Battle Belt Galaxy - Green Star 3

Welcome Back to the Galaxy!
This Star is over the last cage in the galaxy- on the Silver Chomp planet. I got a 1-up and took damage from Boos, an Ice Demon, and a fly. I backflipped to get the Star. This is a Type 1 Star.

Rolling Masterpiece Galaxy - Green Star 2

Welcome Back to the Galaxy!
I launched twice to the midgate. I rolled off near the Chomp, but saw the Star on the upper left edge of the planet.
Take 2- I missed the Star and rolled off.
Take 3- I rolled and jumped to the Star to get it. This is a Type 1 Star.

Rolling Masterpiece Galaxy - Masterpiece Speed Run

Welcome Back to the Galaxy!
I did not like this Star. I think this particular Speed Run suffers from poor level design. We have 2 minutes to go through the level, but, although the clock stops for brief cutscenes, the timer ticks down as we launch, costing us several precious seconds. Considering we launch at least 4 times and each launch takes around 5 seconds, we lose a significant percentage of the time, which we need to defeat the Silver Chomp. I also did not realize that when I got the key, I could just roll through, instead of backing up, costing me several more seconds. My ability to complete this Star was also based on Bob-omb placement. They took out the wooden area with saws and replaced it with a grass planet with Bob-ombs, who move around. The planet is full of holes, so your ability to reach the launch area depends on their placement because they will explode on contact, which could knock you into the holes. On some of my tries, I would defeat the Chomp, but run out of time before being able to roll to the basin. On other tries, I would roll into the basin at the very last second, the Star appeared, and I died. The clock didn't stop! Fortunately, after 35 takes, I figured out what needed to happen and got lucky enough to get the Star with 15 seconds to spare on Take 36. The Silver Chomp will follow you, so it's a good idea to get it close to the edge and repeatedly bump it. The Chomp is very stubborn and will hold on with everything it has, even when you think it should have fallen off. Thankfully, this Star is mine.

Battle Belt Galaxy - Mini-Planet Daredevil Run

Welcome Back to the Galaxy!
Great! Just what I don't need. I die from a lava demon.
Take 2- I walked into lava.
Take 3- I got a 1-up from the blue crab. We launch to a yellow Starshroom with Yellow Toad asleep on the table. I trip the midgate and die from a Boo. At least these Daredevil runs come with midpoints so we don't have to start from the beginning.
Take 4- I reach the 2nd midgate on the red Starshroom. I am killed by a Chomp.
Take 5- I die from a mole.
Take 6- I finally kill all of the Chomps and get the Star.

Battle Belt Galaxy - Mini-Planet Mega-Run

Welcome Back to the Galaxy!
That's a nice, descriptive name for a mission. I get up to the ice planet like in "Snacktime for Gobblegut", taking 4 hits, and getting a 1-up, but kill ice demons on the planet. I sling to a green-brown planet with moles and a green pipe locked in a cage. I take out the Rocky Wrenches and release the green pipe. I am warped into the planet where I hear the Beat Block music. It's a 2D antfarm with gravity arrows and flies. I must take out the flies when their spike is covered. After releasing the Sling Star, we sling to a planet with four Silver Chomps and sling plants. Not this guy again! He's annoying! Taking them out is easier because they will follow us, so we can lure them close to a sling plant and take them out. Once all four are gone, we get a key to the cage the Star is in.

We get mail from Jibberjay, saying there is a race in Fleet Glide. Oh no. That's not going to happen any time soon. I haven't won the race in Wild Glide yet.

Slipsand Galaxy - Sailing the Sandy Seas

Welcome Back to the Galaxy!
We land back in Slipsand on the sand tube. There are moving platforms on the sand tube. I get a Life Shroom and take 2 hits from Dry Bones. There is a green pipe on the rock that breaks up the 2 areas of sand. It is a 2D ant farm, where I hit a fire bar and lose the Life Shroom. In this area, there are gravity arrows that rotate around and follow you, so whichever surface you walk on, you can stand there. I take two more hits, but recover with coins. I leave through an orange pipe, but I think I'm in the same place I started, but I'm not. I go through the green pipe again, because I can't get past the sand. I get across the platforms and launch.
We land on a small platform with signs sticking out of the sand with skulls and crossbones. This is the instantly lethal quicksand, and yet the signs don't get pulled down. A sign says not to fall in. I trip the midgate and approach the Legendary Sand Bird! This one is smaller than in Sunshine. We step on it and it glows, and moves forward across the quicksand. We approach a cactus, but instead of turning away, it runs straight through it, the section taken out by the cactus. We simply have to look ahead and move to an area that won't be taken out by a cactus. We then find out that the Legendary Sand Bird has phoenix powers, and will slowly reform. We also encounter Magikoopas, whose magic will destroy the Sand Bird in mainly diagonal lines. We take a hit from the magic, but stay on. We get a 1-up past the Magikoopas and the Sand Bird moves faster. The Silver Chomp returns, periodically rolling into the Sand Bird, removing large chunks at a time. When our journey finally ends, we reach the Star.

Interlude
A hungry Luma wants 1500 Star Bits. After making a withdrawal from our friendly Banktoad, we feed it and it henshins into Fleet Glide Galaxy.

Rolling Masterpiece Galaxy - Silver Chomp Grudge Match

Welcome Back to the Galaxy!
We begin one of a few Star-rolling missions. We see the Star right in front of us. Unfortunately, it is trapped in a clear ball. We can't get it out, but we can walk on the ball circus-style. Bill Board gives us the same instructions in Galaxy- we need to tilt the Wiimote to make Mario start walking. The same music from Galaxy plays. These levels are interesting- it is easy to fall off, but we are essentially invincible because the ball will roll over any enemy and squish it. We roll up to the edge of the planet and find a hole that will blast us to the next planet. It is a spherical planet with lots of paintbrushes sticking out of it. The blaster is covered up by a cage that requires a key to open. The key is nearby in the blue area. I got lost after the cutscene reverted back to me. I realized that all I had to do is immediately backpedal. We find our way back and blast off. We find the path forming blocks from Space Junk Galaxy, which makes our lives difficult- we have to immediately veer to the left to a narrow platform without falling off with a worse ability to brake than Luigi. We get a 1-up and get on a rising platform with Goombas. We rise to 6 Flip-switches in a pyramid arrangement. I fell off here.
Take 2- I cleared the switches, but rolled off.
Take 3- I cleared the switches and a clear ruler appeared to guide us to the next planet with the blaster. We land on a wood planet with saws. I got the Comet Medal here and made it to the end of the planet, with another clear ruler to guide us to a checkerboard planet. When we land, a Silver Chomp with red eyes appears from a hole. Silver is a good sign, to we roll around, trying to bump into it and knock it off the level. After a while, we finally knock it off the level. Another clear ruler appears and we guide the ball into the blaster, which breaks the ball and releases the Star. It flies to the top of the flagpole, where we get it.
Star Get #33, 19 Comet Medals, 283 Star Bits, 856 Coins, 6 Lives
Interlude
Young Master Luma got a letter. He grabs Mario's hat and starts spinning above his head. It is a white letter with light blue and salmon stripes. We hear Rosalina's laugh in the background. Whoever wrote the letter is worrying about him, but knows he is safe with us. May the stars shine down on him. There was an item attach- 50 Star Bits. There was no return address and Pink Toad wants to meet this mysterious person soon.
That was a good session- 9 Stars! I have 94 Stars currently.
