Super Mario 3D World: Flower-7 -- Pipeline Boom Lagoon

Grab the Cannon Box and cross the water with the Madpoles to reach the pipe. Hit the item blocks to form bridges so you can reach the crates above for a Mushroom. Nearby is a Goomba sand sculpture that contains Microgoombas. Drop down into the water and you'll find Rammerheads and Bloopers. There are some gray bricks to the far right. Break them with the Cannon Box for the first Green Star. Swim up for the warp box to the midpoint.

There are spike blocks in the water here. Swim up between the spike blocks to find more spike blocks and Bloopers, near the second Green Star. Swim down, following the arrow, then break the gray bricks for a Green Ring. The Green Coins will give you the third Green Star. Use cannonballs to make collecting the coins easier. Swim up, to the left of the green pipe, for a clear pipe that takes you to a green pipe and two Moneybags. The green pipe will take you to the flagpole and a Bowser sand sculpture, which contains coins.

Super Mario 3D World: Flower-5 -- Sprawling Savanna Rabbit Run

You'll need Toad for this level. You start on the sprawling savanna. There's a giant bunny with a glow. Chase it around, using the boost pads. Catching it gives you the first Green Star. There are small bunnies, one of which will give you a Lucky Bell, and some Moneybags. Beware of the Conkdors in the level. On the left side of the savanna, near the edge, is a clear pipe that takes you to the back wall. Here, you can collect Red Coins. On the right side is another clear pipe. This takes you to the second Green Star. Return to the back wall and take the pipe on the left up the wall. You'll find a few Conkdors near a Toad stamp. Step on it to make the third Green Star appear on the moving clouds in front of the flagpole.

Super Mario 3D World: Flower-3 -- Piranha Creeper Creek after Dark

It's dark here. Instead of a Light Box, grab a Fire Flower and light the torches to illuminate the area. There are many Piranha Creepers and a few Fire Piranhas. You can largely ignore them, but make sure to watch where you're going. There's purple water here. If you need another Fire Flower, hit the invisible block above the POW Block. Light all of the torches in the area, including the torch that has a Fire Piranha in it for the first Green Star. It appears near the pipe to the next area.

The midpoint is here. There are invisible clouds to the left lead to some coins, a couple of POW Blocks, and an invisible Moneybag. The pipe at the end returns you to the midpoint. Up ahead, cross the purple water and stand on spinning platforms. This is difficult, but do your best to defeat the enemies and light all of the torches. There are Fire Piranhas, Para Dry Bones, and sleeping Piranha Creepers. At the end, near the pipe, the second Green Star will appear after you light all of the torches. Keep the Piranha Creeper alive so you can bounce off of it to reach the Green Star. Go through the pipe and light the few torches in the area, which makes the third Green Star appear over the final Piranha Creeper in front of the flagpole. Bounce off of it to reach the flagpole.

Super Mario 3D World: 6-3 -- Hands-On Hall

You'll need 100 Green Stars to unlock this level. This level takes place inside and outside a Japanese-style house with music to match. You'll start in an empty hallway. Touch what looks like the back wall using the Game Pad to make the doors slide open, revealing a pipe. Go through the pipe to a room with Goombas. Get a Boomerang Flower from the item block. You can now throw boomerangs, which give you a range attack with the potential for combos. Touch the door to the right and go behind the wall. Go all the way to the right and you'll find an invisible block with an item in it. Go back left and open the door. Carefully go up the ramp, as there is a Spike throwing spike bars down the ramp. Go left and open the doors to reveal two P-Switches. Take out the Galoomba before it hits you. The left P-Switch lowers the stairs to the left. The right P-Switch makes two Goombas appear. Kill them for Goomba Caps. When wearing the Goomba Cap, enemies will not notice you. If you run into an enemy, you'll lose the Goomba Cap.

Go up the stairs and ring the gong (by touching it on the Game Pad) for lots of coins. Ahead are more sliding doors. The first Green Star is behind these doors, but you have to wait for the wall to move first. Just ahead is a clock and an invisible Moneybag. To the right is the warp box behind some doors with many Goombas to the midpoint, which is outside. This is part of the building's roof. There are Thwomps, Spikes, Goombas, and Key Coins here. The second Green Star is nearby, in the gap to the right. Jump the gap or use a boomerang to get it. On the other side of the gap are Propeller Blocks. When wearing them, press (A) to jump, then hold (A) to fly. You can only wear one item at a time, so if you want the Propeller Block, lose the Goomba Cap by taking damage. The five Key Coins are all over here, but not hard to find. Check the top levels of the roof if you're missing any. The warp box is on the top level.

