Sky Station Galaxy - Peewee Piranha's Temper Tantrum

Sky Station located. You're a natural, Mario. -Transmission 3

Welcome back to the galaxy!

The star select music for this level sounds like a dark remix of the Red Star music from the prequel. Mario lands on a green disc of a planet, with a remix of the trailer music. There is a house with Yoshi's picture and a knocker on the door. A nearby sign by Yoshi says to go around back. Mario can't go to the planet's underside due to the fence around the middle. Mario went down an orange pipe, which takes him to the other side of the planet, in a cage with a 1-up Mushroom. After going down the nearby green pipe on the first side, Mario can now move about the other side of the planet. There are green and yellow TV screens that provide tips. The crystals are more opaque and don't show the Star Bits they contain. Mario was hit a couple of times by some Goombas. After freeing a Luma trapped in crystal, Mario warped to the top of Yoshi's house. There is a sign saying that Yoshi is out and is sorry he missed anybody trying to visit him. The Luma transformed into a Launch Star and launched us to the next planet.

Mario nearly fell into the Black Hole by walking on the edge. Another Luma appears to guide you through the planet. Mario reached the midpoint flag, which looks like those in New Super Mario Bros. Wii, except they feel somewhat out of place in this game. However, it's nice to know where the checkpoints are and they are much more plentiful per star. I got 2 out of 3 1-up Mushrooms for collecting Musical Notes. I found a blue disc off to the side of a platform. Spinning on it warps Mario to a Bonus Area where Mario must kill all of the enemies and collect his prize of 3 1-up Shrooms before the music runs out and he automatically warps back to where he was. The disk will turn brown afterwards and Mario cannot return. In this one, Mario gets to use the Rainbow Star to kill all Octoombas for 3 1-ups. After that, Mario continues to follow the Luma where it transforms into a Launch Star and launches Mario to another planet.

This planet has Paragoombas and rolling carts around a cylindrical planet. It is not perfectly cylindrical and the carts can push Mario into the Black Holes if he is not careful. However, if he rides the first one around, he will come across a 1-up Shroom and a Comet Medal on the second one. Collecting Comet Medals makes comets appear. After taking a hit from and defeating an Octoomba, the guiding Luma transforms into a Launch Star, saying that there is a monster up ahead.

Mario gets another 1-up for collecting 100 Star Bits and finds a Life Shroom to increase his health to 6 points instead of 3. In the distance, Mario sees a planet surrounded by cracked egg shells. The Luma on Mario's current planet says it can see starlight from here. Behind it, off the ledge, is another 1-up Shroom, bringing Mario's life count to 15 (They're really generous with the lives). The Luma launches Mario after transforming, and Mario lands on a Dino Piranha Egg.

The egg cracks to reveal a Dino Piranha, who wears a shell like a diaper. Using the spin ability, Mario cracks away at the shell. 2 or 3 spins cracks the shell, and Peewee Piranha's bottom is revealed, red like Bowser's flaming tail, like he has diaper rash. Mario spins to hit it and Peewee turns red and his shell reforms. Mario accidently touches Peewee and takes damage. After breaking the shell and spinning to hit Peewee, Peewee explodes, leaving a Power Star behind. (Wait! This is a regular star, not a Grand Star!) The same star appearance music plays. Before getting the Star, Mario grabs the Star Bits trapped in crystal. When Mario gets the Star, a remix of the music from the prequel plays. This time around, Mario says Wahoo!
