Super Mario 3D World: Flower-6 -- Shiftier Boo Mansion

This ghost house is desaturated, in that most of the color has been drained away. This ghost house is a bit more complicated. There's a Big Boo to the left, and behind it, in front of the door, is the first Green Star. You'll have to be quick to get it, or use fireballs from the nearby Fire Flower to make it temporarily transparent. To the right, the path splits. Down the stairs is a fake Mystery Box. Up the stairs is a couch. Stand on it and it will take you to a fake 1-up and some clouds. The clouds lead to the second Green Star. Drop down to the door, near a fake 1-up.

The door leads outside to a flagpole. There's a trail of coins leading to it. Three Big Boos will appear. Go past the flagpole and through the door. Inside, take the couch up to a fake pipe. The couch up there will take you over the area with many Boos. There are coin rings along the way. It will stop over some 1-ups. The last one is real. Keep going to the left and you'll find the third Green Star near some Big Boos and the edge of the floor. Quickly grab it and go through the door. The door leads outside to a fake flagpole. Go past it and you'll find another fake flagpole. To the left of this fake flagpole, under the bridge, is a warp box to the real flagpole.

There are no stamps in World Flower.

Super Mario 3D World: Bowser-6 -- A Beam in the Dark

This level is a Ghost House that introduces the Light Box. You'll want Luigi for this level. Shine the light on Boos and ghosts for a long enough time to defeat them. Stand on the circular platforms on the floor to make it move. Shine the light to clear the path ahead of you. To the left is a Luigi switch with the stamp. Get back on the platform and it drops down when a giant Boo appears. You'll land in front of a mirror. The first Green Star appears in the mirror, so walk towards the screen to get it. Up ahead is another circular platform. Ride the platform and hit the POW Blocks for more light for a short time. It will also temporarily stop the Para Dry Bones. There's a Red Coin Ring ahead if you like. At the end of the ride is a door to the midpoint.

Go to the back wall and take the elevator up. This takes you to a hall of Bowser statues. The platform will quickly move forward. There's a gap in the statues on the right side, about halfway. Jump to the right to find a Mystery Box. It will take you to a room with six Boos. Kill all of them with the Light Box to get the second Green Star. Take the door behind you to reach the back wall. There are several doors here. Go through the right door, which takes you to the upper level. Take the middle right door to move forward. Once again you have to ride a platform, but it is broken into more of an hourglass shape. Do your best to survive all of the ghosts and Para Dry Bones without falling off. At the end is a giant Boo guarding the third Green Star. Either kill it with light or lead it away. Go through the door to the right. A platform will drop you right in front of the flagpole.

The stamp is of small Mario tripping and falling.

Super Mario 3D World: 6-2 -- Spooky Seasick Wreck

This Ghost House is a series of boats and piers. Take the warp box to the first boat. All of the boats rock, which may make you dizzy. There are Bullies on the boats. They will try to push you into holes in the boat or off the boat entirely. You can do the same to them and push them with fireballs. Between the boats are tilting platforms with spike bars. Kill the bullies on the second boat to make the first Green Star appear. The warp box at the end of the path will take you inside a boat. There's water in the boat. Ahead, ghosts are circling the stamp. Boos will appear. There's a couple of item blocks ahead. Hit the second item block for a Starman. Near the second ring of ghosts, drop down into the water for the second Green Star. The warp box at the end will take you to the midpoint.

The platform will drop to some tilting platforms. Proceed carefully. The third Green Star is near some Boos. At the end is a boat with Bullies. Grab the item from the invisible block near the center. Kill the Bullies to make the warp box to the flagpole appear. There are tilting platforms and spike bars leading up to the flag.

The stamp is of a Fire Flower.