The warp box takes you back inside. Ringing the first gong makes Goombas appear, but the second one makes coins appear. Ahead, you'll run into a few sets of Spikes. Kill the first three you find. Walk towards the front wall, where the spike bars were going and you'll wind up outside. If you still have the Propeller Block, fly up onto the roof and you'll find the stamp on a cloud. It's well hidden. Carefully drop down and go back inside. There are more Spikes inside. To the right, you'll find a warp box and a gong. Ring the gong to make a Mystery Box appear. This takes you almost outside, where a Spike is waiting in a cage on the side of the building above where the Thwomps were. Kill the Spike for the third Green Star. Go through the warp box, which takes you to the roof and the flagpole. There are golden Cheep-Cheep statues. Hit the triple item blocks under the Spike to defeat it, allowing you to reach the flag more easily.

The stamp is of a Moneybag.

Super Mario 3D World: 5-1 -- Sunshine Seaside

It's time for a walk on a long stretch of beach. There are Biddybuds and Koopas here, as well as orange disks with a key symbol. These are Key Coins. Collect five of them to unlock a warp box to move on. Walk to the right and you'll see sand sculptures. Stand on the right Goomba sand sculpture and ground pound it for the first Green Star. There are clear pipes along the beach. Go up one of them to reach a cloud for a Key Coin. There's another under a sand hill near three Koopas. Go out into the water and you'll find a hole. There's a pipe down there that leads to a room with Koopas on a tile floor. Clear the tiles for the second Green Star. The pipe will take you near the locked warp box. You'll find a Key Coin in a nearby tree and a 1-up in a clear pipe. Ahead is a Red Coin Ring, which will give you a Boomerang Flower. Use the boomerang on the nearby Chargin' Chucks, who are guarding the last Key Coin. Alternatively, ground pound the right Goomba sand sculpture for a Goomba Mask, which will make all enemies ignore you. There's a Gold Shell in the Bowser sculpture, which creates coins. Go all the way to the right and you'll find a hole in the wall. Inside, Biddybuds are chasing Captain Toad. Defeat them all for the third Green Star.

Go through the warp box to the midpoint. There's a Moneybag in the area. Take the pipe underground, where Plessie is. There's a narrow waterway here and you must cross narrow passages and moving bridges. On the right side are some high planks with the stamp. Jump at the top of the slope to reach them. At the end is the pipe that leads to the flagpole, where there are Biddybuds and a Koopa.

The stamp is of a Koopa kicked out of its shell.

Super Mario 3D World: 3-5 -- Pipeline Lagoon

Despite World 3 supposedly having an ice theme, this level takes you to the beach. There are hidden blocks with coins, as well as hidden Moneybags. In the water are three Goombas in spiky inner tubes. Take the pipe to a different part of the beach and go underwater. There are lots of Cheep-Cheep and Porcupuffers here. You'll find pipes in the walls and the floor. Grab an item from the random item block if you like. Where you first find the Porcupuffers, swim up to the ceiling. You'll find that the water rises, allowing you to reach the first Green Star in an alcove. Go through the pipe, which takes you past a sunken ship. There are coins and clocks along the way.

The pipe will take you to the midpoint. Get back in the water and swim towards the ceiling to find a hidden room with the stamp and a Cannon Box. Go back into the water and drop down near the coin rings, then swim left. Aim the Cannon Box at the crack in the wall. This reveals a pipe to the second Green Star and stacks of coins. Return and use the Cannon Box on the Porcupuffers ahead. Keep going to the right, then swim up near the green pipe. You'll find a clear pipe that leads to the third Green Star and a Moneybag. Take the pipe in the area to the flag.

The stamp is of a Cheep-Cheep.

