This time, we're going to a special part of the level which does not appear to exist due to the snow. We go to the icy water near the snowman and jump on a Spindrift, the strange creatures with spinning flowers on their heads. Doing so will make us jump higher and slowly descend while spinning. We use the boost to go onto the ledge, in the direction of the ice maze. On the ledge, there are two item blocks. The right one has a Shiny Shell, the left has a Star.

The Star is in the same location as the N64 version and you get it the same way. Nothing different.

The next Star is Snowman's Silver Star.