Super Mario 3D World: 3-3 -- Shifty Boo Mansion

It's time for the first Ghost House. You can see Big Boo outside, peering through the windows. There are lots of Boos here and the floor and furniture move. There are some moving triple item blocks. Use them to reach the triple item block above for a Fire Flower. Fireballs won't defeat the Boos, but they'll become temporarily transparent, allowing you to walk through them. Go up the stairs and you'll see a portrait of a Boo. Jump into the portrait, which has a Mystery Box behind it. It takes you to a rotating room with ghosts. Wait until the room rotates far enough that you can get the first Green Star. Keep going and you'll see a couch. Stand on it and it will float up to the stamp. At the end of the hallway is a door to the library.

The shelves of the bookcases move when you stand on them. In the lower left corner of the bookcase is the second Green Star. It is hidden behind one of the shelves. Stand on the shelf above it and they will slowly move out of the way. Go up the bookcase shelves to reach the midpoint. There is an invisible block on the back wall so you can reach the item block with another Fire Flower. Go to the right, then go toward the front wall (towards the screen). There are invisible clouds that lead to a 1-up. On solid ground, Big Boo will chase you up the moving steps. Go to the right and pass the pipe, which is fake. Go up the left stairs for a clock. To the right, there is a door near a gap. In the gap are invisible clouds with coins. The door takes you outside.

There are many ghosts out here moving around. The 1-up is fake. Go through the door to go back inside. The floor is moving to the left. There's a clock nearby if you ant to risk it. Keep going to the right and you'll find another couch. It will float to a fake pipe which contains the third Green Star. The door will take you outside again, but the floor is moving to the left. Two Big Boos will chase you, so run quickly. Go past the flagpole, as it is fake. The Big Boos will leave you alone and you'll soon come across the real flagpole.

The stamp is of a Boo.

New Super Luigi U: Meringue Clouds- Ghost House -- Vanishing Ghost House

In this Ghost House, the floor slowly disappears, piece by piece. There are fake item blocks here. The first Star Coin is over some real item blocks. Keep going and you'll come to a rotating floor. Transfer to another rotating floor, which will drop down. You'll find the second Star Coin over a real item block to the right. Keep going and you'll find a door. Drop down underneath the door from the left and you'll find the third Star Coin behind the hidden stairs. Go up the stairs, then walk through the wall to find a hidden door. This will take you to the flagpole.

New Super Luigi U: Soda Jungle- Ghost House -- Boo's Favorite Haunt

This Ghost House is dark. There are several Boo rings here. The first Star Coin is over the second Boo ring. Get the Acorn and you come across Boos that fly all over the place. Further ahead are Boo rings that expand and contract. The second Star Coin is in one of those Boo rings. You'll come to some pendulum platforms, which will take you to a door in the darkness. Ignore that door and glide far to the right  for the third Star Coin and another door. This door leads to a portrait of Luigi from Super Mario 64 DS and the red goal. This unlocks the path to Soda Jungle- Parabeetle.

The door after the pendulums leads to the regular goal. This opens the path to Soda Jungle-4 and -5.

New Super Luigi U: Frosted Glacier- Ghost House -- Peek-a-Boo Ghost House

This is a tricky ghost house. When you start, the floor will disappear. Grab some coins on the way down. Go to the right and jump on a floating crate. Grab an Acorn from the item block. You'll approach a wall that will disappear when you get close. Ahead is a Boo ring with the second Star Coin. Boost over the Boo ring to get it. From the platform above the Boo ring, jump left and run until you drop down. This will take you to a hidden door. The door leads to the first Star Coin, which is high up, near the red goal. Boost to get the Star Coin. The red goal opens the path to Frosted Glacier- Fliprus.

To reach the regular goal, continue to the right from the second Star Coin. Wall jump up when you can to dodge Big Boo and get some items. There's another Boo ring ahead. Stand on a floating crate through the Boo ring to reach the third Star Coin. It's hidden in the platform surrounded by the Boo ring, and the only way to reach it is to jump from a crate when you pass through the platform. Stay on the crates and you'll see Luigi in a web. At the end is a door to the regular goal. This opens the path to the castle.

