Dark Bowser's dark power is complete. He's waiting at the top of Peach's Castle. When you're absolutely ready, go north. Torches light up as Bowser walks past them. Dark Bowser stands with Peach at his side. He says the dark power must be freed. He sends dark clouds swirling in the air and the kingdom plunges into darkness. Broque Monsieur and other civilians swirl in bubbles overhead. The wind pushes Bowser back, but he's not impressed. Chippy tells Bowser that he can count on them and that they can work together to stop this. Mario and Luigi jump and Bowser thinks he hears them. Chippy says he's correct. Bowser can't hear well due to the wind. Dark Bowser says the kingdom will vanish along with everyone in it. Bowser's not going to let that happen, as the kingdom is his.
In this battle, you won't always want to use Special Attacks as Bowser. Use them initially, while Dark Bowser and Bowser are the same size. Dark Bowser will toss a large boulder into the air, then break it up with fire. Some of it will rain down on Bowser, so duck. Try to punch the rocks that fall in front of Bowser, which will wind up in Dark Bowser's mouth, causing him to swell and reel. Dark Bowser will also use some of Bowser's Special Attacks. After you do enough damage, Dark Bowser will collapse. Fawful, in his spider form, will heal 1000 HP and make Dark Bowser larger. At this point, punch Dark Bowser in the belly. This will make him spit up Fawful, who runs away. Inhale Fawful, but know that Dark Bowser will also try to inhale him.
When you inhale him, Fawful will change a little. He'll have three legs and two lenses for his glasses. You can attack all of these five points. If you try to use an attack, one or two of the legs will be hidden. Destroy the legs first to make Fawful collapse, then destroy the glasses. The glasses will crack when they take enough damage. One of Fawful's attacks is to chase the bros. On the top screen, a dark rock will appear, which will be color-coded. Have the bro jump to avoid the rock. If it hits, Fawful might eat the bro. The attack will continue until the bros reach the light. Fawful will also stick his hands in the floor in front of the bros and send energy balls at the bros. Use the hammer to get rid of them. The larger energy balls will return to Fawful and get rid of the arm during the attack. When Fawful collapses into the ground, use Special Attacks to attack the Dark Star Core. The Dark Star Core will make an arrow appear that circles over the heads of the bros. It will eventually point at the ground, so jump over it in unison. The Dark Star Core will then fire the arrow at the bros, so hammer it back to do damage. After a while, Fawful will leave and go back to Dark Bowser and the process will repeat.
Once you defeat Fawful, Dark Bowser will start reeling. He'll hold his head. Bowser's ready to end this fight with a KO punch. Repeatedly hit (X). The final punch will make Bowser build up rainbow star power. Dark Bowser explodes in a dark light. He admits defeat. Bowser says no cheap imitation can compare to the real Bowser. Dark Bowser can't believe that he was defeated even with the dark power completed. The Dark Star returns to its original form, rises into the sky, and explodes, removing the darkness, and revealing just how damaged Peach's Castle is. Chippy asks Bowser how Peach is doing. Bowser says he can kidnap her now. Inside Bowser, a voice says, "Why... The failing..." What remains of Fawful appears. He's speaking less clearly than usual. "You...mustaches...with...why...fury...whenever... Fawful...just wanted...some kingdom conquering... Fawful tried... Fawful gave the 110 percents... Fawful worked the overtime... Fawful was the team player... Fawful pu in the hours... Fawful got the hands dirty... But every time... Always... The mustaches...arrive... Always in Fawful's way... Alwaysalwaysalways..." Starlow says to give it up. "I have remorse... Fawful understands... Fawful gives up... Fawful will disappear with no troubles... Here Fawful goes... The disappearing... Forever disappearing... WITH YOU!" Fawful explodes, which releases everyone from Bowser's body.
All the Toads, the bros, and Starlow are spat up. This wakes Peach up and she rushes to them. She calls the bros and Starlow, which is the first time you've heard her name in a long time. Starlow says Fawful's last ditch effort saved everyone. Toadsworth is thankful that Peach is safe. Bowser is not thrilled that the bros just came out of his gut. Starlow says not to think about it too much. Bowser recognizes her as the voice of Chippy. He's enraged that the bros were hanging out in his body and starts breathing fire. Everyone else flees to safety. Peach wishes the bros well, leaving the bros to deal with Bowser... in the credits!
In the credits, the bros defeat Bowser, sending him packing with his minions. Repairs start on both castles. Bowser is confined to bedrest and Peach and the bros have a surprise planned. Birdley flies a present to Bowser's Castle. Private Goomp, Sergeant Guy, and Corporal Paraplonk are in Bowser's room, trying to rejoin as minions. Birdley arrives. Bowser wants the bird out, but Kamek says Birdley has a message from Peach's Castle. Starlow's in the package, here to check on Bowser to see if he'll be attacking Peach's Castle anytime soon. Bowser says he's remodeling his castle, which isn't evil. Starlow likes his current attitude and tells him to enjoy his present. Bowser doesn't want it. He shoos everyone out of his room, letting the three traitors be his minions again. When he's alone, Bowser opens the package, finding a cake. There are Peach, Mario, and Luigi figurines, and Bowser's face drawn in icing. Chakron says that he has watched us and we have done well. He shows us our ranks. He says everyone grew super strong. If you have achieved Rainbow Rank and Final Boss Rank, he will praise you, which is something he rarely does to the unenlightened. We are absolutely amazing. The ranks sparkle.
And with that, we are done with this game. I had a lot of fun playing the third game in my part of the Mario series. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did playing the game. As you may expect, I will be playing Mario and Luigi: Dream Team next. What awaits the bros and Peach on Pi'illo Island? What will appear in Luigi's dreams? Will Fawful make an appearance? We shall see. It will launch in the United States in August, so it will be a while before I get to play it. I want to keep the series going uninterrupted. In the meantime, I will be on hiatus from blogging, but I will still be here. Until then, please enjoy some of my older posts.

Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story -- Part 22: He Finally Says It
Before you deal with Fawful, you'll want to level up the bros each to level 40. You'll notice on the bros' and Bowser's ranks that the line trails off to the end, suggesting something is beyond that. The bros will level up to the final rank, Rainbow Rank. This will also give the bros access to the Excellent!! Badge, which will fully restore HP or SP, or increase experience and coins gained, or multiply the power of the next attack by 4. You must get "Excellent" on ALL attacks or the meter will drain. Get Bowser to level 40 to reach Final Boss Rank, which is very fitting. You also get the Intruder Fangs to equip, which allows you to perform the same action twice.
Heal and save, then go north of the castle's front door through the gardens, to the throne room. Fawful is there, looking for something. He goes into the room to the right of the throne without noticing Bowser. Follow him into the conference room, where he's still looking for something, while singing. "Fawfully-doo! Where are you?! Dark Star, needing you! Dark power, yoo-hoo! WHERE TO FIND YOU..." Bowser approaches and Fawful says, "I have shock at you! You are surviving? Fawful hates you!" Bowser says that the castle couldn't get rid of him. "But I am Lord Fawful! I am ruling the world! I have chortles... You are underestimating Fawful, who has the suction machine for draining the dark power! Fawful only got half the power, but I am thinking it is enough to KO you, the king of stupid! You have gotten in Fawful's way at each of the turns... Just like the red and green mustaches who I hate... Fawful hates your faces..." Bowser is insulted to be lumped in a group with Mario. "But... Now... Fawful says farewell to all your fink-rat faces forever! Bowser! Meet... FURY OF FAWFUL!"
It's time to battle Dark Fawful. You can attack Fawul or his headgear, the Vacuum Helmet. Attack the Vacuum Helmet first. When it takes enough damage, it will come off and hover in the air. Vacuum it and let the bros deal with it. With enough damage, it will explode, preventing it from healing Fawful. Fawful will hover in the air and make four black holes appear. They are portals he'll use to shoot energy balls at Bowser. Some will appear above him, so duck. Punch the ones in front of him. Fawful will also fire his ray gun. Duck when the ray of stars gets too close. When Fawful takes enough damage, a Goomba will appear and tell Bowser to use the Goomba Corps to handle Fawful's next attack. Fawful will surround himself with energy balls and Bowser can punch the Goombas into the energy balls or Fawful. The energy balls will attack Bowser when he stops punching Goombas. Use your best Special Attacks and you'll defeat him in no time.
After the battle, Fawful says, "NOOAARRGH!", then shrinks into a spider-like creature. He says, "I have fury? Fury?", then scurries off. Starlow wonders if Fawful will behave himself. She also has a bad feeling about Fawful taking some of the Dark Star's power. If Dark Bowser finds him, the dark power will be complete. Bowser walks out of the conference room to find Fawful and Dark Bowser, who inhales him. Dark Bowser gets a pair of legs and awakens at last. He punches the throne, revealing a doorway behind it. Starlow is worried about this worst-case scenario and says they'll have to fight Dark Bowser. Bowser only wants Peach and the dark power.
Go through the doorway and pick up some items. Ahead, you'll find Dark Bowser. He says his power is complete and he will take over. He breathes fire at Bowser, who counters with his own fire. Hit (X) repeatedly. Dark Bowser will fly off. He'll breathe fire on Bowser, making him curl up into a spike ball and activate the Chest Station. Send the bros into the Chest Station so Bowser can have an aerial battle with Dark Bowser. Aim so that Bowser hits Dark Bowser from below to make him lose health. Make sure he doesn't do the same to you. He takes a hit if you hit him with more power than he does. If you lose, you'll just drop back down and have to start again. Once you beat him, he climbs higher. Follow him up the tower, using the bros in the Chest Station. At the top is a Save Block. Get the items, then go east or west. There are patches of soft dirt on the walls. Both sides have items. The east side has a Chakroad. Ahead is the final battle. Make any other preparations you want, heal, and save.

Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story -- Part 21: If only it were under Peach's Control
The Dark Star transformed into Dark Bowser and is looking for Fawful, who has drained much of its power. Go south and you'll see Dark Bowser break open the castle's front door. Go north first and grab the items in the garden and conference room, as well as other rooms. When you're ready, hit the Save Block and exit the castle through the front door.
