News About the 3DS

Nintendo just announced that the price of the 3DS will drop by $80 in the United States. Similar price drops may be occurring in other regions. For those who have the 3DS already, if you connect to the e-shop, you will have the opportunity later this year to download 20 games for free on the e-shop. Nintendo also mentioned that Super Mario 3D will be released in November and Mario Kart 3D will be released in December. Well, this might give me time to work on another game before I play Super Mario 3D, if I finish Super Mario 64 DS in time. Nintendo also mentioned that they will have a strong lineup going into the holiday season. Why they didn't have such a strong lineup at launch is beyond me. It probably would have been better to push back the 3DS release until Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time launched for better sales. So it's about 4 more months until the 3DS gets a Mario title. What can I play in that amount of time? Stay tuned to find out!