New Super Luigi U: Sparkling Waters- Ghost House -- Haunted Cargo Hold

This level features Boo rings and poles. In the water below are Fishbones. Take any pipe on the right to the main level. There are spinning crates in the water, where blue homing Cheep-Cheep are. There are more poles ahead and Boo rings circling them. The first Star Coin is right above one of the spinning crates. The second Star Coin is in the water, just past the Red Coin Ring. The third Star Coin is over some crates near the pipe to the flag. There is a Boo ring in front of the regular goal. This opens the path to Sparkling Waters-3 and -4.

The secret exit is just below the pipe to the regular goal. You may not have enough time to kill all of the Cheep-Cheep, so kill a few and swim quickly. There is a hidden area near the bottom between the metal bands on the wall. There is a pipe here that will take you to the red goal. This opens the path to Sparkling Waters-Leaf.

New Super Mario Bros. U: Meringue Clouds- Ghost House -- Spinning Spirit House

This Ghost House is yet another maze. First, go through the door at the top before the Boos approach you. This leads to a room with three levels and several doors. This is where the maze begins. You can go through some of the walls, but not others. If you go to the right, you can reach the item block with a power-up. Hidden behind the wall you just passed through is a door. It leads to a room that's a spinning square. It will move to the right, past Boos and doors. The first door you'll come across is fake. The second door will return you to the same room with many doors. This time, you can go through different walls, but you cannot reach the item block any more. You can now access the door on the second level, on the left. It leads to a room with a descending floor and a Broozer. Let the Broozer live, because it can break open crates for coins. Keep it on the right side of the room so it can destroy the stones guarding the first Star Coin. The door at the bottom returns you to the room with many doors. On the second level, behind the middle wall is a spring to the third level. That door take you to a room with poles and fake item blocks that will attack you. Go through the door in the upper right corner. This will take you back to the room with many doors. You can now go to the right door on the third level. This room has a rising, tilting floor with a ring of Boos. The coins on the sides will move to the other side, where you can get them. The second Star Coin starts on the right side, but will move to the left side if you try to get it. Make the Star Coin move to the left side, then go to the left side to get it. The door at the top will return you to the room with many doors. From where you are, go down the stairs (which are hidden) and to the left for another door. This will lead to another spinning room with fake item blocks and Boos. The room will drop past a Big Boo and stop at a door. This will take you to the regular goal. This opens the path to Meringue Clouds-4, -5, and -6.

To get the third Star Coin, follow the path above until you exit the room with the poles. Go to the right, down the stairs, and to the left. On the far left wall, wall jump up to a hidden door. This leads to a room with hidden areas in the floor. Go to the far right first to access the hidden area, then hit the P-Switch on the left wall. A trail of Silver Coins will lead you to the third Star Coin. Use the spring to get it. The door leads to the red goal, which opens the path to the castle.

To reach Meringue Clouds-4, -5, or -6, approach the clouds in the gap between the Ghost House and those levels. Rainbows will appear, as well as an item block and Fuzzies. Memorize the path you want to take (probably to the item block) and step on the cloud at the start of that path. Once you move forward, Mario will run ahead and you can't steer. Meringue Clouds -4 is the level near the back, -5 is near the front, and -6 is in the middle.

New Super Mario Bros. U: Soda Jungle- Ghost House -- Which-Way Labyrinth

This Ghost House is another maze of doors. There are five doors in the first part of the room. The fastest way out of here is as follows: Take the lower left door. This leads to a dark room with a rising floor and Boos. One of the item blocks has a Yellow Baby Yoshi. Hold Yellow Baby Yoshi and spin to light up the room temporarily. It also eats Boos. As the floor rises, stay to the left. When the floor gets close to the ceiling, there is an invisible area on the left side, so you won't get crushed. Quickly run to the right and go through the door. This leads to another dark room with Boos. The floor will drop out from under you and you'll start falling. You'll land on a level that will also disappear. Quickly run to the right before the floor disappears and you'll reach an invisible area with the third Star Coin. At the bottom is the door to the red goal. This opens the path to Soda Jungle- Parabeetle.

