Roy's castle has stone blocks that drop into the lava to serve as platforms. They move through the lava, then stop. Hit the ? Switch to make the first Star Coin drop down with a large stone. Move quickly to avoid being crushed. There's an item block with a 1-up in it. Going forward, there are several stones dropping onto conveyor belts, so time your jumps. Ahead, some blocks will drop down and carry the second Star Coin under a conveyor belt into the lava. Run quickly over the conveyor belt and drop down on the right side to get it. Ahead is another ? Switch that makes the stones form moving staircases. Transfer to the next one, which will take you to the boss door. Roy has his Bill Blaster and will fire Bullet Bills at you. Stomp him three times to win.
To get the third Star Coin, use the red switch near Rock-Candy Mines-5 to make a path to the back door of the castle. There are more moving stones as well as Podoboos. The third Star Coin is moving on the conveyor, then drops onto a stone moving to the right. Grab it, then transfer to another stone moving towards the boss door. Beat Roy again and you'll have all of the Star Coins in Rock-Candy Mines.

New Super Luigi U: Rock-Candy Mines-7 -- Switch-Lift Express
Go through the pipe to reach the main level. There are steel crates in this level with ? Switches. Hitting the switch will cause the platform to move quickly. It will remain wherever it stops. Hit the first ? Switch to move the platform to the right. There are two ? Switches nearby. Hit them both, then walk to the left. One of the crates is in position so you can jump on it and walk right to reach the first Star Coin. Past the first Star Coin is a ? Switch under a brick block. Get the item in the nearby item block if you need it, then pound the brick block to land on the ? Switch. This will allow you to hit the ? Switch near the first Piranha Plant. Keep hitting the switches to move the crates in place so you can jump over the Piranha Plants. One of them is on a lower crate that will move and rotate under a giant Piranha Plant, so pay attention. There are a couple of Fire Bros nearby. Go past the first Fire Bro and you'll see the second one with the second Star Coin. Kill this Fire Bro and get the second Star Coin before you hit another switch. Hit the switches so you can wall jump up for coins. After that is a Fire Bro with a ? Switch on either side. Hit the ? Switch on the right first, so you can reach the third Star Coin. Hit the left ? Switch and you'll soon reach the pipe to the flag.

New Super Mario Bros. U: Superstar Road-8 -- Pendulum Castle
This is a treacherous castle. Spike balls on spike chains are everywhere and there are Bony Beetles to deal with as well. Many platforms are donut lifts, so you can't stand still in many places. The Ice Flower or the P-Acorn are incredibly helpful here. Take your time and learn the timing of everything, and get rid of as many Bony Beetles as you need to. You can use the Ice Flower to get rid of them, or, if they're on donut lifts, stomp them, then stand on the donut lift it's resting on to make it drop. The first Star Coin is under a set of donut lifts in a series of ball and chains. Stand on one donut lift to make it drop, then jump to safety once you get the Star Coin. Or, you can use a P-Acorn and avoid the ball and chains all together. At the end of that series of donut lifts is a gap in the ceiling. Wall jump up and you'll find a hidden pipe to the right. It leads to the second Star Coin. You will want the Ice Flower to attempt to get this Star Coin. It's in the path of the chains of three spike balls that swing together. Below is a pit of Bony Beetles. Drop down and freeze and destroy all Bony Beetles. Wall jump up the right side and get the Starman in the item block, then jump for the Star Coin. Return to the main level and use your invincibility to clear through more enemies. From the pipe to the main level, there is a spike ball swinging on the other side of a gap of donut lifts. Jump to the other side when the spike ball is swinging to the right and run past it. There's an item block with a power-up nearby. Dodge some more spike balls and Bony Beetles with good timing. Ahead are single donut lifts below a giant spike ball. You'll want to proceed when the spike ball is on the left. Move quickly. Ahead is another giant spike ball near a ? Switch. The ? Switch provides temporary platforms so you can cross the gap, and get the third Star Coin in the right corner, near the pipe. Timing is crucial here. If you can't quite get the timing right, use a P-Acorn. Drop down when the spike ball starts swinging to the right and boost repeatedly to the right wall, then boost to the Star Coin when the spike ball swings to the left. The pipe takes you to the flagpole. Thankfully, this castle has no boss to fight. There are donut lifts to the flagpole, but be sure to jump. Otherwise, when the donut lifts form stairs, you'll run right through them. This opens the path to a Mushroom House.
Once you collect all of the Star Coins in Superstar Road, you unlock a bonus level, Superstar Road-9. You get a message: "The final course is now available! A fourth star has been added to your file!" And you thought you were done.