"Dark Star! Dark Star! Fawful is wanting you!" Fawful appears, wearing his headgear and a new outfit with the Dark Star on it. Bowser calls him a pain. "It is you who are the pain to me! I am needing more power! Your meddling has made Fawful have a fury large as the world! Bowser! It is time for meeting and greeting with your doom! For now it is the end of the final act of the finale’s closing encore! I am having this castle! And now I am thinking... It needs Fawfulization! Time for the remodeling! SUPER PEACH'S CASTLE OF FURY!" The ground starts shaking. The castle slowly transforms into a giant robot. It stomps Bowser, leaving him unconscious.
Go to Rump Command and save your globin, then ford the river of adrenaline. Once Bowser is revived, he once again becomes giant. The Toads in Toad Town freak out. The castle fires off dark energy into the sky. It lands behind Bowser, creating a black hole. After Bowser attacks, it will trying drawing him in. Slide the stylus repeatedly to the right to run away. The castle will try to punch Bowser, so slide the stylus to defend. If you breathe fire, the castle will throw out its flammable ballast, which is mushrooms. The castle will also send out Mechawfuls. Shoot them down with fireballs. Breathe fire when it sends out an army of Mechawfuls. It will launch an unavoidable attack, which is a laser that will knock Bowser into the black hole. Slide the stylus to get out or you will slowly take damage. When Bowser flies out, he'll fly into the castle, doing extra damage. It will try to create another black hole, but Bowser knocks it behind the castle. The castle will put up a force field, so it won't take damage, but you can still move it. Bowser will roll into a ball. Move the stylus in a clockwise circle to push against the castle, which gets it stuck in the black hole. The force field will be destroyed. Keep pushing it into the black hole when the force field is up. Punch the missiles it launches. When it presents spikes, slide up with the stylus to make Bowser jump. When the castle has half of its health left, the black holes move much closer, meaning any hit will send either of them into a black hole. Later, its invisibility field will activate. This means it will turn invisible when it fires out of a black hole. Time your attack well. When its health is very low, both it and Bowser will be sucked into the black holes. Launch Bowser out of the black hole repeatedly at the castle, timing it so that the castle's spikes are not bared. Keep up the attack until the castle is defeated.
Bowser says that was a fight he didn't expect. Dark Bowser appears, then disappears after Bowser tells him to give back Peach. He explains the situation to Chippy, who tells the bros. She says the only way to win is to team up with Bowser, even if he doesn't know it. She says to prepare and finish anything they want to get done. Send the bros into the castle via the front door, then go to the right. Go north into rooms where you can get items. There's running water on the east side, which can be used to extinguish the fire in the fireplace. You can items in the area north of there. You can drill under the stairs to move around. Now is the time to level up. Bowser can train in Peach's Castle and the bros should train in the Airway, when Bowser is near Midbus.

Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story -- Part 20: Unleash the Dark Power!
The bros have just entered the Airway, which changes with the temperature of the air. Surfaces may be slippery with ice and the water in some pipes frozen. The first enemies you encounter are Air Cheeps. They'll roll into the bros. When they roll into the bros, repeatedly hit them with the hammer until they are defeated. Go east and have Bowser step away from Midbus. There's a switch on the left wall, which you can't hit while frozen. This makes a bone drop down. Freeze the area and push the bone to the right. Thaw and hit the switch on the right wall. Use the bone that drops down to reach another switch. This will make the pipe to the right accessible. It will take you to a lower part of that area. This leads to another pipe to another area. There's a fire going when the area's thawed. There's a switch on the other side, but first, hit the ! Block above it. This will extinguish the fire. The switch will allow you to go west. East of the room with the fire is a Save Block, but you can't go past it. Go west on the lower path.
Go to the left, past the fire, and go up above it. Hit the ! Block to make water drop into the bone bucket. Freeze the water and hit the bucket from below to knock your ice cube onto the floor. Slide it to the right to reach a switch. This opens small gaps in the floor over the fire. Make another ice cube, push it over the gaps and melt it. Hit the switch to open the path to the left. Hit the Save Block and go through the pipe. The Dark Star is ahead. It eats a piece of Bowser's DNA. Starlow suggests trying to attack it. Make an ice cube and slide it into the Dark Star. Instead of hurting it, the Dark Star grows large arms and punches the ice cube, as well as some walls ahead. It may help to make the floor icy to make the jump.
To the east are a set of blocks riding on tracks. The bros can grab on them when they're thawed and fall off when the blocks freeze. Here you'll find gaseous enemies called Stonks. Go up and to the west. This area has three pipes. The yellow pipes on the sides lead to the top pipe next to the green on. Time your drop to the pipe in the middle of the room from the moving block. The pipe is marked by the coins. In the next area, send Mini Mario out to hit the switch below. It makes a platform appear. There's a switch higher up on the right wall. The third switch is on the left, accessible by the moving block. This makes a platform to the pipe appear. There's a blue pipe to the left and a green pipe to the right. The blue pipe takes you back to the second Save Block. The green pipe leads you to the Dark Star again. It eats another piece of DNA. Hit the switch to knock it into a block, which it destroys by breathing fire. It's starting to act more and more like Bowser. Save and go through the top green pipe.
The yellow pipe leads to the second Save Block. Go to the right and an Emoglobin will approach. He says the flat Emoglobin is a Liftoglobin, which moves when it's cold. Freeze the air and use the stylus to move it. Touch the Liftglobin to make it stop. Both bros are needed to make it move. If you go too far away, it will return to where you found him. You'll find Airnapses here, which act like Napses. Above you, the floor and ceiling are electrified. Hit the ! Block to open a path. Take the Liftoglobin to the pipe in the top right corner.
Across the gap is the Totemglobin. (There's a Liftoglobin below if you fall.) They have a test to allow you to pass through to the pipe behind them. Eight blocks appear in the room and they must be hit in numerical order within the time limit of 50 seconds. Remember the path you have to take to go as fast as possible. I had 15 seconds to spare. The pipe leads to an area with many enemies. A new enemy is an Air Cannon. It fires Bullet Bills that become invisible. Knock them away with a hammer. The Liftoglobin is to the right. Ahead, the path is electrified. Take the path to the left to open the blocked path and go through the green pipe. Go up, over, and down to exit to the west (the pipe is a cannon to a block with Star Candy).
Ahead, the Dark Star briefly suffocates the bros, then takes more DNA. This piece allows it to body slam. Use the pipe as a cannon to reach the ! Block to open a path. Go west. The red pipe leads to the second Save Block. Go west through the green pipe. Freeze the area and go past the green pipe spewing water. Hit the two invisible blocks next to the platform on the right. Drop down into the mucus pool to reach that platform. This will give you access to extra items in the room with the fourth Save Block. Heal and save.
Ahead, the room flashes and changes colors. The Dark Star is ahead and the bros will have to deal with it. It's now or never. Starlow gives them the chance to go back and prepared themselves. Hit the ! Block ahead when you're ready. The Dark Star is sending out sparks everywhere. It splits into four and dissolves. The four pieces reform to form a Dark Star that greatly resembles Bowser, without legs. It tries to inahles the bros and Starlow. It gets Luigi and spits him out. It reforms as the Dark Star again and engages the bros in battle.
At first, the Dark Star is invincible. Do some basic hammer and jump attacks to fill your meter. It will create Dark Satellmites. Attack these when you get the chance. They'll fire beams above and at the bros. When they've been deactivated, the Dark Star will give them a bomb to attack the bros. Just have one bro hit the Dark Satellmite back into the Dark Star to weaken it and you can do damage (after two of them hit it). It will fall to the ground and fire a laser at the bro that initiates an attack. A good attack to deal with the Dark Satellmites without wasting energy on the Dark Star is Snack Baskets. One of the Dark Star's attacks is to split into five or seven and attack the bros. Just before it reaches the bros, each piece will become invisible. If there's another piece behind it, hitting it will knock the piece behind it out of the way. It will also shine a light on the bros to make their shadows appear. They'll circle the Dark Star while it shoots lightning at them. Have the respective bro jump when they're targeted. After a while, it will fire a beam at the bros like how Bowser breathes fire. Starlow will circle the bros to take them to safety. Don't hang up there forever, because it will knock you out of the sky. When it's defeated (for me, after three Falling Stars), it will start spinning and the bros will start running away. Press both (A) and (B) repeatedly. It will then explode. You get 9999 experience points for this battle.
The Dark Star explodes into four pieces and dissolves into Bowser's body. Bowser spits out some clouds and they form the Dark Star's version of Bowser before his very eyes. It tells him that it copied his body and power. Bowser doesn't like the idea of someone copying his style. Dark Star Bowser says the power he copied isn't dark enough. It's power has been drained and it's not complete. It's looking for the dark power it needs and selects Peach, probably because she's an easy target, not because she's harboring dark power. It inhales Peach, but obviously, she doesn't have the dark power it requires. Bowser lays claim to Peach. "I HAVE POWER! Where is the Dark Star?!" Fawful is nearby, saying, "Fawful has more suction for the rest of the dark power!" The Dark Star recognizes the voice, saying Fawful drained it of its power. It breaks the electrical barrier and leaves. Bowser is upset that the Dark Star copied his moves in kidnapping Peach. He says there's only room for one Bower, and I agree. He follows it to see it clear a path ahead.

Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story -- Part 19: Ice Cold Darkness
Bowser's made it the second floor of Peach's Castle. Roll to push the device back to launch Bowser. Push it all the way back to launch Bowser into the sky. Some giant Fire Piranhas are growing up there and hit Bowser with fireballs. He lands on the balcony, in flames. "I HAVE CHORTLES!" Fawfulcopters appear and say, "Are you liking them? The giant Piranha Plants Fawful has raised? They are enjoying the barbecue of whatever goes near their mouths! Do they give you the angry face? Then just fly up and hit them with spikiness! Oh, but I have sadness! Tears of laughing for poor Bowser, who does not fly! I HAVE CHORTLES!" On the inside, the Chest Station is reacting. Jump into the cannon in the center and it will send the bros to what resembles a sling-shot. Tugging it makes Bowser jump. Pull all the way back to make Bowser jump really high. Tug in various directions to make Bowser go the way you want him to. Don't hit the Chomps or let the Piranha Plants eat you on your way up. Try to stay towards the center. At the top are the giant Piranha Plants. Hit them repeatedly while dodging their fireballs. As they take damage, they become paler. Once they are defeated, Bowser drops back down to the castle, no longer on fire.
Go west and slam into the cracked for to drop down. You'll land in the servant's quarters. Use the treadmill to open the path to the east. Go south three times, heal, and save. Go south and then north on the left side of the room. Fawful, Midbus, Peach, and the Dark Star are this room. "I HAVE CHORTLES! AND I HAVE EXCITEMENT! At last, the Dark Star awakes like a naughty napping baby!" Midbus brings Bowser to Fawful's attention. "Fawful hates your timing! A nuisance barge barging in a the critical time for us!" Bowser just wants Peach and the Dark Star and he'll call it even. Midbus says he'll deal with Bowser. "I have uneasiness... Bowser keeps appearing like an ugly rabbit from the hat of a magician who stinks! So Fawful will fight to help Midbus have victory! But Midbus has pride... So Fawful leaves him to you! MIDBUS! POWER UP!" Fawful pulls out a ray gun and shoots Midbus with it, powering him up with ice powers.
As always, Special Attacks work best. Midbus will make Snawfuls, Fawfulized snowmen, that Bowser can inhale. Let the bros deal with them using Fire Flowers. Any that remain will heal Midbus. The Snawfuls will melt down and create vapor clouds. When six of them appear, Bowser will exhale the vapor, which will freeze and land in Midbus's crown, preventing him from using certain attacks. He'll climb up to the ceiling and throw snowballs at Bowser, many of which will miss. Just duck when you need to. He'll also slam Bowser from the ceiling. He'll roll in on a giant snowball with a Bob-omb in it. Punch the Bob-omb to blow up the snowball. When you do enough damage, he'll hide the Bob-omb in the snow, so try to keep track of where it is. Sometimes, he'll punch Bowser. A few rounds of Broggy Bonker should be enough to deal with him.
Once he is defeated, he says that no one will beat Fawful. He freezes in place, spewing icy vapor from his nose. The glass encasing Peach shatters and the Dark Star wakes up and breaks free. "It it it it it it it... IT WAKES! It has awakeness at last! Fawful has waited so long! I HAVE SUCTION!" He breaks out his headgear, saying, "With this, I am taking the Dark Star's Power!" Lightning strikes all around and the exit is blocked. "I... have... DARKNESS! So very darkness! The dark power builds like a skyscraper of evil! With the dark power in me, the world.... The world... IS FOR FAWFUL!" The dark power transforms Fawful, but Bowser punches him away, saying the world is his. He wants to take the Dark Star, and the world with it. The Dark Star circles Bowser, with mouth agape, then splits apart and enters his body. Bowser tells Starlow the Dark Star tasted funky. His chest starts burning, so he inhales some of Midbus's vapors for relief. This makes the Airway react. The freezing air freezes the water in the pipes. Starlow says freezing and thawing the water will make it possible to reach new areas. She also tries to convince Luigi that he's not cold. Heal and hit the Save Block. The enemies are tougher here, making this a good place to train.

Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story -- Part 18: The Key to Magic
Bowser's been freed from the safe, so the bros return to him. Starlow wants advice, but Bowser's back hurts and he can't move. The Lumbar Nook is reacting, but first go to Toad Square. Talk to Toadbert on the top level. He's been having a weird dream. In it, he's drinking tea and time is passing slowly. Then, he hears (A)(B)(X)(Y)[L][R](Y)(X)(B)(A) being pressed. Time starts passing quickly. Now, with that little information, head to the Lumbar Nook.
Toadsworth is there, enjoying some peace and quiet. The bros explain that they came to heal Bowser's back. Toadsworth noticed the floor became hard and darkened. He suggests stimulating the spot in the center, but his cane isn't enough. Have the bros drill into that spot. It starts working slowly. Toadbert appears and wants to watch. Their dialogue emphasizes that this process will take a while. They have tea and Toadsworth sets an alarm for when the process will be done. You can let the process go on its own, which will take several (more than 5, possibly more than 10 minutes), or start pressing the buttons from Toadbert's dream. The alarm should go off within seconds of entering the 10-button combination. The area returns to its normal color and Bowser feels his back loosening up. He feels better than normal and is flexible enough to roll into a ball. He can safely roll over spiky areas. This is the spike ball move, which allows him to roll up areas with soft dirt and destroy statues. Use [R], then hit (X) to roll into a ball, then roll around.
Starlow informs Bowser that he's in Peach's Castle, the Dark Star will awaken soon, and that he needs to save Peach. Roll up and out of there. Go south twice and destroy the Fawfulized statues. One of them has a Chakroad. Bowser has to deal with the enemies here. One Mechawful has a Blitty. Roll up into the turret to get into the castle. Inside, you'll find Alarm Bob-ombs and Naplocks. Inhale the Alarm Bob-ombs. A Naplock has a Blitty. Go west twice and you'll come across three Fawfulcopters with keys. Fawful says, "Fawful won't lie. Fawful has shock at you getting here. But that shock turns to chortles as you stop here! There are doors here that need keys, and Fawful has them! You will wander forever in my modified castle of Peach until you cry from lack of doors!" Bowser says he'll break the doors down. "You have energy like a little angry battery with no friends. But even if you get past the doors, the castle of Peach... Oh, but I have secrecy! Fawful says no more! Are you catching my Fawfulcopters?"
Go south to the dining area. There's a Save Block and the Fawfulcopter with the blue key. It's behind the statues which you can destroy by rolling. It will fly off and go west. Follow it south, then back north again. It goes into the hole in the wall. You'll find Dark Trashures here, which give more money than regular Trashures. One of them has a Blitty. Roll up the back wall onto the stovetop to enter a different hole in the wall. Chase the Fawfulcopter out of there and follow it south. There are Dark Mechawfuls on wheels to deal with. One of them has the last Blitty you need. When the Dark Mechawful starts counting down, just before it reaches zero, punch to counter it. Duck when it fires a beam, then punch it when it stops. If Dark Fawful Guys appear on the top screen with a bomb over the enemies, inhale them to make the bomb drop. This will give you a great advantage in battle, if not end the battle entirely. The Fawfulcopter goes to the south over a spike pit. Push the green, shell-like device to the back to launch Bowser into the Fawfulcopter, making it drop the key.
Once you have all fifteen Blitties, give them to Broque Monsieur. The Blitties lie around the shop. Broque Monsieur gives Bowser a Block Band, Block Fangs, and a Block Ring. He also lets Bowser take him for a walk, which gives Bowser the Special Attack Broggy Bonker. Use the stylus to clean the dirt off of Broggy, then he'll attack the enemy twice, with all fifteen Blitties in tow. It is an incredibly powerful and cute attack.
Go through the northeast doorway, then go north through the door on the left to another spike pit with the green key. Follow it around and pin it into the wall to get the key. Go north, then west to the Save Block, then west to Peach's room, then west twice to a dirt wall. The Fawfulcopter with the red key is here. Follow it up the dirt wall and get the red key. Go north of the Save Block to find the doors the keys unlock. The green door has an Economy Ring, which reduces SP costs by 50%. The red door has a bunch of Magikoopas in a cage. Free them and Bowser can use Magikoopa Mob. Use the stylus to draw lines to light up every Magikoopa's wand to attack the enemy. The blue door leads to a spike pit with another shell-like device to launch Bowser. There are items to get here, so push it back varying lengths. To move forward, push almost all the way back and go through the left doorway on the top. Heal and save.
To the north, you'll see a machine with time bombs. Go east three times to a dirt wall. On the right side, on one of the platforms, you'll find a couple of gears. Spin them to raise a gate to the left. Quickly climb to the left to pass through before the gate closes. This requires precise controls, so it may take a few attempts. You can also go to the platform above and drop down. Roll west, then drop down the dirt wall and go west. This leads back to the room with the time bombs. Roll on the treadmill to lower the wall and use the time bomb to blow up the cracked wall. Go west three times from the room with the time bombs. Electricity will crackle on the floor below. Jump over the Bob-ombs and go east twice. Roll on the treadmill and blow up the wall. Go north twice, heal, and save.

Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story -- Part 9: Am I not Turtle-y Enough for the Turtle Club?
The bros are finally free! They're back to normal size and enjoying wandering around outside. Go west. The yellow pipe leads to Toad Town, but you can't go into town. Go up the stairs to the left. Go to the far left, then drop down, then go east. There's an item block with a Thrift Charm, a piece of gear that decreases the SP cost of a random Special Attack by 40%. Go back up and spin directly above the air vent. This leads to an air current, which will take you to a pipe in the clouds. The pipe takes you higher in the clouds. Use the air vents to reach higher clouds. Go through the pipe at the top.
Floating high above the clouds is a large block that looks like a square blue Koopa shell. Hit it and lots of smaller blocks fly off over the kingdom. Three blue Paratroopas with personal space issues fly up and are upset about what the bros just did. There were a lot of shells stuffed in that block until the bros knocked them out. The Paratroopas won't ask the bros to retrieve them. One of them is impressed with Mario's mustache. He asks if the bros have ever worn a shell. They're heavy and dense. The Paratroopas say the bros have to play a game. Two Paratroopas bring in a shell block and hitting it gives Mario a shell to wear. Mario will have to hit the flying Paratroopas to win, but the shell's too heavy. After a quick discussion, Luigi hits Mario with his hammer, sending him away from the clouds and back. The closest Paratroopa dares Mario to hit him as he floats vertically. Do that, then hit two of them (you don't have to hit them in one go) and the Paratroopas acknowledge them. The bros should use the shell when they see a shell block. Two Paratroopas bring in a block with 10 Attack Pieces. The new Special Attack is Yoo Who Cannon, where the bros multiply and hide in eight cannons. Memorize which bro is in which cannon (or just one bro in which cannon), then hit the bro's button when the cannon fires at the enemy. The Paratroopas tell Mario that jumping will get rid of the shell.