To reach the regular goal and get the other two Star Coins, go through the upper right door. It leads to a dark room with a couple of Broozers, that will punch barrels at you. In the center of the room is a floor that will descend when you stand on it. While it descends, go to the left for the first Star Coin, avoid the Broozer, then jump back up and make the floor descend again. This time, go to the right to a door that will take you back to the first room with five doors. This time, take the lower right door, which leads to a dark room with rats. You'll only be able to see their eyes glow at first, but to the right is an item block with another Yellow Baby Yoshi. In this room, you'll move right to left. The P-Switch makes Silver Coins appear. Go past the door you see at ground level and go up and to the left to a hidden area that leads to the upper door. This bring us to a part of the Ghost House that's above the five doors. Go up the stairs and up and over to the left of the door at the top of the stairs. You'll drop down to the second Star Coin. Wall jump out, then go through the lower door. This leads to a room with a tilting floor that descends. There's a giant Boo or two in the room. The floor will drop to the level of an item block with a Starman. Put the Starman to good use until you reach the door at the bottom. This leads to the regular goal, opening the path to Soda Jungle-4 and -5.

New Super Mario Bros. U: Frosted Glacier- Ghost House -- Swaying Ghost House

This level is an automatic sidescroller, which moves left and right, back and forth, up and down. In the first room, the level will scroll to the right, allowing you to reach a P-Switch. Hit the P-Switch and run to the left. Go up and over the platform you just went over, then drop down and go to the right. The brick blocks that were blocking access from the left are now coins, allowing you to drop down and reach the first Star Coin. Quickly go to the left and go through the coins to reach a door on the far left. Following the trail of Silver Coins will accomplish the same goal. This door leads to the second room, where you'll find a pole and two doors. Some item blocks will serve as the platform you'll use to go through the doors. From this room forward, the level becomes a maze. Follow the following path so you don't bother with rooms that don't take you anywhere.

In the room with the pole, take the top door. This leads to a room with a P-Switch, a line of coins, and a door below the door you came through. The level will scroll in a rectangular pattern, so wait until the camera lowers, then drop down to the newly-formed brick blocks, which will allow you to reach the lower door. In this room, you'll see a set of two coins that will move ahead of you. Dodge the Boos and hit the P-Switch, then run to the end of the room. While the coins are still brick blocks, jump on them, then wall jump for the second Star Coin. Take the door below to return to the room with the moving blocks and the P-Switch (the room that leads to the room with the second Star Coin, not the room with the pole). Activate the P-Switch and drop onto the brick blocks. Go to the right, which has a door in an invisible area below the door on the same level as the P-Switch.

This leads to a room with three doors. The level will scroll horizontally. On the far left wall is an invisible area with a ? Switch. Hit it and run all the way to the right. You don't need to jump. Under the door you came through is an invisible area with a door. This leads to a room with a high ceiling. There are Boos all over the place. Do not collect the line of coins. Hit the P-Switch, then jump on the newly-formed bricks. Keep jumping quickly, as the brick blocks will follow you. You'll find some giant Boos near the top. If you jump quickly enough, you'll reach a platform with a door. This leads to a giant Boo and the regular flagpole. This opens the path to the castle.

If you return to the room with the high ceiling and the line of coins, hit the P-Switch again. Jump even more quickly into the center of the ceiling, where you'll find a hidden door. This leads to a room that only scrolls to the right. With good timing, you have to hit the P-Switch above you and move through the maze of brick blocks and coins. When you see two sets of brick blocks below a gap in the ceiling, quickly wall jump up for the third Star Coin. The door here leads to the red goal, which opens the path to Frosted Glacier- Fliprus.

