror with the Game Boy Horror to warp to the Foyer. It's the only way out of there.
Sitting Room
The key from the Sealed Room opens the door near the stairs to the third floor. The door is sealed behind us. Water the plants and light the candles to make the ghosts appear. Both elements are in the room, so don't worry if you didn't bring either. There are a few fire ghosts that require the Water Element to defeat. The Boo in the room is Boolivia, with 100 HP. We go into the room to the right.
Guest Room
This room is upside down. The ceiling lights are on the floor and the furniture is on the ceiling. There's a small ghost, named Sue Pea, in the bed, promising not to wet the bed. She says not to try to wake her up. Spray water on her to wake her up, then vacuum. She'll try to run away and will remain upside down for the duration. Once you defeat her, the chest will appear on the ceiling. Leave the room and the whole mansion will shake. Go back inside to find the room right-side up and get the chest with money. Boonita, the Boo, has 100 HP.
Armory
This room is across the hall from the Telephone Room. It has several suits of armor. There are ghosts and money in the trunks. Check out the suits of armor to make the ghosts appear. Check them from the side or behind them to avoid their maces hitting you. There are six ghosts total, including a banana ghost, and a pounding ghost. The chest contains a key to a room in the basement. Catch UnderBoo with 150 HP and go through the door in the back.
Ceramics Studio
There are several vases in here, some with money. Check them all out and a red ghost, Jarvis, appears in one of the vases. He asks our opinion of his jar collection and says we'll have to challenge him to look at them. We'll have to freeze him seven times. Grab the Ice Element coming out of a jar on the right and hit him with ice every time he appears from a jar. I recommend standing in the middle of the room so you can see all the jars at once. If you do not complete the challenge, he warps you out of the room. Once you do complete the challenge, vacuum him up. He'll try throwing vases at you. Once he's defeated, get money and a diamond from the chest, and TamBoorine, with 200 HP.
Pipe Room
This room is in the basement. Leave through the left door of the Cellar and go down to the last door on the left side of the hallway. There are grabbing ghosts in the room. Once the lights come on, the chest will appear behind a waterfall. There's a valve in the room that will shut off the water, but it's on the other side of a river of green stuff. Use the Ice Element in the room to freeze the green river so you can cross it safely. The chest contains a key to the room next door. Get Boofant, with 300 HP.
Cold Storage
This room is filled with ice. The icicles on the ceiling will drop down on you. There's a fire going from a propane lighter in the room. Use the Fire Element from it to light the two sets of firewood in the left corner. After lighting the first one, a ghost frozen in ice appears. He's Sir Weston, and he says he likes the cold. Light the other fire and the ice melts. He says we've made it too hot and sends waves of ice towards us. We have to use fire to melt the ice that reforms around him. Keep moving while thawing him to avoid his attacks. Once the ice melts, vacuum. After you defeat him, get Boolderdash, with 150 HP. The chest contains a key to a room on the third floor. Gadd calls to mention a ghost named Van Gore. Gadd thinks Van Gore's been painting and releasing the smaller ghosts we've been dealing with all over the mansion.
The Artist's Studio
This is the room on the third floor, next to the Safari Room. There are six paintings of the small ghosts we've seen in the mansion. The door is sealed. Van Gore says we're interfering because he gives life to his creations. The paintings come alive one by one, with three of each ghost coming from a single portrait. Once you capture all the ghosts from one painting, another will come to life. Once all six types are taken care of, vacuum Van Gore. After you defeat him, his last painting comes to life: an open chest with the Spade Key, which leads to a room in the basement. Get Bootique, with 300 HP, first, and get a Gold Diamond for catching all the Boos.