Return to the Toad Town Caves. Ahead is a new enemy called Nooz. They look like chickens with either a Mario or Luigi mustache. To the west is where Bowser came in and you can see him to the north. The alarm sounds again and he'll get zapped. They'll need a different route to go to wherever the pipe ahead leads. Return to the room with the yellow pipes, then go north. Fawflants are here. If there are two of them, they'll attack the bros at the same time. You may have to have the bros jump separately to counter. Go north and you'll see a shell block and a Toad. He says to move the bridges, hit the lever, but he doesn't have anything to hit it with. Grab a shell and hit Mario at the lever. Hit the levers to cross the bridges and hit three ! Blocks. One of the ! Blocks is to the west, so go get it second. Hit the block with a shell. Go to the northeast and hit the switch to move the bridge into place. Move the three bridges to the south into place so you can reach the third ! Block. This opens the door. Heal and save.
There are two Toads guarding the path ahead. Something really important is kept there and not even the Mario Bros are allowed to pass. Starlow thinks it's odd that a couple of Toads are down here. They reveal themselves to be a pair of Fawflants. Defeat them and the room rumbles. "I HAVE CHORTLES!" Up ahead, the security system guarding the Dark Star is blasted and destroyed. Fawful picks up the Dark Star. "I HAVE CHORTLES! The beauty hurts my teeth! Such power of darkness! My spine has the tingle!" He blasts the bros off the bridge. "Time for the crying! Too badness for you! For the Dark Star is snuggled with Fawful! Are you wanting to see it? Fawful's new Dark Star? You look! Such badness! Such pitch-black power!" He starts singing, "Fawful sings a song of bad! Mushroom Kingdom is so sad! All of it is for Fawful! And the...rhyme with...that." He continues, "It is Fawful day! Joys! Be trembling before me! All who resist will be beat like naughty little eggs! I HAVE CHORTLES!"
A Toad at the base of the pedestal apologizes and tells the bros to get the Dark Star back quickly. He also said the Fawful said he would take control of Peach's Castle next. The door to the left leads to Toad Town. To the west are some items, as well as pipes you can't reach. Return and go north. Go north again. You'll need to Spin Jump to reach all the items. Go east and take the pipe above ground.
The pipe takes them into Toad Town. A Toad wonders where the bros have been all this time. Entry to Peach's Castle is prohibited, but they should try. The paths into other parts of Toad Town are blocked off due to some renovations. Only thing they can do now is go north towards the castle. Several Dark Star barriers appear on the bridge to the castle.
Inside the castle, Peach is held in suspended animation, connected to the Dark Star. "Such excitement, like a pie made of wow! The Dark Star's dark power is building!" Midbus says that once the Dark Star awakens, the world will be theirs. "I HAVE ANGST! Do not tell Fawful that. That gives Fawful stress! We are just at the starting. The power of the Dark Star is still sleepy like a dull baby. It is taking time for the Dark Star to draw out the power of Princess Peach!" An alarm goes off. "Bad noise!" The bros set off the alarm trying to breach the castle. "I have many chortles at such stupidity! We are snug as bugs snuggling in a comfy rug. The Dark Star's blockade laughs at intruders!"
Starlow says the Dark Star's power is starting to awaken and they should return to Toad Town to strategize. "I HAVE CHORTLES!" A Fawfulcopter appears, saying, "Again the tears are flowing! But not on the face of Fawful! Fawful is on the cozy couch, sipping tea that laughs at you! And he is watching the seal on the Dark Star as it breaks... When it does, all the kingdom will be dark as darkness! But until then...maybe Fawful will have some shopping." Fawful's got the right idea, for now...

Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story -- Part 8: GIGGAGIGGAGOW! Freedom!
Fawful plans to rule the world, Peach has been kidnapped, and Bowser's wandering in the Tunnel underneath Cavi Cape. Go east, but not through the pipe. Light the fuse of the time bob to clear a path. Drop down and go west, clearing a path with time bombs. You'll come across new enemies called Choombas, a cross between Goombas and train engines. Watch the smoke that comes out of their stacks on the top screen, which will tell you how to defend against its attacks. Inhale the Coalbits that may appear, so the Choomba can't use them to power up. One Choomba has a Blitty. Don't use Fire Flowers on the Coalbits. Jump attacks work. Go west, south to the lower part of the room, east, south, then east on the top level. To the left of the pipe is a Chakroad. The pipe will take you back to the shop monitor. From the pipe with the Chakroad, go back west, then go to the lower level, then go east. You'll find a machine here. Punch the button to make a time bomb appear. Punch it to the left in front of a crack and light the fuse to make a tunnel appear. To get the other tunnels open, light the fuse first, then time your punch so it explodes in front of a crack. Punch at 3 seconds for the middle tunnel and at 2 for the right tunnel. The middle tunnel has a time bomb and a lot of rocks to destroy. The time bomb clears the path to another pipe that leads to the Save Block and shop monitor. Destroy the rocks on the raised areas to reach the exit on the north side of the room.
This leads to a room with a few Monty Moles. They're trying to drill through the rock, but the drill doesn't have enough power. Bowser announces his presence and they tell him that his plan to drill a secret tunnel is going smoothly. It's an escape tunnel under Peach's Castle for kidnapping. The drill is lined up to go through Toad Town, but the drill can't break through the dirt. Bowser says he'll drill through the dirt himself. He start pushing the drill, making three new areas appear: the Energy Hold, the Lumbar Nook, and the Leg Outpost, which is reacting. The bros have to stimulate Bowser's leg muscles to give the strength to push the drill. The bros start jumping on the muscles. Press the button of the bro landing on the muscle to stomp on the muscle with increased power. Time your button presses well and hold the buttons for even more power. At some points, the bros will split up and hit each muscle simultaneously, so press both buttons. The first set will get Bowser moving and activates the drill battery, meaning they have 1 minute 30 seconds to drill through or the drill stops. If Bowser doesn't reach the end in that amount of time, he'll need a new battery, which costs 50 coins. I made it with 30 seconds to spare.
Bowser winds up under Toad Town. He can't go back the way he came, so go north. Up ahead are four giant electrical orbs. Bowser stands in the center and sets off the alarm. It tells him to leave immediately, but he stays put. The orbs zap him and he falls to the floor, unconscious.
Inside, the Pipe Yard is reacting. A pipe fell over, so the bros can go further into the area. Toadbert meets them there. He says the shock opens up deeper areas in Bowser's body. Bowser inhaled a lot of pipes, which ended up in this area. They still lead to places around the Mushroom Kingdom. This means the bros can get out of Bowser. Warp Pipes are amazing things. The only one you can reach now is the purple one. It leads to an area similar to where Bowser ended up. Mario says these are the Toad Town Caves. Starlow is reminded of Peach's story about the Dark Star being beneath Toad Town. "I have chortles!" says a voice from far away. Starlow says they must find the Dark Star before Fawful does. Starlow draws the bros' attention to the map on the touch screen, showing their relative positions and areas that they've explored. If you'd like to return to Bowser at any point, just go through the purple pipe again.

Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story -- Part 7: Everybody Wants to Rule the World
Inside the Flab Zone, Bowser's extra fat makes platforms closer together to form steps so they can be climbed. To the left is a Retry Clock and to the right is a Save Block. Up ahead are Attack Pieces. The floor ahead is springy. New enemies called Tenderlings are here. Watch how high they bounce to determine if you need to jump to dodge their attack. Flaming enemies called Calorites also appear.
In the next area, the bros hear a scream. Peach is being attack by something. She's relieved to see the bros. She was looking for the exit when she was attacked. The enemy swarms her, picks her up, and carries her off. The bros follow them and Luigi falls into the mucus pool. Someone laughs and pulls Luigi out. This entity is Princess Lipid, referring to themselves in the plural. They ask if Mario dropped Luigi into the mucus pool or the treasure of e'erlasting wonder, which they hold. They present the options with no time to answer and assume Mario wants the treasure. Mario disagrees, saying his brother is better than the treasure. Princess Lipid tosses him back and give the bros the treasure, saying honesty begets fortune. The treasure is a pair of badges. Starlow says that badges will give them special effects in battle. A Tenderling appears from the treasure chest as well. Starlow fully heals the bros and Princess Lipid appear. The badges are equipped and they fill the meter to almost full. The meter fills up with each successful attack. Excellent attacks fill the meter more. When it fills up, touch it before selecting a command block. The badge they have equipped restores both bros' HP. Using the badge drains the meter completely. There are different types of badges out there. You can change the badge in the middle of battle with the command block. Swap the badges with [L] and [R] until you get the combination you want. The badge Luigi equips determines what level of attacks (OK, Good, Great, Excellent) will fill the meter and Mario's determines the effects.
Keep going to the right. The path will split. Go into the red pipe first. Across the springy floor is an item block. You'll need to volley it between the bros by hitting it 15 times. When you complete the challenge, it will give you four Attack Pieces. Go east, then take the lower red pipe near the blue Emoglobin. There's a Save Block and an item block to volley. It also gives you four Attack Pieces. Go south via the green pipe and hit the bulge coming out of the floor. It releases a tornado. Starlow thinks the bros can use it by jumping in the middle of it. It's Spin Jump time. Cross the gaps and mucus pools to the left to reach the last Attack Piece. The bros can use the Jump Helmet attack. Mario jumps from a trampoline that Luigi wears as a helmet. Mario jumps and Luigi moves forward so Mario can land and jump again until they reach the enemy. Mario will then jump on the enemy. This Special Attack is a little tricky and prone to failure. Go south via the green pipe, then go west, hitting invisible blocks to the right of the tornado. Use the tornado to cross the gap. Go south through the red pipe.