New Super Mario Bros. 2: Flower-Ghost House

This Ghost House is a mainly vertical level with spiderwebs. Go up the right side for the first Star Coin. Wall jump to reach the web above it, then drop down. There are some Gold Rings on the way, but you may want to wait to activate them. At the top, you'll see the second Star Coin. Hit the item block above it for a Starman. Once you get it, the floor will turn into coins and you can get the Star Coin. Now would be a good time to activate the Gold Rings as you fall. You'll land in the water. Swim to the right and Boolossus will appear. The level will automatically sidescroll. Avoid the vortex and the circling ghosts. The third Star Coin is in the water, under some stairs. Move quickly to get it. Go through the door and climb the spiderwebs to reach the flag to Flower-2. Alternatively, when you're falling, stay to the right and go right where there is an arrow. You'll see a door. Keep going to the right, past the door for coins and a 1-up. Go back to the door and go through it. Pass the Boos and climb the webs to the Red Goal to Flower-B.

New Super Mario Bros. 2: Mushroom-Ghost House

This Ghost House is a maze of doors. Use the Raccoon Leaf to reach the Gold Ring above. The Boos will float away, trailing coins behind them. Some parts of the level have Gold Rings. The door to the right leads to a room with some coins and six ? Switches. The switches are in two sets of three. Hit the left switch of the lower set to make a platform appear, so you can reach the higher set. Hit the left switch there to make the blocks in front of the coins disappear. Hit the right switch of the lower set to make a door appear and hit the middle switch of the higher set to make a platform appear underneath it. The left door in the first area leads to the first Star Coin. Hit the right ? Switch to make platforms appear to it. Let that switch run out and hit the switch to the left to make a door appear and some platforms to reach it. Both doors will lead to the second area, which has a random coin block high above. The middle door leads to a room with the second Star Coin. Move towards the center of the room to activated the diamond springs. This will make Mario bounce around. Go to the left side and hit the switch to make the second Star Coin appear below, but you'll have to backtrack. The switch will make the door appear, as well. Stand on the platform over the door at the top of the stairs to make coins appear. Go through the door at the top of the stairs. This will lead to a room with three switches and three paths. Hit the right and middle switches to reach the top path. Fly up the second gap in the ceiling and hit the ? Switch to the left. Drop down and fly up the first gap before the switch runs out to get the third Star Coin. Hitting the swith again will make a door appear to the right. This leads to the Red Goal. Hit the middle brick block behind the giant Boo for a ? Switch to make blocks to the flagpole appear. This leads to Mushroom-B. In the last room with the three switches, hit the left and middle switches to access the middle path to the regular goal to Mushroom-3.

New Super Mario Bros. 2: 6-Ghost House

This is a very tricky Ghost House. For some reason, I found the Red Goal with relative ease, but had a difficult time finding the regular goal. Hit the ? Switch to make the floor below you move away and reveal coins. Hit the next ? Switch to make the floor drop down. Go left and pound the left brick block to get a Gold Block. Go up, drop back down, and go to the right. Hit the ? Switch in the brick block on the right to make the ceiling move away. Climb up for the first Star Coin. Take the door to the right. Go to the right and through the door. It will take you to an area that looks similar. You'll come through the lower door. Go right for a Gold Ring after hitting the ? Switch, which makes the floor appear. Gold Rings make Boos trail coins behind them. Go through the door on the right. You'll end up where you started after going through the first door. Go through the door on the right. This time, hit the ? Switch to make the wall drop and go left. Jump on each platform above to make coins appear. There is a ? Switch behind a Boo that will drop the ceiling. Go up to a door. The floor underneath the door will drop. Hit the ? Switch on the right to gain access to the second Star Coin. Another piece of floor will drop down with a ? Switch on it. This will make the wall to the right rise up to reveal a door to the regular goal. This leads to 6-2. After going through the first door on the right from where you started, go to the door on the right. Hit the ? Switch and go through the door above you. Go to the right. Hit the ? Switch to make the floor appear. Go to the right and hit the ? Switch near the right wall behind the giant Boo. This will make the wall lower to reveal another door. Hit the ? Switch to make the ceiling open up. Wall jump up to get the third Star Coin and keep wall jumping until you reach a door above. This will lead to the Red Goal to 6-A.