New Super Mario Bros. 2: Star-7

This level takes place outside a volcano. There's lava, fire snakes, and Podoboos. Standing on certain rocks will make coins appear. The first Moon Coin is under a rock arch, over a donut lift above the lava. It's in the path of a Podoboo, so time your jump carefully. Go over some rock arches to reach the midpoint. Fireballs will start appearing. There are two item blocks with a space between them. Jump in that space to hit an invisible block with a vine. Avoid firebars and fireballs while jumping on donut lifts to reach the second Moon Coin. Drop back down. The brick block between two item blocks can become a Gold Block. Next to it is a Red Coin Ring. It will make a Moneybag appear. The last coin is under a rock, so it's hard to get. The third Moon Coin is over a donut lift in a gap between rocks. Wall jump back up if you need to. You'll pass a large double firebar and a stack of fire-breathing Bowser heads. There is a fire snake on the stairs.

Coin Total: 68,008

New Super Mario Bros. 2: Star-1

It takes 90 Star Coins to access Star World. There are no secret goals, just a linear path to the castle. Let's finish this!

This level is a dark world, made mainly of brick blocks. I don't recommend using a Gold Flower excessively here, as you may be destroying the floor. We still have special coins to collect, so what could they be? Go to the right and grab the shell and use it to hit the brick block over the first narrow gap. This will make a P-Switch appear, turning all brick blocks into coins. Hit the ? Switch to drop the bridge. The next switch is on the left side of the right brick block pair. Go over the brick block ferris wheel and you'll come across the first special coin. The shape on the coin is that of a 3-up Moon from Super Mario World. Moon Coins in Star World? Oh well. The brick block to the right has a P-Switch. Hit it to turn the brick blocks into coins and make Silver Coins and drop down. It's okay; there's a floor below. Pound the brick blocks over the green pipe to make the bridges move out of the way and use the pipe as a cannon to the first Moon Coin. There is a brick block jutting out of the right wall past the second ferris wheel. Pound the blocks to the right of it and hit it from below to make a vine appear. It leads to Coin Heaven. Hit the P-Switch to make some ground to stand on, then hit the item block outside of the ring for a Gold Flower. You'll drop back down to the midpoint. Past the next ferris wheel is the second Moon Coin over the gap. Go over the gap and use a shell to get it. Next is a Red Coin Ring. Activating it will make a Moneybag hop around, releasing the Red Coins. Next, keep going to the right without hitting the ? Switch. Go under the ledge for the third Moon Coin, then hit the switch. It will raise the bridge to the flagpole, blocking off the Moon Coin.

New Super Mario Bros.: 6-3

This level takes us back to the jungle. Some of the item blocks are red now, have spikes, and rotate. Hit them when the spikes are pointed away. Fire Piranhas are also here. After the first set of pipes, there's an item block dangling from a string that's bouncing under the 1st Star Coin. Hit the item block, then jump off it to get the 1st Star Coin. Go down the red pipe to find a log that spins in purple water. It will dump you into the purple water if you stand on it too long, so keep jumping and moving. There are some Red Coins down here. Go up the pipe to the right, avoid the Piranha Plants and go down the second green pipe from the red pipe for the 2nd Star Coin. Come back up the same pipe and go down the last green pipe in the area. Go up the green pipe at the end of that area, which has some coins. You'll soon reach the midpoint. There's a lone coin on the ground, which turns out to be a Moneybag. Chase it down for coins, if you like. Towards the end, go up, over, and left to get the 3rd Star Coin. The flag is nearby.

New Super Mario Bros.: 5-2

This level takes place underground. This level has Spike Buzzies crawling all over platforms and they're not easy to get rid of, so we have to dodge them. Making life more difficult are the bats you'll find periodically hanging from the ceiling. You'll also come across Piranha Plants in some of the pipes. You'll need to be at least Super Mario to get the first Star Coin by breaking brick blocks. Along the way, you'll find a couple of springs. The first spring will be near a yellow pipe overhead. Spring into the pipe and you'll go outside and find a Moneybag disguised as a coin. Follow it to the end of the area and bounce off it to reach the second Star Coin. The third Star Coin floats between two platforms where Spike Buzzies crawl. Time your jump from the spring to get it. Near the third Star Coin, the path splits. If you take the top route, you have to deal with Spike Buzzies and Piranha Plants. The bottom route has lots of bats. There are more bats and Spike Buzzies up until the end.