Send Mini Mario under the gap and spring up. There's a switch on the right wall. Jump from the springy floor to make invisible blocks appear so you can hit the switch. This uncovers a super springy floor. Take the red pipe south. Spin jump to the pipes and take the green pipe south. This will take you to a room with a couple of item blocks and a Save Block. Heal and save, then go east.
The bros find the enemy with Peach up ahead. Starlow doesn't think jumping or hammers will free the princess. A Spin Jump removes them and the princess collapses. The enemy returns, opens its eyes, and gets into an attack formation. Starlow wants the bros to battle while she protects the princess. Luigi wants to trade places with Starlow. She is not amused and knocks Luigi into the enemy.
This enemy is Alpha Kretin. Each of its six pieces is colored red or green. Only the bro of the same color may damage the sphere. When each sphere is hit, it and the surrounding spheres change color. Try to be strategic in the ones you attack so each bro can attack. When it takes enough damage, it turns blue. Alpha Kretin will fire energy balls at the bros. Watch the light travel through it to know the order and frequency of attacks. Use hammers to stop the attacks. When all of the spheres turn blue, the formation will fall apart and only a Beta Kretin will be left. It will create copies of itself so there are six in total. They'll surround the bros and send electricity to each other. Jump if a bro is in the path of the electricity. Before you can attack, the real one will flash, then shuffle around with the others. Keep an eye on it so you can attack it. After a few attacks, it will become Alpha Kretin again, in a triangle formation. Keep attacking it as before. Odds are, you'll level up after defeating it. When the bros reach level 12, they'll rank up to Flower Rank, where they can equip three pieces of gear.
Alpha Kretin explodes once you defeat it. Peach is thankful. She wants to find a way to escape. Luigi doesn't think there might be a way out. Starlow notices there's a room up ahead, so she'll strategize with Peach while the bros check it out. Peach follows them into the new area, saying it would be best to just explore it. It's a dead end. Starlow suggests waiting until Bowser's body experiences a change.
Outside, Bowser is throwing himself a pity party. Suddenly, he feels ticklish. "I HAVE CHORTLES!" Under the floor, in the basement, Fawful is firing a ray gun at Bowser. "First, your beating of Midbus! And then, the chubbening with the special dishes of tastiness! All in my master planning! Oh, I have such chortles! There was a slight changing to my perfect plan! Yes, Fawful said "plan." A plan of Bowser inhaling Peach, sending the Mushroom Kingdom into the hands of Fawful! But now for the changing. I am needing the princess!" Bowser asks if he inhaled her. "Fawful tells you yes. But now I am needing her right this instant! Come out for the playing! Come to Fawful!"
Starlow wonders what Fawful would want with Peach. Peach says Fawful may be looking for the Dark Star. Peach explains that a star sleeping below the Mushroom Kingdom was dug up that hid a great evil. If an evil entity found the Dark Star, the world would plunge into darkness and the evil entity would rule the world. The Star Sprites sacrificed much to seal the Dark Star under Toad Town. Fawful needs Peach because she's the only one who can break the seal. Luigi freaks out. The ray gun's effect intensifies and a loud noise is heard in the room next door. The bros check it out. A light flashes from the ceiling. Peach and Starlow followed because they were worried. Big mistake. The light takes the form of a hand and points over each one of them, until it reaches Peach and grabs her. All three of them freak out.
Outside, the ball of light drops Peach on Fawful. "Such ruh-rounded chubbening on your buh-body, Bowser! Buh-but Fawful gave you the Puh-Princess Peach diet! Huh-heavy..." Bowser wants him to put her back. "And nuh-now! All preparations have cuh-completion! At the long last, we buh-begin the fuh-furious Age of Fawful! Buh-Bowser! You are needing to huh-hit the gym!" Midbus brings in a treadmill. Fawful slowly carries Peach off, saying, "Huh-heavy... Muh-Midbus! Help! Midbus! Come!" Midbus leaves without him. "MIDBUS!"
Bowser finally falls through the floor and lands on the treadmill. His legs start running by themselves, increasing in speed. He feels and smells the burn, as his legs are literally on fire. He burns off the accumulated fat and hops off the treadmill, still on fire. He reads the sign that tells him he is in the Bob-omb Storage Depot, but not before he lights a fuse. The blast sends him out of the castle, back to Cavi Cape, and he falls into the hole near the Chakroad. There is a Save Block and shop monitor.

Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story -- Part 6: SHOWTIME!
The cave is Bowser Path. There's a TV monitor that Broque Monsieur set up so you can shop without having to return to Dimble Wood. Go north, then punch while moving across the gaps to the right. You'll encounter enemies called Chain Chawfuls, Chomps controlled by Fawful. Watch the way the head moves to determine whether to punch or duck. One of them has a Blitty. Vacuum out the head and it the Chomp will run away. You'll have to punch while moving to get past some of the rollers on the floor. Soon, you'll find some Shy Guys in a cage. Free them to get a new Special Attack, Shy Guy Squad. The Shy Guys will set up part of a sling shot, so use the stylus to push Bowser back to the left. This slings Bowser into the enemy.
Keep going east and the scenery will change. Bowser's Castle is ahead. Fawfulcopters may appear over other enemies here. Inhale them and let the bros deal with them. To the east, the ground starts to rumble. In the castle, Goombas tell Midbus that Bowser's getting closer. Midbus activates his second plan and the castle flies off again. Go east, south, then west. The castle is flying over its foundation. Midbus taunts Bowser, using some of his minions' names, so they think he's calling them. He decides to use Fawful's ultimate weapon, the Super Ultra Wonder Ultimate Ruthless Great Iron Ball. Bowser catches it and the Arm Center starts reacting. The bros stimulate the arm muscle as before and Bowser tosses the iron ball back at the castle. It lands back on its foundation. Bowser's proud of himself for repelling Midbus's attack, but upset that he damaged his castle. Return to the castle, heal, and save.
Approach the castle. There are Fawful posters on the outside. Burn them off, which reveals a small doorway. Bowser can't go through it, so we'll deal with it later. The doors are wide open, so go inside. Some Goombas greet Bowser inside, speaking creepily. They call him a guest and welcome him to Fawful Theater. Starlow informs Bowser that the Goombas have been brainwashed. Check out things in the lobby. Fawful has taken over and holds stress-release shows here. He's also taken Peach's Castle. After a while, the doors to the theater will open. Go inside the theater when you're ready. There are a couple of items beyond the Save Block. Go into the theater. All seats in the theater are taken. You can talk to some members of the audience that are moving. Approach the Goomba ushers. They say Fawful has arranged VIP treatment for Bowser. A special throne-like chair appears. Bowser takes his seat and the show starts.
"I HAVE FAWFUL!" Fawful appears onstage. "Excited crowd! You feel it? Fawful is also feeling it! I am needing to feel it even more though! MORE! MOOORE! Oh, I am feeling the power! It high-fives Fawful's face! And now I will use that power to call our most special guest, who you will be cheering! Today's special guest... The famous Koopa King... BOWSER!" Bowser's seat moves on a track and catapults him onstage. "I HAVE CHORTLES! It is an entrance of amazement! Like only a special guest does! Now a Midbus battle will unfold like an angry dip of many layers on the chips of wildest hopes! I HAVE CHORTLES! COME! MIDBUS!" Midbus appears, ready to battle. A cage drops down over them. "It is the time! The Heavyweight Cage War of All Destruction! Midbus!
Crush this spiky snack, and we will have more chortles!"
Midbus will spin a ball and chain around. Duck when he gets close, then duck when he throws it at you. Use Special Attacks. Bowser will get coins from the audience and possibly food. The same will happen for Midbus and he'll heal himself with the food. Vacuum up the food to heal Bowser and keep Midbus from healing himself. Midbus will jump around, then land on Bowser or in front of him. Punch if he lands in front and duck if he lands directly on him. When Midbus approaches with his arms up, punch repeatedly. If you time it well, you might counter with some damage.
Once the battle is over, the cage lifts and Goombas drag Midbus off stage. "And the winning is for... BOWSERRRR!" The crowd cheers and Bowser enjoys it. He thinks they remember him. "Such a fight of fury!" Bowser wants his castle back and is ready to challenge Fawful. "Oh, Fawful is leaving! But first! You had the victory! Now the celebrate! Yes, at the magic feast of honor! COME! BOOS!" The Boos arrive. "His belly cries out for the magic feast of honor!" The Boos escort Bowser away, even though he's a little suspicious.
The Boos lead Bowser to a room with a large feast prepared. The dishes are rich, fattening, and unhealthy and Bowser likes it. Lead him to the table and have him eat. Once he eats the first row, he gets full and tries to leave. The Boos insist that he eat more and offer to feed it to him. After a little while, Bowser starts looking chubbier. The Boos feed him faster despite his protests and he gains even more weight. The Boos agree with that and laugh at him. Bowser can't move and falls through the floor and gets stuck. He wants Chippy to help him lose the weight. She suggests a diet. Bowser's stuck, so she should help him. She'll help him when she feels like it. But until Bowser gets free, nothing gets done. On the inside, a new area called the Flab Zone appears and starts reacting.

Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story -- Part 4: Rally the Troops!
To the north of Plack Beach is Dimble Wood. There are Treevils here, tree enemies that take critical damage from fire. In this part, the rocks resemble a certain vegetable. To the north is a stone block with a Wiggler on it. Hit the Wiggler face to make the segments light up in a certain order. To the east is a stone Wiggler. Hit the segments in the same order and the statue comes to life, demolishing the stone block. Bowser can go to the north. You may notice a block with an Attack Piece, but those are only for Mario and Luigi. To the north, Broque Monsieur and Broggy have set up shops. Apparently, Broggy eats coins and the shop's revenue should satisfy his hunger. Broque Monsieur sells items and Broggy sells gear. Broque Monsieur mentions scratch cards, a reward system for the shops in the Mushroom Kingdom. Scratch a patch to get coins back. The odds of getting a good amount of coins return increase with increase Horn and Mustache points. When you're done shopping, Broque Monsieur asks a favor. His collection is missing a living block called a Blitty, a block kitty. There are 15 hidden in the Mushroom Kingdom, hidden inside monsters. Bowser must vacuum enemies to get them. Bowser will get rewarded with rare gear not sold in the shop when he brings back Blitties. If Bowser gives him all 15 Blitties, Broque Monsieur will lend him Broggy. This alone is worth completing the quest. Every time you battle a new enemy, use the vacuum on it to see if a Blitty will appear. The Vacuum Block does not flash for Blitties. If you don't catch it, it will hide in another monster of the same type.
