Our raft ride ends at the ruins. Go to the right, in front of the ruins, to find another raft. Hit the post to release the raft to the other side. The item block here has a Megaflash Eekhammer. The ruins have lots of pushing walls to push you off places. Go in through either door you can reach. Paperize inside the ruins to find a scrap peeling off. Replace it after it flips around so you can reach another door. Inside is a Flashy Jump over a trap door. Go to the right for a Shiny Clone Jump. Peel the Flashy Jump from the side.. Next are saw blades. Move with caution. Release the saws by hitting the stake with the hammer. There's a door drawn above. Go to the right, then down the stairs, and through the doorway for a couple of hearts and two Baahammers and a Chillhammer. Go back up the stairs and hit the three invisible blocks to the left of the Shiny POW Block. This will allow you to ride on top of the saws to the Secret Door. The Secret Door leads to a room with a breeze. Hit the back wall a few times to make the Air Conditioner drop down.
Ride the next saw to reach a doorway to the outside. Peel the Bowser tape below and get the six stickers in the two item blocks. Keep going to the right and hit the wall to knock it down so you can reach the Heart Block. To the right are more pushing walls over a pit of Spike Tops. Before going through the doorway on the other side, hit the three invisible blocks under the Big Baahammer.
Inside, drop down and peel off the Bowser tape to reveal a set of stairs. There's something missing to the left, so we head to the right. Go under the walkway and to the left for a hidden pipe. It leads to a room with Megaflash Hopslipper, Megaflash Hurlhammer, and Megaflash Baahammer. Once you return to the room, hop on top of the pushing walls to reach the other side. Beware of the trap doors near the wall. In the next room, peel off the scrap with eyes and replace it. This will allow you to reach the doorway as the pushing wall will be higher up now. Go outside to get the Ruin Floor scrap. Hit the wall panel nearby for the D-Cell Battery.
Go back inside and replace the scrap near the saw. Hit the panel under the saws for a trap door. There are two Hammer Bros at the top of the stairs. Quickly hop on top of the pushing walls and ride the saw to the Flashy Infinijump. Through the doorway to the outside is a Save Block and two waterfalls. Approach the right waterfall and use your hammer in the gap for three invisible blocks. Go into the dark spot in the waterfall for the Teapot. Hit the stake to drop the bridge across the waterfall. Across the waterfall at the top of the stairs is a giant Chomp.
Hit its state and approach it to start the battle with a Battle Spin. The Big Chain Chomp has 99 HP and is asleep. Nothing will harm it, so just use weak stickers you don't want until it wakes up and it will run off, then knock down the wall, revealing the comet piece. This opens the path to 5-5.

New Super Mario Bros. 2: 5-4
This level features mushroom platforms that rise or lower when you step on them. Blue ones lower and pink ones rise. Staying on them until they stop moving may make coins appear. After three blue mushrooms in a row is a Gold Ring. Kick the shell and raise and lower the mushrooms for lots of coins. Follow the shell and it should get the first Star Coin over a gap. The middle brick block to the left has the potential to become a Gold Block. Go over alternating pink and blue mushrooms with a random coin block. Stand on the last pink one for a while and it will take you to Coin Heaven. This is where the second Star Coin is. The pipe will take you to the midpoint. Next are some Red Coins over some mushrooms. The brick block to the right can become a Gold Block. The third Star Coin is below two blue mushrooms, so grab a shell and throw it to get it. After that, hop on three blue mushrooms, then bounce off the Parakoopas to reach the flag.

New Super Mario Bros.: 5-4
This is a tricky automatic sidescroller. We have to deal with two kinds of special mushroom platforms. The yellow ones bring you down and the red ones raise you up when you step on them. They will return to their original position when you jump off. Making you life even more difficult are the Bullet Bills that fire off screen at your current position. If you're up for the challenge, try to collect the Red Coins. Immediately afterward, jump up high from the last mushroom to reach the first Star Coin and possibly the second if you're Mini Mario. If not, jump back down and quickly go around to the right, go up, and back left to get it. Use a shell if you need to. Just past there is the midpoint. You can get a 1-up with a shell here. Next are more red and yellow mushrooms. You'll find a red mushroom by itself at the end of that set of mushrooms. The third Star Coin is there. You can try to quickly get it or use a shell. After that are more red and yellow mushrooms to the flagpole. Be warned that the last two are yellow.