Secret Altar
In the basement, at the end of the hallway outside the left door of the Cellar, is a door. It leads to a winding hallway to the Spade door, which is sealed. Opening it leads to the Secret Altar This is the room we saw from the Bottom of the Well. Get money from the lights and pillars to the right. King Boo is admiring his Mario painting. He calls the Mario Bros gullible for checking out the mansion. He enjoys his Mario painting and wants a Luigi painting to match. Unlike the other Boos, he'll fight us. The room spins and the Mario painting turns into a Bowser painting, which inhales Luigi.
Luigi winds up on the roof of the mansion, which is surrounded by flames. Bowser lands on the roof, adjusts his neck, and breathes fire. He can also inhale Luigi, which should be avoided at all costs, because once he spits Luigi out, he'll immediately breathe fire and Luigi can't escape it. Bowser will also make spike balls appear. Pick them up with the vacuum and wait until Bowser lowers his head to breathe fire. That's when you should release the spike ball, which makes Bowser's head come off. King Boo will appear from the neck, revealing that the Bowser is mechanical. Now's the time to vacuum King Boo, who has 500 HP. You can move around while King Boo leaves Bowser, so make sure you know where you are. While you're trying to catch King Boo, the Bowser head will float around, shooting ice at you, so keep moving. King Boo will eventually return to Bowser and the cycle will start again. I recommend going to the other side of the roof once this happens. It's somewhat difficult to vacuum King Boo when he's floating off the roof. Once you drain his HP under 200, the Bowser head will reattach upside down, so Bowser will run around aimlessly. Keep out of his way. This is a difficult battle, so keep at it. I finally drained the last bit of HP from King Boo and it's over. I had 2 HP remaining, so I'm not getting a gold frame on this one by any means. Luigi returns to the Secret Altar and grabs Mario's painting. Mario's fallen asleep. Gadd summons us to the lab. He tells us that everything we've gone through took place in a single night. The mansion was fake, but all the money and treasures we collected were real. We make our portraits and tally our money.
Uncle Grimmly- Gold
Jarvis- Silver
Sue Pea- Bronze
Sir Weston- Bronze
Clockwork Soldiers- Silver
Vincent Van Gore- Silver
King Boo- Bronze
23 Ghosts Total
50/50 Boos Caught
83,720,000 G Collected
Gadd puts Mario's painting in the machine and runs it in reverse. Mario gets stuck in the machine and comes out dizzy. Luigi finds this hilarious. We're done here! Roll Credits!
At the end of the credits, it is revealed that Gadd used the money Luigi collected to build him a mansion. Depending on how much you collected will determine the size of the mansion and the rank you get. I got a large, Rank B mansion. I'll take it!

Luigi's Mansion: Area 3
Now that we have the Club Key, we can go further into the mansion. The Club Door is in the very back of the mansion, near the bathroom. It leads to the Courtyard.
Courtyard
There are several plants, a fountain, some statues, and a well. Watering the plants will give you an emerald and money. As we approach the center of the Courtyard, we hear Mario's voice saying, "Help me!" from far away. Vacuum the statues for some money and check the birdhouse for Mario's Letter. There are ghosts that dangle from branches and pink blob ghosts that appear from the ground. To the right is a tool shed with a crying Toad. The door will hit you as it opens, so open it from the side. The Toad says there's something terrible in the well. The well is in the center of the Courtyard and has a ladder leading to the bottom.
Bottom of the Well
There isn't much water at the bottom of the well, but there is a short path. It leads to a lit area. Luigi looks through the mouth of a lion statue into a well-lit room. Mario is in a painting on the wall, saying, "Get me outta here!" Luigi is frightened and looks away. If Luigi goes back, he can see King Boo looking at the painting. Back near the ladder is one dangling ghost. Vacuum it up to turn the light on and make a key appear.
Courtyard
We talk to Toad again. He wonders how the Boos could do that to Mario and he lost it. He ran around the mansion looking for a hiding place and noticed Mario left some things lying around the mansion. He didn't pick up anything, nor remembers where he saw them, but knows there were five items in total: Mario's Hat, Glove, Shoe, Letter, and Star. We tell Toad we'll find them and he'll save our game. We clear out the ghosts to make the lights come on and get a chest with money. The key from the Well leads to the door on the right that leads back into the mansion.