New Super Mario Bros. U: Rock-Candy Mines- Castle -- Roy's Conveyor Castle
The castle is filled with conveyor belts carrying large blocks which can crush you. Some of the blocks form stepping stones in the lava. When you reach solid ground, you'll see the first Star Coin under a ledge. A set of three blocks will fall. Let the first two fall, but run before the third falls because it will block access to the Star Coin. There are conveyor belts under the lava which allow the blocks to move through the lava in some spots. Ride one of the blocks moving to the right and you'll see gaps in the low ceiling. The first two gaps have coins in them, but the third one does not. Wall jump up the third gap to the hidden pipe above. It leads to a room with the second Star Coin on the right, next to a conveyor belt. Run quickly to get the Star Coin before blocks drop in to cover it. When you return to the main level, there's a Red Coin Ring near the midpoint. Past it is a ? Switch that makes blocks and Dry Bones drop from above. You'll need to hit the switch to make it to the boss door. Don't worry about the third Star Coin just yet. Go through the boss door and launch from the cannon to Roy's Airship. Oddly enough, this battle takes place outside. Roy Koopa Jr. has a bazooka-style Bill Blaster. Flying platforms will appear overhead. Stomp Roy, preferably before he can fire any Bullet Bills. Three stomps will defeat him. This opens the path to Meringue Clouds. To get the third Star Coin, take the path behind the castle. There's another ? Switch that will make blocks fall. Let the first few form a path in the lava, but move quickly and run under the ledge for the third Star Coin before a block blocks your path. Keep going to the left for blocks that will move through the lava to the boss door. You'll have to duck before you reach the boss door. Defeat Roy again. We now have all the Star Coins in the Rock-Candy Mines.

New Super Mario Bros. U: Rock-Candy Mines-4 -- Light Blocks, Dark Tower
This is a dark level, with large light blocks that light up in sets. They also act as platforms. In the left item block is a Starman that lights up the entire level. Try to reach other item blocks to continue the chain of Starmen so you can see. Go up the wall on the right with the bats for the first Star Coin. Climb the rope ladders and go through the yellow pipe on the right side. This will take you outside, where there is plenty of light. Bounce off of the Parakoopas to get the second Star Coin. Return to the pipe to return to the main level. The green pipe at the top will take you to the midpoint. There's a ? Switch that turns on the light blocks temporarily. Keep an eye out for other ? Switches so you know where you can turn on the lights again. There's a pipe that makes an infinite amount of Bob-ombs. Go up the right side of the level past the Bob-omb pipe. There's a Fire Bro at the top of the level and the third Star Coin is above it. Take the pipe to the flagpole. This opens the path to Rock-Candy Mines-5.