Super Mario 3D Land: 5-4
This level is crawling with Monty Moles. We have to stomp them twice to kill them. An Underground remix plays. We climb up and duck to reach the second Star Coin. We backtrack on a higher path and find the first Star Coin by hitting invisible blocks and jumping to it. We get it a Fire Flower, but it still takes two fireballs to kill the larger Monty Moles. We return to the midpoint and drop down. We go into the green pipe occupied by a Rocky Wrench for coins and a clock. We duck into an arrow past the three Monty Moles in a row for a clock and the third Star Coin. We take the second green pipe to the right to reach the flagpole.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii 5-4 QSC
I got the 2nd Star Coin by using the POW block near where the 2nd Piranha plant falls from the sky. The Star Coin will fall on top of the raft if you don't use the POW block too early or too late. I got the 3rd Star Coin by having a Bob-omb blow up the gray blocks underneath the pipe at the end and falling onto the Star Coin when the raft is underneath it. I jumped back up, went through the pipe and reached the goal.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii: 5-4 -- Purple Water Rafting
This level seems normal enough. I got a Super Shroom from an invisible block. After going through a pipe, I land on a raft. I get an Ice Flower and kill off some Koopas with a frozen Koopa. I miss the 1st Star Coin. I hear a ding and the raft stops. The circles on the raft are red and have the number 5 in them. Five or more enemies will stop the raft, (the number will not go higher than 5), allowing you to get a lot of coins or 1-ups depending on how you defeat them. I got a Fire Flower and killed off most of the enemies, but lost it to a Goomba. I get an Ice Flower and kill of the Micro Goombas. They appear on their own, but behave the same way as in Super Mario World 3, which means they hover around you, impeding your ability to jump. Spinning will get rid of them. I lose my Fire Flower to a Bob-omb and my Super Shroom to a Piranha Plant. All of the enemies are falling from the sky. I die from a Bob-omb.
Take 2- I get a Super Shroom and an Ice Flower. I got the 1st Star Coin from stepping on a frozen Koopa. I lose both of my items to a Goomba and a Koopa. The raft stopped several times because it is easy to let the enemy count get out of control. Thankfully, every item block has a power-up. I cleared the raft with Koopa shells. I got a Super Shroom and lost it to a Micro Goomba. I die from using a Pow Block, which activated and detonated a nearby Bob-omb.
Before Take 3, I played some games to get some items. I got a Penguin Suit, a Starman, and a Mini Shroom, 3 Super Shrooms, and 5 1-ups. I then returned to 1-1 where I got the 2nd Star Coin there. (Now that I have all of that level's Star Coins, I got some more applause.)
Take 3- I used a Super Shroom and get a Fire Flower and the 1st Star Coin. I lose the Fire Flower to a Koopa, get an Ice Flower, and lose it to a Piranha Plant. I get a 100-coin 1-up and die from a Bob-omb. This level is difficult because it is easy to lose control of the enemies on the raft, and the water is purple, but fortunately every item block on the raft part of the level is a power-up. I also like the music in this world.
Take 4- Use Super Shroom, get Ice Flower. Got and lost both a Fire Flower and an Ice Flower to a Goomba and a Koopa. I got another Ice Flower and lost it to a Piranha Plant. I kill that Piranha Plant as well as a giant one with a frozen Koopa. I die from a Bob-omb.
Take 5- Use Super Shroom and get Ice Flower. I got the 1st Coin and a Fire Flower, which I lost to a Bob-omb. I missed the 2nd Star Coin. There are lots of enemies falling down from the sky near the pipe. I lost the Ice Flower, which I left sitting on the raft until I needed it, but lost it and my Super Shroom to a giant Piranha Plant. I get to the pipe and reach the goal.