Rec Room
This room is full of exercise equipment, where a ghost named Biff Atlas is working out. He says he's buff and wonders if Luigi would like to be his punching bag. There are three punching bags surrounding him, so we hit him three times with the punching bags, dodging the backswing. After the second hit, he'll start moving around, flailing his arms. After the third hit, we can vacuum him up. This can be a little difficult with the many obstacles in the room. Once we defeat him, a chest with money will appear. The Boo in the room is Booregard, with 100 HP. We can leave through thte door in the front of the room. The door to the left is locked and leads to Area 2. To the right is a set of stairs leading to the second floor. One of the doors is on fire. Extinguish it so you can enter the Tea Room.
Tea Room
The Tea Room has two long tables. There are some grabbing ghosts in the room. Behind the left table is a piece of cheese hiding a Gold Mouse, which has a ruby. There are special panels on the floor and ceiling which allow Luigi to walk on the ceiling. Once the ghosts are gone, a large white chest will appear on the table, so flip onto the ceiling and flip down onto the table. The chest contains the Ice Element Medal. Gadd tells us we can find Ice Elemental Ghosts in cold places, like the refrigerator. The medal also allows us to shoot balls of ice. We can use ice on water ghosts to make their hearts appear. We also find Mr. Boojangles, with 50 HP. We leave the room and go through another door to a hallway. The vases have money. There are electric ghosts that appear from the walls that explode, so avoid them. All the doors on the left side of the hallway are open, so we go into the Washroom.
Washroom (Second Floor)
The toilet in this room has a leaky tank, so we can get the water element. We'll need to use it on the ghost in the toilet. The lights come on and a chest with money appears.
Bathroom (Second Floor)
In this bathroom, there's a ghost named Miss Petunia taking a bath in the tub. She says she enjoys the hot shower. We add ice to the tub and she sneezes. We can now vacuum her up. Try to keep her away from the tub as pearls can get stuck behind it. The chest has a key to a door on the first floor. Before we go there, we'll check out the room across the hall.
Nana's Room
There's a knitting grandmother ghost named Nana in the rocking chair. She wonders if she should play with Luigi. The chest of drawers on the right and the chandelier have money. Tap the table near Nana to make her balls of yarn fall on the floor. We have to pick up each ball of yarn and hit her with it. She starts moving around the room once the balls of yarn are on the floor. We can vacuum her up after hitting her with the three balls of yarn. The chest has a key to a door on the second floor. The Boo LimBooger appears after we defeat Nana. He has 100 HP. We have two keys to use, so we'll go to the room on the second floor.
Astral Hall
In the center of the room is a star-shaped platform surrounded by candles. We must light the candles to go to the next room. Once the candles are lit, their flames turn purple, ghosts appear, and the door to the hallway is covered in thorns. The ghosts have spears and masks, just as in the ballroom. Grabbing ghosts appear after you get the masked ghosts. Once the lights are on, get money from the chandelier and cabinet, as well as the Boo Boonswoggle, with 100 HP. The Boos have much more health now. Go through the door on the right to the Observatory.
Observatory
There is a telescope in the room. Luigi looks through it into space and sees the moon. The walls of the room seem to disappear and falling stars appear "outside". Pick one up with the vacuum and shoot at the moon from the edge of the room. It lights up and explodes, creating a celestial path to Mario's Star. We go downstairs to the locked door on the first floor.
Billiards Room
In the Billiards Room, there's a ghost named Slim Bankshot shooting billiard balls all over the room. He asks if Luigi wants some of this. Vacuum up a billiard ball and hit him so you can vacuum him. Once defeated, open the chest, which contains money and a diamond. Chase down Boo Hoo with 50 HP and go into the room on the right.