New Super Mario Bros. U: Frosted Glacier- Ghost House -- Swaying Ghost House
This level is an automatic sidescroller, which moves left and right, back and forth, up and down. In the first room, the level will scroll to the right, allowing you to reach a P-Switch. Hit the P-Switch and run to the left. Go up and over the platform you just went over, then drop down and go to the right. The brick blocks that were blocking access from the left are now coins, allowing you to drop down and reach the first Star Coin. Quickly go to the left and go through the coins to reach a door on the far left. Following the trail of Silver Coins will accomplish the same goal. This door leads to the second room, where you'll find a pole and two doors. Some item blocks will serve as the platform you'll use to go through the doors. From this room forward, the level becomes a maze. Follow the following path so you don't bother with rooms that don't take you anywhere.
In the room with the pole, take the top door. This leads to a room with a P-Switch, a line of coins, and a door below the door you came through. The level will scroll in a rectangular pattern, so wait until the camera lowers, then drop down to the newly-formed brick blocks, which will allow you to reach the lower door. In this room, you'll see a set of two coins that will move ahead of you. Dodge the Boos and hit the P-Switch, then run to the end of the room. While the coins are still brick blocks, jump on them, then wall jump for the second Star Coin. Take the door below to return to the room with the moving blocks and the P-Switch (the room that leads to the room with the second Star Coin, not the room with the pole). Activate the P-Switch and drop onto the brick blocks. Go to the right, which has a door in an invisible area below the door on the same level as the P-Switch.
This leads to a room with three doors. The level will scroll horizontally. On the far left wall is an invisible area with a ? Switch. Hit it and run all the way to the right. You don't need to jump. Under the door you came through is an invisible area with a door. This leads to a room with a high ceiling. There are Boos all over the place. Do not collect the line of coins. Hit the P-Switch, then jump on the newly-formed bricks. Keep jumping quickly, as the brick blocks will follow you. You'll find some giant Boos near the top. If you jump quickly enough, you'll reach a platform with a door. This leads to a giant Boo and the regular flagpole. This opens the path to the castle.
If you return to the room with the high ceiling and the line of coins, hit the P-Switch again. Jump even more quickly into the center of the ceiling, where you'll find a hidden door. This leads to a room that only scrolls to the right. With good timing, you have to hit the P-Switch above you and move through the maze of brick blocks and coins. When you see two sets of brick blocks below a gap in the ceiling, quickly wall jump up for the third Star Coin. The door here leads to the red goal, which opens the path to Frosted Glacier- Fliprus.
New Super Mario Bros. U: Sparkling Waters-2 -- Tropical Refresher
This level starts outside, but you'll take the pipe to an underwater level. There are Cheep-Cheep and Bloopers here, as well as Urchins. Many of the pipes have currents, and some of the pipes move. Arcs of coins appear from some red pipes, then disappear. Under the first Urchin is a Red Coin Ring in an invisible area. The first Star Coin appears along a set of three pipes. It will appear along the pipes, then disappear into the void, then reappear. Past the giant Urchin is the midpoint. There are two giant Urchins over a vortex with a rock in it. Between them is an invisible ? Switch which makes coins appear from above, including the second Star Coin. There's a green pipe under an Urchin, which leads to a Starman. Quickly return to the main level and go down the next green pipe. While you still have the power, drop down and kill the giant Urchin. Below it is the third Star Coin over a vortex. Follow the Cheep-Cheep to the pipe to the flagpole. This opens the path to a 1-up Mushroom House and the Fort.

New Super Mario Bros. U: Layer Cake Desert-1 -- Stone-Eye Zone
This desert has quicksand as well as stone statues in the quicksand. The are safe to stand on and sometimes move. We can also stand on the palm trees. There are flying squirrels here. The ? Switch makes coins appear from the sky. Bounce off a stone statue for the first Star Coin. Use a Koopa shell to hit the item block you can't hit for a 1-up. Pound the nearby stone statue for coins. After the midpoint are pillars of sand that appear from below and help you reach things, like item blocks. One of the item blocks has a Fire Flower. If you have an Acorn Mushroom, glide and boost to a green pipe near a palm tree. It will take you to the second Star Coin. Use the P-Switch to get it. The third Star Coin is in the middle of a pillar of sand. Jump down to get it when the sand is not there and the sand pillar will appear to save you. At the end, near the flagpole, is a series of stone statues that you have platform over. The statues will sink and tilt, sometimes before you reach them, so take your time. The flagpole is at the end. This opens the path to a Mushroom House, and Layer Cake Desert-2 and -3.
A rabbit thief appears from the Mushroom House with a sack. Toad says that the thief stole a bunch of stuff from him and that he's fast. The thief runs of to Acorn Plains-1.

New Super Mario Bros. 2: Star-Castle
It's time for the final level! We've defeated Bowser and the Koopalings, so who could be in this castle? It's not Bowser Jr. We start the level and the Koopalings appear in the Clown Copter. We know what to do here: hide when the eyes start flashing to avoid being turned into stone. We have to climb tightropes and avoid the saws. Climb on the grates quickly from cover to cover. The first Moon Coin is on a low grate over the lava. The second Moon Coin is over donut lifts over the lava. Your cover is above the Moon Coin, on the tightrope over the spikes. Drop down carefully when the coast is clear, then quickly move to cover. Eventually, you'll reach the door to the midpoint. Dodge the saws appearing from below. The door at the end leads to a snake platform. The Koopalings reappear, so now you have to seek cover while the floor's moving. Sometimes, you'll have to jump for cover. The third Moon Coin is over a saw and grate and appears while you're moving past it. Move quickly to reach the tightrope to get it and return to the snake platform. The snake will dive into the lava, so stay towards the middle so you see it coming. It will reappear a short distance away. The snake platform will eventually loop under the boss door, so get off. The door will lead to the midpoint, which looks similar to the one in Bowser's Castle. Get the items you need; I recommend two Super Leaves. Go up the stairs and dodge blue flames this time. Once you reach the end, you come face to face with the boss: Dry Bowser. Peach isn't here. The battle is almost the same as Bowser's, but with differently-colored flames and he throws bones instead of hammers. Run when he jumps so you can hit the switch and make him disappear. The platforms from Bowser's battle reappear. The Koopalings revive Dry Bowser and get knocked away. From this point forward, almost everything is the same as in the Bowser battle: his eyes will glow and he'll knock away the platforms in the area you're in. Once you reach the top, hit the ? Switch and he'll fall. A victory fanfare plays. We're done!

