I couldn't find the secret goal to 2-1, so I decided to move on. Aside from some stickers and Spinies, there's not much in the first area, besides the green pipe, which takes you directly to the Sphinx. There's something gold and shiny on the Sphinx's tongue. Above where we arrive, there are three Sombrero guys with different instruments. The Sphinx is covered in stickers. Around back is an HP-Up Heart we can't quite reach. There's also a door drawn on the back. The Secret Door leads to the Paper Fan. We go inside through doorway in the back. In here are a Dry Bones and two Hammer Bros. There are stickers on the floor. There's nowhere else to go, so we go back outside.
We walk up the steps to the door under the head of the Sphinx. The first room is empty, with only a pile of bones. Hit the unlit torch to light it and the bones assemble into a Dry Bones. The next room is completely empty. Hitting the torches to extinguish them reveals light coming through the back wall. Hit the wall to make a doorway appear. This leads to a room with enemies and stickers. The room to the right has two doors to the outside. They both lead to stairs, one of which deceptively appears to lead to the comet piece. Peel the Bowser tape in the room to reveal a Heart Block. Two rooms to the left is a Sombrero Guy on a balcony where you found the Hammer Bros. Back in the room with the green Pokey, go to the back wall and through the door on the right. This leads to a dark path where there's a door at the top of the stairs. This is the door in the Spinx's tail and leads outside.
Once outside, someone says, "Target acquired..." Not good. Mario looks up to the sky and sees three Paratroopas overhead. One says, "Repeat, target acquired. Shell Shock One has visual. Over." Another says we appear well fortified. The third wants to light us up. They dive-bomb Mario to start the battle. They each have 14 HP. Aside from a flying attack, they're not too difficult to deal with. Peeling the Bowser tape on the Spinx's back will finish the stairs to the comet piece. Going outside to where the stairs are, we drop down to where the Sombrero Guys are. We walk up to them to engage them in battle.
They are Maraca Guy, Sombrero Guy, and Accordion Guy, each with 15 HP. They can play their instruments, then fling their sombreros at you simultaneously for 15 damage. Accordion Guy can heal his teammates. After the battle, we go onto the back of the Sphinx and drop down to reach the HP-Up Heart. Ignoring the comet piece, we go through the doorway on the Sphinx's neck. The room has a couple of Dry Bones and a couple of normal torches. One of them is suspicious, so we hit it from below and get the Lightbulb. Go upstairs and keep going right. Hit the left wall to knock it over, then hit the panel on the left wall that has light coming through it. These panels lead you out of the eyes and onto the nose. Slide down to the tongue for the treasure. Unfortunately, Kamek is there as well.
Kamek wants us to leave, but we're not going to. He starts the battle and, to spice things up, uses magic on the album and turns stickers into flip-flops. I get triple coins from the Battle Spin. The information on each sticker asks what was the sticker originally? I can't quite remember where I had things, but I have quite a few shiny and flashy stickers. I pick three stickers that aren't shiny. Kamek has 20 HP. Mario slaps Kamek with the sandals multiple times. Kamek can only be slapped when he's low to the ground. I had to use a few shiny stickers, but I beat him. He is impressed with our power and acknowledges that Kersti helps us considerably. He looks forward to meeting us again. Goody. Our stickers return to normal. The chest contains a Tablet Piece, which goes into "Scraps". The tongue retracts and the jaw closes. Now we get the comet piece. The path to 2-3 opens.

New Super Mario Bros. 2: 2-2
We're taking to the skies in this level, which features platform on totem poles high off the ground. There's a Gold Ring to get your coin collecting started. Near the Hammer Bro is the first Star Coin. After the midpoint, you'll find a Red Coin Ring. There's a Boomerang Bro. To the left of the Boomerang Bro, drop down to find a yellow pipe. It will take you to the second Star Coin. Go back up and start climbing up the totem poles. As you ascend, you'll encounter another Hammer Bro, another Boomerang Bro, and a Sumo Bro at the top. The third Star Coin is nearby. Go right for the flag.

New Super Mario Bros.: 2-2
This level features some arcade-style platforms. After a short distance, Lakitu appears to cause chaos with his Spiny eggs. Stomping on him will get rid of him temporarily, but if you kill him with a fireball, his cloud remains and you can hop in and float around for a while. There are coins high above. We can reach Lakitu from some blocks early on. Straight up from that point is the first Star Coin. For the second Star Coin, we need to ground pound some brick blocks between a green anad red pipe. To reach the third, we need to take Lakitu's cloud past the midpoint and follow a trail of coins to a yellow pipe in the sky. This takes us to Coin Heaven, where the third Star Coin is. Hop into a green pipe, which serves as a cannon to reach it. The flagpoile is nearby.

Super Mario 3D Land: 2-2
We find ourselves in an underground level. I found the first Star Coin by dropping down and wall jumping to the rectangular shadow. Alternatively, you can reach it using the green tile bridge. We cross over purple water with another bridge, jumping over the gap. I took the bridge on the left, but tried to turn back and fell in.
Take 2- We go through the green pipe, where coins form "3D". The pipe takes us up near the bridge to the first Star Coin. My jump was short and I fell in.
Take 3- We get the first Star Coin and make it to the midpoint flag. We go up a couple of steps and hop behind the wall for a clock and the second Star Coin. We then take a long bridge out of and back into the building and go through a green pipe. We get a 1-up at the goal.
Take 4- We reach the midpoint, finding out that either bridge to the midpoint will work. We fell in the water.
Take 5- We fell in the water.
Take 6- See Take 5.
Take 7- See Take 5.
Take 8- See Take 5.
Take 9- See Take 5.
Take 10- See Take 5.
Take 11- I found the third Star Coin. Go through the green pipe to the goal. As Tanooki Mario, spin the left wall to destroy some blocks, duck and walk under the wall, and jump to get it.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii: 2-2 QSC
I found the first Star Coin in the long column of quick sand. There is a cavern where the Star Coin is high up between two Spikes. The 2nd Star Coin is in a secret area accessible by vine. I used the POW block to drop it to my level.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii: 2-2 -- Shrinking for Coins
This is part of my replay after my file got hijacked. This isn't technically a replay because I haven't played this level yet. This level has barrels at the beginning of the level. I roll one down the hill to kill some Goombas. There are several spike balls thrown by green creatures called Spikes. I touch one of the spike balls and lose my Fire Flower. I get another. I lose it and my Super Shroom to another spike ball. I could really use a Starman in this level. Most of the time, I can avoid the spike balls by standing on platforms, but staying safe means I won't progress. I get another Super Shroom to a spike ball that rolls up the hill, slows down, and rolls back down the hill. I die from a Spiny. Take 2- I get a Super Shroom and discover that I can stand on the leaves of palm trees. I get the silver coins from a P-switch. I get an Ice Flower and reach a raising platform with Koopas, like in 3-Fort. I reach the midgate and once again lose my Ice Flower and Super Shroom to spike balls. I get a 100-coin 1-up and die on a spike ball. Take 3- I use a Super Shroom and get an Ice Flower. All this time, I haven't seen a single Star Coin. I find a pipe after a level of spike balls. I get a Mini Shroom and lots of coins here. Once I leave the level, I find a Mini Mario sized pipe. There is a Star Coin here. I use the P-switch to get all the silver coins, which results in applause. The Star Coin is the last one. I exit the pipe and reach the goal. Mario says "Oh yeah, Mario time!" in a helium voice.