Go north to the stone pillars, then west. Follow and destroy the trail of brick blocks. There's a Blitty hiding in a Treevil. Head as far west as you can go and you'll come across a yellow platform on a hill. Stand on the platform and light the fuse. It catapults Bowser through the stone pillars, clearing them out. There's a Save Block ahead. The tree to the ride hides a Chakroad. I took a detour to Cavi Cape to get a Blitty from a Chuboomba and to Plack Beach to get a Blitty from a Toothy. To the north, Bowser will find some Goombas in a cage. They're happy to see him. Fawful's already taken Bowser's Castle, stuffed the Goomba squadron in cage, and thrown them out. Bowser reminds them that their mantra is to "March straight at the enemy's feet", but it happened so suddenly, the Goombas couldn't do anything about it. They say other parts of Bowser's army may have ended up like them. Bowser's going to make a bridge to the island to get them.
To the north is another Wiggler Statue, standing on its hind legs. Bowser thinks it will make a good bridge, so he tries to pick it up. The Arm Center starts reacting, so send the bros there. Activate the arm muscle the same way as before and Bowser picks up the statue and throws it into the water. Go up to the statue and Bowser will hop across it. This is one of the very few places Bowser jumps. Go south and punch the cage a few times to free the Goombas. They join Bowser, allowing him to perform the Special Attack Goomba Storm in battle. Fawful's helicopter appears, saying, "I have the weeping! Such a reunion of sobs! You have moved Fawful with the family drama. But now I have chortle time! Fawful scattered your minions like litter from a sad, ugly cat. Are you wanting to hear them? For they are on the TV show. The TV show of your tears!" A screen shows Bowser's minions calling Bowser for help. The Koopa squad, Bob-omb squad, and Shy Guy corps all need help. "I HAVE CHORTLES! And soon, I have your castle! Fawful will love it there! You will visit, perhaps! Fawful will reserve the Crying Room for the crying for your minions. And the crying will be like a savory soda for my soul! NOW I HAVE FURY! Some fighting will be slowing you!"
A couple Treevils appear and initiate battle. A Goomba appears to teach Bowser how to use his Special Attacks, all of which involve using the stylus and touch screen. For Goomba Storm, tap the Goombas when they appear from the left to blast them with fire. They will rain down on the enemies. The ones that you miss will run into the enemies. Go north, across a red bridge. There are treasure chest enemies called Trashures. Do enough damage to remove the lock so you can get tons of coins with the vacuum. One of them has a Blitty. Keep going north until you reach a Save Block and save.
To the north, Bowser finds a Goomba wearing pajamas, a Shy Guy with weapons, and a Paratroopa wearing a bucket on his head, all pushing a cannon. They are Private Goomp, Sergeant Guy, and Corporal Paraplonk. They wonder if they're the only ones who escaped. They see Bowser and tell him Fawful and Midbus took the castle easily. They got the cannon out of the castle. Bowser wants to fire the cannon now, but they lack ammunition, a Banzai Bill. Bowser tells them to look around for one that they've fired over the years. Starlow suggests that Bowser look as well. Go east, then south and you'll see another stone block with a Wiggler. Get the pattern from the Wiggler and go east to activate the statue, which opens a path to a bridge. This leads to a garden. A Squiggler tells Bowser that this is the Wiggler Family Farm, where they grown organic, pesticide-free vegetables for the kingdom. The Squiggler hasn't seen a Banzai Bill in the area. Bowser prefers meat to vegetables. Go north, heal, and save.
To the north is a giant carrot. Bowser thinks it might make good cannon fodder. He tries to pull it out of the ground, making the Arm Center react again. Starlow says the cannon looks a little different. The design on it has certainly changed. The balls of light have changed in that many come out at once. Hit them back with the same rhythm that they were fired in. After the third set, Bowser pulls out the carrot. Wiggler comes out of the ground, calling Bowser a thief. Apparently, this carrot's been growing for generations. Wiggler has a Banzai Bill and would give it to Bowser, but he needs to learn a lesson about honor. Bowser must take responsibility for yanking the giga-carrot. Bowser must eat it, in one minute. A new area opens up, the Gut Check. Chunks of carrot that Bowser eats will pile up. Use the stylus to break them up. Bowser's face sparkles and Wiggler says that the carrot contains an enzyme that quickly digests food. Keep an eye out for when Bowser's face sparkles and find the pieces that come in soon after. One of them has the enzyme that will clear things out. It loses its activity with time, so find it quickly, while it is still red, when it can digest all the food. Tap it to clear out the food. I did it in 36 seconds. If you don't complete the challenge, Wiggler will give Bowser an equivalent amount of carrots. Wiggler gives Bowser an opportunity to use the Save Block. Use it if you like. Wiggler forgets about the Banzai Bill. Wiggler gets mad at Bowser for coming to the farm, pulling out the carrot, and eating it.
Wiggler wants to battle. He'll water the ground, make radishes grown, then throw them at Bowser. Punch them away and duck for the Leaf Guys. You can attack each of Wiggler's segments to make them turn yellow. Wiggler will also charge at Bowser so he can hit the first three segments. Duck when Wiggler falls. He'll also circle Bowser. Punch his segments. Periodically, Leaf Guys will appear holding a giant radish. Inhale them, and a chunk of the radish will turn the remaining segments yellow. Have the bros attack the Leaf Guys. The Leaf Guys will charge the bros at the same time, so counter with hammers. When Wiggler is yellow, attack his head. Goomba Storm works well. Once he's defeated, Wiggler doesn't want Bowser around damaging crops, so he gives up the Banzai Bill so Bowser will leave. Return to the cannon.

Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story -- Part 2: Mind Travel
Bowser's on his own to explore and battle. He'll first face Chuboombas, fat
Goombas with lollipops. He can get first strikes by punching. There smaller
enemies he can instantly defeat for money by running into them or punching
them. Punch brick blocks for items, like hot drumsticks, which restore HP. Bowser largely can't jump like the bros, so he can only reach things accessible by ramps. Head
south and you'll eventually hear a voice. The voice says it is the voice
within, his consciousness. The voice asks Bowser if they should travel
together. Bowser doesn’t want to listen and the voice calls him unenlightened.
Their minds have bonded, which is rare. The voice says to smash the nearby boulder.
Bowser does so, and a pink, yellow, and brown swirl appears. It is called a Chakroad.
Bowser touches it and somewhere else on the world map, another one appears. The
voice says they will travel with their minds. This places him back in the cave.
The voice says the Chakroad took them to a place etched in Bowser’s mind.
Bowser touches the Chakroad again to return. Bowser wants to go to his castle,
but he can only travel to Chakroads he has found. They are hidden in breakable
objects, like boulders. Look for pink swirls coming out of things to find more
Chakroads so you can quickly travel place to place. Bowser asks who the voice
is, and it replies that it exists somewhere in the kingdom.
Go east, enter the cave, then go south. This will take you to Plack Beach. Go north, then go to the east side of the beach, where you'll see a raft. Hop on it and punch a surface in the opposite direction you'd like to go. Ultimately, you'll want to go northwest. To do this, you can go east, north, and while moving north, hit a set of rocks to go west. This will take you back to the beach. Here, you'll find enemies called Toothies, which are Pokeys made of teeth. The beach has a tooth theme. You'll have to hit them when only their head is left to do damage. Go north.
Someone with a French accent calls to Bowser. He's stuck on an island and needs Bowser's help. His name is Broque Monsieur and has a block collection. He was cleaning up the collection on the island and the bridge fell into the water. Bowser doesn't want to help. Broque Monsieur will give him gratitude in the form of a block. Bowser isn't interested until Broque Monsieur says it is rare and powerful. Broque Monsieur says the island's floating in the water, and to earn the block, Bowser must pull the island to shore with the rope. Bowser grabs the rope and pulls.
Inside Bowser, a new area appears in his arm. It's called the Arm Center and contains his arm muscle, which is reacting. Nearby is a switch that Luigi hits. It sends an light ball flying at Mario. Mario hits it with his hammer into the arm muscle. Bowser thinks he just got a power boost. More color-coded light balls appear and the bros have to volley them until they strike the muscle, boosting Bowser's strength. Missing will make the bros lose coins. At last, the light ball increases in size and when it hits the muscle, Bowser pulls the island to shore. Starlow figures that the bros can make Bowser stronger this way.
Broque Monsieur landed on his head. He gives Bowser the Vacuum Block as promised. Bowser is underwhelmed. Broque Monsier explains that hitting the block allows Bowser to inhale whatever is in front of him, even in battle. Bowser is interested. Broque Monsieur challenges him to a battle as a tutorial. Bowser can inhale small monsters. If there is something Bowser can inhale, the Vacuum Block will flash. He can use the block if it doesn't flash and it will do damage. When it does flash, it means there is something Bowser can inhale, either items or enemies. Once the block is selected, hit (X) repeatedly to inhale. Bowser inhales Broque Monsieur and finds the bros, ready to battle. If Bowser inhales enemies, the bros will get to battle them. Enemies that are on the top screen during battle will either be inhaled, or brought down to the touch screen. Pressing (X) quickly increases the vacuuming power, useful for stubborn enemies. Broque Monsieur gives Bowser a Retry Clock, which allows the user to redo a battle if their HP drops to zero. It also restores all items used in the battle, as well as all HP and SP. There are a limited number of Retry Clocks in the world, so they must be used wisely. The battle continues. Broque Monsieur can hit a block containing a Mega Mushroom, that increases his size. He runs into Bowser. With a punch, Bowser can knock away his body and repeatedly punch the head for coins. For the rest of the battle, just punch him. He'll just leave if Bowser inhales him. He can also hit blocks with mushrooms that can either heal him or Bowser, depending on where they go. He'll eventually stop the battle and Bowser and the bros get experience. Broque Monsieur wants to meet again and leaves for now.