New Super Mario Bros. 2: Star-1
It takes 90 Star Coins to access Star World. There are no secret goals, just a linear path to the castle. Let's finish this!
This level is a dark world, made mainly of brick blocks. I don't recommend using a Gold Flower excessively here, as you may be destroying the floor. We still have special coins to collect, so what could they be? Go to the right and grab the shell and use it to hit the brick block over the first narrow gap. This will make a P-Switch appear, turning all brick blocks into coins. Hit the ? Switch to drop the bridge. The next switch is on the left side of the right brick block pair. Go over the brick block ferris wheel and you'll come across the first special coin. The shape on the coin is that of a 3-up Moon from Super Mario World. Moon Coins in Star World? Oh well. The brick block to the right has a P-Switch. Hit it to turn the brick blocks into coins and make Silver Coins and drop down. It's okay; there's a floor below. Pound the brick blocks over the green pipe to make the bridges move out of the way and use the pipe as a cannon to the first Moon Coin. There is a brick block jutting out of the right wall past the second ferris wheel. Pound the blocks to the right of it and hit it from below to make a vine appear. It leads to Coin Heaven. Hit the P-Switch to make some ground to stand on, then hit the item block outside of the ring for a Gold Flower. You'll drop back down to the midpoint. Past the next ferris wheel is the second Moon Coin over the gap. Go over the gap and use a shell to get it. Next is a Red Coin Ring. Activating it will make a Moneybag hop around, releasing the Red Coins. Next, keep going to the right without hitting the ? Switch. Go under the ledge for the third Moon Coin, then hit the switch. It will raise the bridge to the flagpole, blocking off the Moon Coin.

New Super Mario Bros. 2: Flower-B
This level has more pink springy mushrooms. Avoid the Spinies, cross the brick block ferris wheel, and pound the middle brick block for a Gold Block. Near the Gold Ring, a Lakitu will appear. Take his cloud and follow the coin trail up for the first Star Coin. Hit the center blocks of the ferris wheels to make coins appear. You'll soon reach the midpoint and a random item block. A Lakitu will appear near the Red Coin Ring. Steal Lakitu's cloud and go right, under the rainbow platform, to a yellow pipe. Hit the ? Switch to make four random coin blocks appear so you can reach the second Star Coin. Once you return to the main level, steal another cloud and get the third Star Coin over the gap. The ferris wheel at the end is just before the flagpole. This opens the path to the castle.

New Super Mario Bros. 2: Mushroom-3
This level has Buzzy Beetles and POW blocks. Once you go past the first two POW blocks, the level will start automatically sidescrolling. Go across the infinite platforms moving up and down and you'll come across the first Star Coin. It is above a donut lift below a fire pipe, which will give you three 1-ups if you're fast enough to reach them. There is a ? Switch between two yellow pipes. It makes coins from both of them. At the end is a yellow pipe. The POW block to the right of the pipe which makes coins. The pipe takes you to the midpoint, where the POW block allows you to get four items, either Super Mushrooms or Fire Flowers. Go through the next pipe and the level starts scrolling again. Jump left from the infinite platforms for the second Star Coin. Use Buzzy Beetles to hit the next POW blocks for the third Star Coin. The rock wall will drop, revealing another fire pipe. It will give you a Mega Mushroom, so run to the right for lots of coins. The pipe at the end will take you to the flag.

New Super Mario Bros. 2: Mushroom-Ghost House
This Ghost House is a maze of doors. Use the Raccoon Leaf to reach the Gold Ring above. The Boos will float away, trailing coins behind them. Some parts of the level have Gold Rings. The door to the right leads to a room with some coins and six ? Switches. The switches are in two sets of three. Hit the left switch of the lower set to make a platform appear, so you can reach the higher set. Hit the left switch there to make the blocks in front of the coins disappear. Hit the right switch of the lower set to make a door appear and hit the middle switch of the higher set to make a platform appear underneath it. The left door in the first area leads to the first Star Coin. Hit the right ? Switch to make platforms appear to it. Let that switch run out and hit the switch to the left to make a door appear and some platforms to reach it. Both doors will lead to the second area, which has a random coin block high above. The middle door leads to a room with the second Star Coin. Move towards the center of the room to activated the diamond springs. This will make Mario bounce around. Go to the left side and hit the switch to make the second Star Coin appear below, but you'll have to backtrack. The switch will make the door appear, as well. Stand on the platform over the door at the top of the stairs to make coins appear. Go through the door at the top of the stairs. This will lead to a room with three switches and three paths. Hit the right and middle switches to reach the top path. Fly up the second gap in the ceiling and hit the ? Switch to the left. Drop down and fly up the first gap before the switch runs out to get the third Star Coin. Hitting the swith again will make a door appear to the right. This leads to the Red Goal. Hit the middle brick block behind the giant Boo for a ? Switch to make blocks to the flagpole appear. This leads to Mushroom-B. In the last room with the three switches, hit the left and middle switches to access the middle path to the regular goal to Mushroom-3.

