There is an item block to the left next to the wall of brick blocks. Get the powerup quickly if you need it, as a Banzai Bill will break through the wall very soon. Jump on the brick blocks to the right and keep going. Jump from the brick blocks to reach the third Star Coin before the Banzai Bill destroys the blocks. Keep going to the right to the boss door. Water pillars will appear in Larry's Airship, making stomping him and dodging his attacks a little more difficult. Stomp him three times to win. This opens the path to the Airship in the Soda Jungle. New Super Mario Bros. U: Sparkling Waters- Leaf -- Skyward Stalk

Zelda reference aside, this is a simple, but somewhat challenging level. A beanstalk appears and leaves grow out of it. They turn brown, wither, and fall off. Hop up the leaves and you'll go to the main level, which automatically scrolls up. The beanstalk grows taller, making leaves that will fall, so keep climbing up. Flying squirrels are all over the place. There's a Red Coin Ring in case you need a power-up. The Acorn Mushroom is very helpful. The first Star Coin is on the left side, over a curling vine. You can stand on the vine when it's curled up. Also on the left side is a pipe that spews coins. Above it is a platform shrouded by the clouds. The second Star Coin is here. Periodically, Goombas attached to balloons will appear from the bottom of the screen. The third Star Coin is high above a pipe on the right side. You can either try using the balloons from the Goombas to reach it or cling to the wall as a flying squirrel, then return to the beanstalk. It won't be long before you reach the top. Take the pipe to the flagpole, using another beanstalk's leaves to reach it. This opens the path to the Rock-Candy Mines.

New Super Mario Bros. U: Sparkling Waters- Ghost House -- Haunted Shipwreck

This shipwreck is crawling with Boos, Fishbones, and item blocks that try to attack you. They will hit you if you stand still and can go into the water. They'll break if they hit something. If you need an item, go across the water and into the first wall. You'll have to jump up to enter that part of the wall, and there's a Boo there. Take the floating crates up and to the right. The door in the invisible area to the left is fake. Next is a series of poles. From the third pole, you may need to wait a while before a giant floating crate comes by. It will take you to the other side. You'll see a door. Drop a little below the floor for the first Star Coin, then go through the door. The door leads to a room with Fishbones and rings of Boos. Over the third Boo ring is the second Star Coin. Wall jump off the wooden boards to get it. At the far right wall, out of the water, is an invisible area with a door. It leads a room with a large wall, but that wall hides several areas that make a path. The third Star Coin is directly above the door, so go a little to the right to reach higher ground, then run and jump to the left to get it. A couple of places at water level have item blocks with power-ups. Be aware that there are a couple of Boos in the area. There are two paths out of here. Go all the way to the right and you'll see a door. It's fake, but there's an invisible block over it. Jump into the ceiling to find a hidden door. It leads to an empty room. Go left for a pipe to the regular flagpole. This opens the path to Sparkling Waters -3 and -4, as well as Pink Baby Yoshi. The other way out of here is about halfway between the third Star Coin and the door at the far right. As you go through the wall, you'll see a sign pointing to the right. Just left of it is a narrow gap. Wall jump up and to the left for a hidden door. This leads to a room with coins and a red pipe. You can see the green pipe to the regular goal on the other side of the wall. The red pipe leads to the red goal. This opens the path to Sparkling Waters-Leaf.

The first Star Coin is in the left alcove of the first spike pillar. In the alcove of the second spike pillar is a Red Coin Ring. The second Star Coins are near the Red Coins. Go up past the Dry Bones to more spike pillars. There are platforms amongst spike pilllars. Go to the right ledge for some blocks to reach the high platform. Near the top of this section of the tower is a green pipe. On the left side of the wall is the face of Bowser Jr., near a giant Dry Bones. Behind the face is an invisible area with a red pipe. Both pipes lead to the midpoint, but the red pipe lets you access a P-Switch that makes Silver Coins. This area also has spike pillars. Over the next one you see is the third Star Coin, so be careful getting it. You'll want to stay away from the note blocks until you're ready to jump. Hit the note blocks from below for coins and items. On the second level in an invisible area is a POW Block. It can help you get the Star Coin. At the top is the boss door.  Kamek uses his magic to make Boom Boom jump higher in the arena, which has a little water in it. Stomp him as usual. The path to the Ghost House opens up. Farther away, Peach's Castle is surrounded by a vortex. Peach calls for help.

New Super Mario Bros. U: Sparkling Waters-2 -- Tropical Refresher

This level starts outside, but you'll take the pipe to an underwater level. There are Cheep-Cheep and Bloopers here, as well as Urchins. Many of the pipes have currents, and some of the pipes move. Arcs of coins appear from some red pipes, then disappear. Under the first Urchin is a Red Coin Ring in an invisible area. The first Star Coin appears along a set of three pipes. It will appear along the pipes, then disappear into the void, then reappear. Past the giant Urchin is the midpoint. There are two giant Urchins over a vortex with a rock in it. Between them is an invisible ? Switch which makes coins appear from above, including the second Star Coin. There's a green pipe under an Urchin, which leads to a Starman. Quickly return to the main level and go down the next green pipe. While you still have the power, drop down and kill the giant Urchin. Below it is the third Star Coin over a vortex. Follow the Cheep-Cheep to the pipe to the flagpole. This opens the path to a 1-up Mushroom House and the Fort.

Sparkling Waters is a tropical beach world. This level features waterspouts, which are similar to the pillars of sand in Layer-Cake Desert. Also in the level are crabs that throw rocks. Go under the first waterspout and to the right for some coins. Dodge the Cheep-Cheep and Piranhas in the level. There are three waterspouts next to each other. Use them to reach the first Star Coin. Get the Ice Flower and use it to freeze a crab, which you can throw at a waterspout to get the second Star Coin. Alternatively, you can run and jump to get it while the waterspout is rising. Soon after, you'll find a Red Coin Ring. The Red Coins will appear down the path of the waterspouts. The midpoint is nearby. There is a pipe between two waterspouts, which leads to an underwater area. The coins appear in bubbles and there's a 1-up in the clam. Once you return to the main level, look for a POW Block. Use it to make the third Star Coin appear over a waterspout. Use the waterspouts to platform over the Piranha Plant to the flagpole. This opens the path to Sparkling Waters-2.