Head north until you reach a statue. Starlow thinks it's the Sea Pipe Statue. Bowser thinks it's ugly and starts punching it. It starts moving and waving its pipe arms. Bowser says the statue's going nuts. "I HAVE CHORTLES!" This is Fawful's new catchphrase, with "chortles" being coined by Lewis Carroll as a combination of "snort" and "chuckle". One of Fawful's robots appears, so he can tell Bowser, "It is I who added the nuts to that statue! I HAVE CHORTLES! Your plan that I laugh at now makes for more laughing! You are wanting your castle? You are not getting there!" Bowser doesn't want to deal with Fawful right now. "You have the impatience... You must stop and sample the sprinklies in life's salad bar. I say no to your rushing! Time instead for some playing with a Fawfulized statue!" The statue moves faster and starts the battle.
The Stone Blooper on the statue will fly at Bowser through a pipe after looping around the screen. Bowser must inhale it, even though it will drill into him, dropping his HP. If you don't, Bowser's attacks will not do any damage. The Stone Blooper will attack the bros overhead. Counter with a hammer. Hit the Blooper enough times, and it will turn red and fly at the bros. Use the hammer to knock it out of Bowser and stick it in the statue's side. Punch it repeatedly. Once the Stone Blooper has been defeated, the battle ends. The Sea Pipe Statue stops moving.

Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story -- Part 1: Do I not Globin?
Mario falls into Bowser's body and lands with a thud. Bowser's body shakes, bringing Mario to his feet. He has no idea where he is or where Luigi is. Go right and jump over the juices, which act as quicksand. On the other side is a yellow cube. Hit it and it talks. It's called an Emoglobin and knows secrets of Bowser. There are other globins in Bowser that will talk to you and provide information. They speak a little strangely, using the word "globin" to replace other words and add "-ish" to other words. This one won't tell you anything, but will let you save your globin. It says it will disappear soon, which means if you come back later, it will be gone.
Ahead, you'll find Starlow, trapped by something that looks like a jellyfish. A wandering Emoglobin appears, telling Mario how to use pipes. Some will send him into the air like a cannon and others will take him to different areas. Take his advice with the first pipe on the ground that you can reach. This will make Mario hit a ! Block that makes another pipe appear. That pipe does the same thing. The middle pipe will help Mario free Starlow. An enemy drops in and starts a battle. It's a Goombule, a Goomba-like creature found in Bowser's body. Starlow provides information on counterattacks, HP, items, and running from battles. When Mario gains experience, it is represented by a flag on a flagpole, so you know roughly when you'll level up. After the battle, Mario asks what happened and Starlow explained that they're in Bowser's body. She's not sure what happened to the others. The only thing they can do is continue on and look for the others.
Go right, then left through a pipe, battling Goombules along the way. There's an orange Emoglobin that fully heals Mario. To the right, Mario finds Luigi trapped like Starlow was. Starlow says to jump and grab Luigi's legs to free him. It works and Luigi is overjoyed to see Mario. Two Goombules appear and Starlow informs the bros about getting first strikes in battle and how to battle as a team. She also tells the bros how to tell which of them will be attacked next. After the battle, a pipe will appear. Luigi says he hasn't seen Peach, so she might be hard to find. Starlow gives the bros access to the Star Menu, which functions like a suitcase. Now that the bros have been reunited, continue exploring. Ahead is an elevator where Mario and Luigi must alternate hitting blocks to make the elevator rise.
Past the elevator are a bunch of crates that Bowser inhaled. Go to the right and hit the colorful block. It gives the bros a puzzle piece that's called an Attack Piece. There are nine left in the area, so hit other colorful blocks. Starlow explains that they are fragments that form Special Attacks. If a Special Attack's 10 Attack Pieces are collected, the bros can use the Special Attack. Up ahead are eight more of the blocks. Go up then left. The last block is there. Starlow explains that Special Attacks are powerful moves that can be used to dominate battles. They're like a combination of Bros. Attacks and Bros. Items and consume SP. The Special Attack of this area, the Trash Pit, is the Green Shell. From the Star Menu, you can watch demos of the Special Attacks and practice them, so you can be ready to unleash them in battle. A couple of Elite Goombules, wearing helmets drop in so you can give the Special Attack a try. Jumping won't work. After the battle, the bros can go left, which leads them to the area with the crates again. Hit the ! Block, which makes the floor disappear. The bros land on a crate below with hammers. Starlow explains how to use them. This allows you to break the crates and continue on.
In the next area, you'll drop down and hit a switch, which gets a ball rolling. It's an egg, so hit it to crack it open. It reveals enemies called Spike Blops, which are spiked on their heads. Starlow explains how to use hammers in battle. If you hold the hammer back longer, it will gain power, unless the hammer head falls off. Defeating the Spike Blops makes a pipe appear. Ahead are more Spike Blops. You can use the hammer for first strikes that do damage. At the end, you'll see a map of Bowser's body. This marks the end of the Trash Pit (and any other area of Bowser). The circles on the map are areas where the bros can go. Right now, you can access the Funny Bone, Toad Square, or the Challenge Node.
In Toad Square, the bros find the Toads that got inhaled. They're scavenging what they could find in Bowser and opening shops, staying together to survive. There are items, gear, information, and healing for sale. Get what you need and then leave.
In the Challenge Node, there are special types of Emoglobin that run challenges. The Gauntlet lets you defeat old bosses. It's not open yet. The other challenge is the Cholesteroad, where you see if you can continue a Special Attack for a certain amount of time. It's also not open yet.
The only other place to go is the Funny Bone. Starlow sees something interesting and goes on ahead. She tells the bros to check it out. There's a bulb sticking out of the wall that Starlow says is connected to Bowser's major nerve. Hit it and Bowser jolts to life. Starlow decides to try talking to him and he responds. He doesn't know what's going on, beyond being defeated by Mario and being chucked into a forest. He also mentions the weird mushroom Fawful gave him. He's none to thrilled that someone's hanging around in his body. Starlow decides to keep the fact that he inhaled the bros and the most members of the meeting a secret. He recognizes Starlow's voice, so she changes the subject and asks him where he is. He looks around and finds himself in a cave. Starlow tells the bros to let Bowser check things out for a while.
You can now control Bowser again. Exit the area to the southeast, through a shipwreck. Starlow explains that to switch between Bowser and the bros, hit (A) or (B) for the bros and (X) or (Y) for Bowser before moving. The screen that's lit up show's who you're controlling. Punch some boulders, then go north, where you'll find some rolling cannonballs. Stand on the metal plate and punch a cannonball into the switch on the wall to open the gate to the north. There's something flammable, but Bowser can't breathe fire right now for some reason. Bowser blames Starlow, but she says she didn't do anything. Punch some boulders to move forward.
Ahead is a Save Block Bowser can punch. Ride the stone platform across the gap, punching stones sticking out of the wall. The exit to the right leads outside. Fawful appears, saying, "What is your surprise face? Was there forgetting about me?" Bowser recognizes him as the one who gave him the mushroom and he replies, "You are the one who is correct! Wasn't it full of delicious?! Such a special treat called a Vacuum Shroom! I, Fawful, invented it to make you inhale everything you see! And I, Fawful, am betting that you are remembering nothing. You inhaled like a hungry syrup pig at the free pancake buffet. And then you had the napping. And then I put you in the cave!" Bowser asks what's Fawful's beef with him and he replies, "Beef? I am lacking in beef. Fawful is beefless. But I am having a goal! MUSHROOM KINGDOM... WILL BE MINE! All of Mushroom Kingdom spread for Fawful like power brunch! First, the appetizer of making Toads round with blorbs! Then, the side order of using Vacuum-Shroomed Bowser! Fawful is gorging on his plan of win! And still he has hunger!" Bowser says he's nuts. "No hunger for nuts. Just to conquer Mushroom Kingdom... First, the emptying of the castle of Peach! AND THEN! Andthenandthenandthenandthenandthen…
The castle of Bowser for me! I will be powering it up into the castle of Fawful!"
At Bowser's Castle, Fawful's flying saucers attack, sending his minions flying. Bowser thinks his castle will be fine. "Hmm... We will be seeing... Anyway, I thought you would be sleeping long, like a lazy bear. And I am thinking you should be sleeping more! COME! MIDBUS!" Fawful flies off, a Midbus, a boar with spikes on his spine, appears. He says, "You. No longer needed. Here, you taste defeat." Bowser says Midbus will taste his fist. "Taste your fist? Ha ha. I think not. I HAVE NO TASTE!" Bowser gets upset about what Midbus is saying not making sense. "Sense is for the weak! You listen. Peach, gone. Lord Fawful, new ruler. Now, no need of you. Lord Fawful says sleep. NOW YOU SLEEP!" Bowser's really angry now and needs to punch something. SHOWTIME!
Fawful flies into the battle, saying, "I HAVE BATTLE! Midbus! He is having a big punch!" Midbus will attack, so counter with a punch with (X). "Midbus! Have readiness! The longer he is holding back his punch, the bigger the hurting to your face! If you are snacking on a punch held to the very last second... I have the brain pain just with the thinking of it!" Bowser can attack by punching. When you try, Fawful interrupts with "BADNESS! If you are holding back your punch to the last second before pressing (X), that is BADNESS! The worst kind of bad badness! Do not have naughtiness and press (X) at that timing! Built-up power punching is very full of naughty badness, yes... But building up too much power and failing, that is full of yum... Punches built up to the last second are full of the risk. Midbus, now is the time for striking!" When you punch at full power, Midbus flies back. Midbus attempts to attack again and Fawful says, "NAUGHTY! That is danger! Do not press (X)! That punch is like a danger sandwich... Not tasty, Bowser... You are the handful. But my Midbus eats danger sandwiches like they were fun hoagies! Midbus! Action time! Destroy him and we go to home!" After Fawful finishes his tutorial, he flies off. All Bowser can do is punch in this battle. Midbus lands an aerial attack and Bowser's not feeling well due to the Vacuum Shroom. The battle ends.