New Super Mario Bros. 2: Mushroom-A
This level is filled with ice and spike balls. Let the first spike ball pass you. As you ascend, some spike balls will not go away. The first Star Coin is blocked by brick blocks. A spike ball will take care of those for you. Wait for it to roll to the right side before running and sliding to get it. Above is an area with an endless supply of spike balls that roll off-screen. Stay to the right and jump up on the right side to get the second Star Coin. Above it is the midpoint. There are some Red Coins ahead. You'll see two spike balls guarding the third Star Coin. Hit the ? Switch above to make a giant spike ball take them out. Be careful above getting the Star Coin, as the giant spike ball doesn't go away. Go through the blue pipe to reach a random coin block. Once back in the main level, go immediately to the left side to dodge the giant spike ball destroying the overhead brick blocks. Let a spike ball pass, then slide on the donut lifts, then duck to reach the blue pipe at the top. It leads to an icy staircase to the flagpole.

New Super Mario Bros. 2: 6-2
Drop down the gap with the coins to slide to the Bone Boat. It looks like the Bone Coaster from New Super Mario Bros. Wii, but is larger, slower, and floats on the lava, periodically raising its segments. Jump up to the brick blocks to get the spring instead of hitting the ? Switch, which will drop the Goombas on the boat. Use the spring to get the first Star Coin just past the Microgoombas. At the end of the ride, pick up the spring and use it to jump into the gap in the ceiling. This leads to a red pipe. Activate the Gold Ring and hit the three POW blocks when the Piranhas appear for lots of coins from the pipes above. The red pipe to the left leads to the midpoint and another Bone Boat. This time, coins will periodically arc out of the lava, as well as fireballs. As Super Mario, break the brick blocks surrounding the second Star Coin to get it. Soon after, Bob-ombs will drop in with parachutes. The lava will start to rise when the boat stops on the right side. You can get off and get some 1-ups and coins. Be sure to rejoin the boat. As it rises, on the left side you'll see the third Star Coin surrounded by stone. Use the Bob-ombs to break the stone so you can get it. The lava will stop rising when you reach the pipe to the flagpole.

New Super Mario Bros. 2: 6-Ghost House
This is a very tricky Ghost House. For some reason, I found the Red Goal with relative ease, but had a difficult time finding the regular goal. Hit the ? Switch to make the floor below you move away and reveal coins. Hit the next ? Switch to make the floor drop down. Go left and pound the left brick block to get a Gold Block. Go up, drop back down, and go to the right. Hit the ? Switch in the brick block on the right to make the ceiling move away. Climb up for the first Star Coin. Take the door to the right. Go to the right and through the door. It will take you to an area that looks similar. You'll come through the lower door. Go right for a Gold Ring after hitting the ? Switch, which makes the floor appear. Gold Rings make Boos trail coins behind them. Go through the door on the right. You'll end up where you started after going through the first door. Go through the door on the right. This time, hit the ? Switch to make the wall drop and go left. Jump on each platform above to make coins appear. There is a ? Switch behind a Boo that will drop the ceiling. Go up to a door. The floor underneath the door will drop. Hit the ? Switch on the right to gain access to the second Star Coin. Another piece of floor will drop down with a ? Switch on it. This will make the wall to the right rise up to reveal a door to the regular goal. This leads to 6-2. After going through the first door on the right from where you started, go to the door on the right. Hit the ? Switch and go through the door above you. Go to the right. Hit the ? Switch to make the floor appear. Go to the right and hit the ? Switch near the right wall behind the giant Boo. This will make the wall lower to reveal another door. Hit the ? Switch to make the ceiling open up. Wall jump up to get the third Star Coin and keep wall jumping until you reach a door above. This will lead to the Red Goal to 6-A.