New Super Mario Bros. 2: 5-Ghost House

There are bats in this Ghost House and the stairs will periodically flatten, so you can't use them. At the top of the stairs are groups of swinging blocks. These will help you cross the gap. On the second one, drop down to the lower level and get off at the platform to reach the first Star Coin. Stairs will help you get back up. There is a door above the stairs and to the left is a gap in the ceiling. Fly up it and take the stairs to a door. The door leads to a dangling rope so you can swing to some blocks a few times. There's a ? Switch that makes a giant Boo and four doors appear. Three of them are fake and the one to the right is real. The door leads to the Red Goal to 5-A. If you do not go to the Red Goal, go through the door above the stairs near the first Star Coin. There are more swinging blocks, as well as poles leading into the ceiling. Take the second pole and follow the trail of coins to the second Star Coin. This makes a lot of coins appear below. The third pole leads to stairs to the third Star Coin. The fourth pole leads to a 1-up in an invisible block. Take the door at the end and you'll enter a room with a giant Boo. Stand on top of the brick blocks and jump to make invisible blocks appear so you can reach the swinging blocks above. Go to the top of the swinging bricks to the door to the regular goal. This leads to 5-3.

New Super Mario Bros. 2: 4- Ghost House

The item blocks won't move away from you, but they will float up and down. Go up all the stairs; the first door is fake. Step down to the floor and the walls will close in. They are being controlled by Boos and can change direction at any time. As the walls move right, you'll come across parts of the floor that rise. Stand on the far right part of the floor to make it rise to the ceiling. The walls will move to the left, revealing the first Star Coin. The floor will drop away once you get it. The walls will move right again. Wall jump up the left moving wall once past the rising platform that takes you to the first Star Coin to  reach a door overhead. It will take you a giant Boo and the Red Goal, which leads to 4-B. If you don't go for the Red Goal, you'll see a Red Coin Ring. The Red Coins will appear sequentially with other coins. The walls will be close enough for you to wall jump, so do so continuously after you pass the last Red Coin for the second Star Coin, which is near the ceiling. Drop down and you'll see a P-Switch. It produces Silver Coins. Quickly go up the next area. When you reach the spring, go left immediately for the third Star Coin. The left wall will block it off. Spring up to the next level, as the walls will soon close in on you. Wall jump up the left side to reach a door. It leads to a room filled with coins. The walls will soon close in, so jump up to the door. You'll drop down near the flag, with a spring. This leads to 4-2.

New Super Mario Bros. 2: 3- Ghost House

This Ghost House is pretty interesting. Hop on the platform and it will be carried by ghosts. Don't worry; they won't hurt you. The platform will dump you off at a door. Go through it and hop on the next platform. Near the top, the first Star Coin is behind a Boo. The platform will disappear and you'll land on a platform below. Transfer again and take the top door. There's a Red Coin Ring. The platform will split up so you can get all the Red Coins. Behind the Boo is a random coin block. Go through the door. There are three platforms at the bottom of the stairs. The middle one will take you to the alcove with the second Star Coin. Take the platform on the right to reach the far right door. It will take you to the third Star Coin. Ride the platform to get it. Take the door on the left. It will return you to the room you were just in. Take the platform on the right again and take it to the second door on the right. The entire floor is a platform, rising up. Stay to the right, even though the platforms will shuffle. When they do, jump to the right for an alcove. Use your Raccoon Tail to break the brick blocks to reach a door. It will take you to Red Goal to the castle. If you can't reach the door, continue up to another door to the regular goal to 3-5.