Projection Room
There's a large screen on the wall and a projector on a table near the front wall. The cabinet has money. We have to turn on the projector to make the ghosts appear. That didn't quite work the first time I went in the room, so I tried vacuuming the screen. It wouldn't let go, so I let it go, revealing an image of Boo saying, "Get out of here!" I left and returned, and the projector started working. There are around six grabbing ghosts in the room. Once we defeat them, a red chest with Mario's Glove appears. ShamBoo's in the room with 50 HP. We head upstairs.
The Twins' Room
The room has a set of bunk beds and lots of toys. We spin the mobile on the ceiling with the vacuum and the twins Orville and Henry appear. They want to play hide and seek, so we leave the room while they hide. They'll say when they're ready. There will be several boxes in the room. We have to find which ones they're hiding in. If we mess up once, we have to leave while they hide again. Once you find both of them, they'll say you cheated and grab their toys. One will fly on an airplane and the other will ride a car and they'll both attack you. Vacuum up their toys, then vacuum them up. They each have 100 HP. Once you get rid of them, a red chest with Mario's Shoe will appear. Booris is also in the room with 100 HP. Now that we have all of Mario's items, we go to a room in the first floor.
Fortune Teller's Room
We shine the flashlight on the crystal ball to make the resident fortune teller, Madame Clairvoya appear. Talking to her reveals that she can give us insight on what is happening using Mario's items. With the Glove, she can tell us that Mario is still alive, but is neither completely with the living nor in the spirit world. The Shoe tells her that Mario is imprisoned in a painting at an altar. The Letter tells her that Luigi should look out for Boos and beware of King Boo. King Boo wears a crown and caught Mario. The Star tells her that the Boos have strength in numbers, but fear the Poltergust 3000. Nothing we didn't already know. The Hat shows her an image of Bowser. She thinks King Boo may have revived him. That's interesting information. She can now return to her painting satisfied. Now is the time to vacuum her, but treat this as a regular portrait ghost battle as she can escape. The chest has a key to a door on the third floor. To get to the third floor, go up the stairs near the Rec Room, go past the Tea Room and towards the front of the mansion where the hallway splits. When the hallway splits again, go to the right to reach the stairs. There are two doors, but only the front one is real.
Safari Room
Get the ice element before entering. This room has animal pelts, trophies and crates. There's a piece of cheese by the crates. There are water ghosts that need the ice element to show their hearts. Other ghosts include the banana ghosts. The chest key has a key on this floor to the outside. Catch Little Boo Peep with 100 HP, then leave the room through the left door and go to the very end of the hallway.
Balcony
The Balcony is very large. There are several plants near the railing and some Boos spinning in a circle in the center. They say that we've made it this far. It's their turn now to assume their true form. They disappear and circle Luigi and form a giant Boo, Boolossus. Boolossus bounces around. We can hold Boolossus in the vortex of the vacuum, then lead it over to one of the two statues of unicorns. The horns will pop Boolossus into the fifteen Boos that made it. Grab the ice element and ice the Boos overhead. They will avoid you when you use the ice, but you can get some of them. Once they drop to the ground, immediately vacuum them up or they'll thaw and fly around again. The Boos will reform Boolossus, who'll get smaller as you vacuum up more Boos. At the end of the ordeal, I had 35 HP left, as the Boos dive to attack you when you're not using ice. A large gold chest appears with the blue Diamond Key. Gadd calls us to the lab.
We make our portraits and count our money:
Madame Clairvoya- Gold
Biff Atlas- Silver
Nana- Gold
Miss Petunia- Gold
Slim Bankshot- Silver
Hnery and Orville- Silver
Boolossus- Bronze
Total 16 Ghosts
43,945,000G collected
35/50 Boos caught
End Area 3
Not bad. I got a bronze frame on Boolossus, but that's understandable when you're being attacked by fifteen Boos at once. There's only one area left.