New Super Mario Bros. 2: 6-1
This level takes place outside an erupting volcano. Volcanic rock will rain down and destroy blocks in its path. Hit the POW blocks for coins and items. The first Star Coin is high on a ledge. Go to the right, then up and left to reach it. There are Red Coins over stones that can be destroyed by the volcanic rock. Past them is the midpoint. Hop on some large rocks on the level. Hit the ? Switch to make a stone path ahead. The rock you're standing on will start sinking. The second Star Coin is encased in the stones, so let some volcanic rock destroy some of the stones. There is a gap in the stones right before the stairs. Before you reach the flagpole, drop immediately to the right of the stairs and jump to hit an invisible block with a vine. It leads to the third Star Coin and will drop you directly on top of the flagpole. Free 1-up!

New Super Mario Bros. 2: 5-Ghost House
There are bats in this Ghost House and the stairs will periodically flatten, so you can't use them. At the top of the stairs are groups of swinging blocks. These will help you cross the gap. On the second one, drop down to the lower level and get off at the platform to reach the first Star Coin. Stairs will help you get back up. There is a door above the stairs and to the left is a gap in the ceiling. Fly up it and take the stairs to a door. The door leads to a dangling rope so you can swing to some blocks a few times. There's a ? Switch that makes a giant Boo and four doors appear. Three of them are fake and the one to the right is real. The door leads to the Red Goal to 5-A. If you do not go to the Red Goal, go through the door above the stairs near the first Star Coin. There are more swinging blocks, as well as poles leading into the ceiling. Take the second pole and follow the trail of coins to the second Star Coin. This makes a lot of coins appear below. The third pole leads to stairs to the third Star Coin. The fourth pole leads to a 1-up in an invisible block. Take the door at the end and you'll enter a room with a giant Boo. Stand on top of the brick blocks and jump to make invisible blocks appear so you can reach the swinging blocks above. Go to the top of the swinging bricks to the door to the regular goal. This leads to 5-3.

New Super Mario Bros. 2: 4-5
Before taking the pipe underwater, stand on the ledge to the right to make coins appear. There are coins trailing the Cheep-Cheep as well. There is a random item block, so try your luck at getting a Gold Flower. That or a Fire Flower will be very helpful, as there are man-eating giant Cheep-Cheep in the water. Throughout are blue pipes with currents pushing you to the right. Above one of them is a yellow pipe that takes you to the first Star Coin. It's in the middle of a current pushing up. Jump out of the water and pound the ground to reach it. Before you reach the midpoint, there will be a random coin block and a giant Cheep-Cheep. To the right are Red Coins and, below them, a yellow pipe blocked by brick blocks. If you have the Gold Flower, you can access this pipe. It leads to a room with brick blocks that can be turned into quick cash. The pipe to the right takes you directly to the second Star Coin, but you can't quite reach it. Go to the right, up the left side, then the right, go left, and down to reach it. There will be a giant Cheep-Cheep waiting for you at the top, as well as a Starman in the middle item block. After you take out the Cheep-Cheep to the right, go through the green pipe below. The current from the blue pipe prevents you from getting the third Star Coin, so hit the ? Switch above. Leave the area and go through the green pipe at the end for the flag.

New Super Mario Bros. 2: 3-4
There's more purple water in this level. There are a few Wigglers in this level, as well as crates that bob in the purple water. Don't stand on them for too long or they'll sink. Get some Red Coins and the first Star Coin over a Wiggler on a crate. Jump from the ledge to the right to get it. There's a ? Switch overhead that makes coins appear from the green pipe to the right. Go through the red pipe. This will take you to the midpoint. Here's where things get tricky. The purple water will periodically rise here, to the level marked on the side of the rocks. You'll be jumping on and from boxes. When the water lowers, quickly run to the right under a ledge for the second Star Coin and run back the way you came. The purple water will come through there. Immediately, you'll see two item blocks. Between them is an invisible block with a vine to Coin Heaven. Climb up the platforms, activate the Gold Ring and send the Koopa shell down the path for lots of coins and an item. It drops you back down where the vine is. To the right, up in an alcove, is the third Star Coin. Get it and go left and over the ledge for coins. Soon, you'll reach the green pipe to the flag. There's a Wiggler there. This leads to the Ghost House. Under the ledge with the green pipe to the flag is a red pipe blocked by brick blocks. Break them with a Raccoon Tail or Koopa shell. There's a Gold Block. Jump off the crate to reach the stairs to the Red Goal to 3-B.