New Super Mario Bros. 2: 2-Ghost House

This is a tricky Ghost House. There are Boos, as always, and some of the item blocks will move if you try to hit them or go near them. Go below the door for some coins. Go through the door and down the stairs, and a giant, goofy-looking Boo named Boolossus will appear. He behaves like other Boos: following you when your back is turned and freezing when you face him. However, if you face him for too long, he will inch closer. He is able to squish you. This makes the level somewhat of an automatic sidescroller. Run up the stairs and jump left for the first Star Coin. The second Star Coin is blocked by the floor, so stand on the floor panel in front of it. It will lower so you can reach it. There are Red Coins over the purple tilting platform. The third Star Coin is floating high in the air. The floor is actually diamond bouncy blocks, so you can reach it easily. Towards the end, you'll come across a door. It leads to fake doors, so stand on the raised floor panel to lower it, revealing the true door to the goal. There are ghosts near the flagpole. This opens the path to 2-4. After a great deal of searching (and giving up and moving on), I found the secret exit. Just after the second Star Coin, go down two levels of platforms. Hug the wall immediately to your left and jump for an invisible block with a vine to a door. This leads to the Red Goal. This opens the path to a Mushroom House and 2-B.

New Super Mario Bros.: 7- Ghost House

This Ghost House is a bit of a maze, so keep track of where you're going. The orange ? Switch makes five doors permanently appear. The lower left door leads to a room with coins and Boos and a ? Switch that makes a door appear. This takes you back to the room with five doors. The upper left door leads to a room with a undulating gelatinous floor with some pumpkins and the first Star Coin. You'll return back to the first room. The top door leads to a room with a gelatinous floor. Pound the floor repeatedly on the left side of the room to reach the second Star Coin trapped in the floor. Pound the floor on the right side to hit a ? Switch to make a door to the first room appear. The upper right door leads to a confusing room where you'll see some gloved hands floating near the ceiling. They're pointing to a moving invisible block, so hit it for a ? Switch to make a door to the first room. The lower right door leads to the third Star Coin and both goals. There are hands pointing to another invisible block here. The ? Switch in it makes a couple of platforms appear, which lead to a door high up. The door takes you to a room with coins and a P-Switch. Hit the P-Switch to turn the coins into brick blocks. If you run to the right, run quickly, avoiding Boos and hop up the brick blocks over to the high floor. If you make it in time, run over to the right for the third Star Coin. Eitherway, keep going right on the lower level to reach a door to the regular goal, which leads to 7-2. If, at the P-Switch, you decide to go to the left, you'll run a short way before coming across a single brick block that shimmers while the others do not. New Super Mario Bros.: 5-Ghost House

Bruisers are crawling all over this Ghost House. They'll be doing the dirty work of breaking stone blocks for us. Let one of them break the stone blocks on the right side so you can wall jump up to get it. When you see a door on the left side, do a running jump to get it. Through the door are some Bruisers and some stone blocks. The Bruisers will be coming towards you. Quickly wall jump up the stone blocks to the second Star Coin above, avoid the Bruisers, and return the way you came. As you ascend, you will see a row of three blocks on the left side. Jump onto the row of blocks and jump up over each of them to reveal three invisible blocks. Jump on the middle block that was formerly invisible, duck, and jump while ducking to reveal another invisible block with a vine in it. The vine leads to a door guarded by a Bruiser. Let it walk off the ledge without hurting you and go through the door. You'll find yourself on a rising platform. Pumpkins will periodically drop in and the platform will tilt, trying to make you fall off. Stay on the right side and run off for the third Star Coin. There's a vine that will take you to the door you would've reached on the platform. There is a Boo guarding the door. The door leads to a Boo and the Red Goal to the cannon. If you don't go to the secret goal, go to the top of the ghost house where there's a door. You'll find a similar platform rising toward the ceiling, but this time, you'll have to contend with Boos. The door takes you to the regular goal to 5-4.