Midbus says, "Muh muh muh. You are weak. Most weak. It does not end here. Work on your skills." He leaves. Bowser wants to go to his castle, but Starlow says to go to Peach's Castle. She lets Bowser go to his castle so he can stop Fawful. She tells the bros that Bowser's in bad shape and may experience some changes in his body.

Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story -- Save the Princess. Save the Kingdom. Team up with Bowser.
Toad Town, to the south of Peach's Castle, is as peaceful as ever. One young Toad walks home, after leaving school early. His mother chides him. Dinner is ready, so she tells him to tell his father. He does and freaks out. The house starts shaking. In rolls a giant, round Green Toad. A headline tells us it's the Blorbs. It's sweeping the Mushroom Kingdom. Toads balloon to blimp size and roll away. No one knows the cause nor cure. Peach calls an emergency meeting at her castle.
With a projecting screen showing an image of the Blorbed Toads, Peach begins the meeting. Toadsworth says this has never happened before. The Toads don't know what to do, so one suggests they panic. Peach says they contacted the Star Sprites for help, but they haven't responded yet. A representative of the Star Sprites enters, with a "Hello Yello!" Her name is Starlow. The Star Sprites don't know what to do either. A cause would be a good place to start, but they don't know that either. Dr. Toadley's intern says they tried to reduce the swelling, but can't reverse it. When everyone is on the verge of giving up, Peach tries to calm them down. Toadbert mentions that there is someone they can count on: the bros.
The castle doors open and Mario jumps in, followed by Luigi, who's still getting dressed. A Toad tells them to go to the conference room in the back. Go into the gardens and grab some coins. To the north is the throne room, with a Save Block. To the northeast is the conference hall. The meeting continues with Toadbert mentioning that a mushroom sold by a local merchant may be the cause. All the Blorbed Toads say they bought Blorb Mushrooms. Well, there's your problem. Luigi falls asleep during the meeting. Toadsworth says that Blorb Mushrooms aren't from around the Mushroom Kingdom. A Toad reports that the merchant wore a cape and isn't from the kingdom. Starlow wants to find him. Toadsworth says the bros should find him and stomp him as if he were Bowser.
"Did someone just page the king of awesome?" Bowser appears, upset that Peach didn't invite him to the meeting. He lives in the Mushroom Kingdom, too, so he thinks he has a right to be at the meeting. Starlow disagrees and tells him to leave. Bowser is angered and breathes fire. Mario gets Peach out of the way and the fire burns the podium and projection screen. Bowser's not pleased to see Mario. He was going to act nice and try to help, but that went away when he saw Mario. His new objective is to beat Mario and kidnap Peach.
It's battle time! Toadsworth gives instruction on attacking and dodging. Mario can do a solo double jump. Bowser breathes fire for his attacks. Luigi sleeps through the whole thing. After he takes enough damage, Bowser is defeated. That was not his "A" game. Starlow says that her star power and Peach's wish power weakened him. Peach uses a new magical power to levitate Bowser and throw him out of the castle. She thanks Mario for saving her. Why she didn't use this power sooner is a good question. Mario doesn't mind, as it gets him a kiss on the cheek.
Out in the forest, Kamek wakes up Bowser. He wants to return and kidnap Peach, but he doesn't know where he is. You can now control Bowser, so head south. Kamek says Bowser can break boulders by punching with (X) and burn stuff with his fire breath with (Y). If breathes fire for too long, he'll get tired. Go east and a figure in a cape will scurry off. Approach the pipes and someone says, "A WINNER IS YOU!" Bowser approaches the voice, which belongs to the caped figure. Bowser asks what he won, and the figure replies "JACKPOTTING!" The figure says, "The customer has luck! And with luckiness comes a tasty Lucky Shroom!" Bowser wants to know what's going on because he didn't buy anything. "Do not have worries for details! No, do not have the worries! Have the wonderful Lucky Shroom of tastiness instead! Scoff this down and your luck will power up to super luck! Luck enough to beat Mario!" Bowser asks if this is true. "I say to you YES! With every attack, lucky hits will shower in a happy waterfall! You will have such fury! Your strongest enemies will fold like napkins who are crying!" Kamek tries to be the voice of reason and tells him not to eat the Lucky Shroom. Bowser, however, isn't as skeptical and asks for the Lucky Shroom. "Oh, yes, of course! ENJOY THE EATING!"
Bowser eats the Lucky Shroom, but it doesn't agree with him. Kamek asks what that mushroom was and the cape figure reveals himself to be- you guessed it- Fawful. "Such easiness! So easy it gives me the gleeful chortles. I have such strategy! And now for the leaving. You are having a date with Peach's Castle!" Fawful flies off and Bowser inhales everything around him, including pipes.
Back at the castle, the meeting is still going on, thanks to Peach. Toadsworth suggests relocating when Bowser appears. Bowser inhales everyone, last of which Luigi, who wakes up due to the disturbance. Bowser laughs, then collapses. Fawful appears, saying "I HAVE VICTORY! Easy as bread sandwiches! And now for the proceeding with the plan I have planned! Midbus! Come! Fawful calls you!" Midbus, whoever he is, replies, "Of course... Lord Fawful..."

Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time -- Part 5: Houston, We have Continuity!
When you return to the castle, talk to Gadd. He's impressed that the bros retrieved two Cobalt Star shards. He also takes a look at Toadbert's sketch. Peach lost the battle with Princess Shroob and the Cobalt Star shattered. The rest of the details are unknown. Gadd says a new time hole appeared on the third floor of the castle. We haven't even checked the other three that appeared yet, so we shouldn't check this one out yet. It leads to Peach's Castle in the past, and it's heavily guarded. We must get more Cobalt Star shards for now.
The Toadsworths are in the garden again. Her Majesty is crying again. The two of them have formed a ball and roll around. This amuses the princess. Mario wants to learn the move. The Bros. Ball involves hitting [R] to select the move and hitting (A) to form a ball. Then roll around, which is faster than walking. It also allows you to go under low ceilings. The Toadsworths mention that this technique will help them reach the viewing platform on the third floor. They also mention that it can spin things.
On the west side of the castle is a strange device with a gear. Spin the gear with the Bros. Ball and a pipe appears. It goes to the basement of the castle. You'll see a mysterious figure in a red hood in the next area. Before you follow it, have the babies go through the grates of the pipes. Have the bros stand on the cracks in the pipes. Directly under each crack is an item block with a 100-coin coin. The room to the north has more items. Follow the mysterious figure.
To the east, the mysterious figure will go past a grate. Get the 100-coin coins and head west, then north. You'll reach a new area that looks much different from the rest of the pipes. Talk to the figure to hear a familiar voice. "I have boredom... Guests? Now I have... FURY! I say to you WELCOME! Welcome to Fawful's Bean 'n' Badge! In this place beans are like precious treasure milked from a famous cow made of jewels! All who come with beans leave with badges so rare they make mustaches droop with disbelief! What? The story of Fawful? Your words are not beans. I am not wanting them... You are like brainless cats that are too dumb to know they are stupid! You have curiosity... ...But my tales is long, so long it makes babies old and hairy lips grow gray with aging. Do you dare hear?"
If you answer, "Um, OK.", he'll tell you. "Then now you listen! I am here, merchant of badges, only sometimes with fury, but I once had fury at all times. I drizzled rage dressing on the country next door. Rage dressing on a salad of evil! And then the bad men came. Red and green bad men. I had the punishment. Bad punishment with hammers and jumping on my head and the overheat of my ship. I have a little fury even with my remembering... Red! And green! A pair of jumping hammers in red and green who are looking like you! I HAVE FURY! Those brothers of badness! My brain aches at their overalls! I have fury AND headache now! Fawful would be here, reigning over all and laughing at you! ...But no. SO MUCH FURY! Stupid mustaches! Hairs like the dirty tail of a horse in a barn built by a farmer who is crazy! ...I have calm. I am waiting like an elevator. I have the commerce. I run Fawful's Bean 'n' Badge, but... The day comes soon when Fawful rises again, and then no baby's candy has safety! I am counting chickens before they are even eggs, before the chickens are even chickens! I WILL! HAVE! FURY! I LAUGH AT DEFEAT! I FIGHT WITH RAGE! I HURT YOUR FACES! Hooof... Heffff... D-Did I...have insanity? Did I...have evil? I suppress the fury, but sometimes... The fury has me. Red and green puts the fog of rage in my eyes, and my mind goes crazy. P-Please... I will be fine. No worrying for Fawful. We talk of beans."
"Beans and badges... We begin trading!" You can check out his interesting selection, or learn more about beans. "The beans hide in the dirts of this country like dirt-fish who like to eat dirt for dinner. Bean symbols like this are marking all bean spots. You are digging in dirt, right? You are digging under symbols. And you are finding much bean! Bean symbols have sneakiness! When the beans are gone, the symbols flee like babies! You are wanting much beans? Then you are hunting symbols. And digging and popping. There are even places to win beans in games, maybe... If you get many beans, you get many badges at this place, Fawful's Bean 'n' Badge!" His most interesting badge is the Ulti-Free Badge. It costs 90 beans, but it is well worth it. It gives you unlimited Bros. Item, if you have them in your inventory. If you haven't obtained that Bros. Item, you will not have an unlimited supply of them, but once you do, you will. I have 73 beans at this point, so I'm close to getting the badge. When you're done, he says, "I have badges. Such badges. Bring beans! BEANS! Now is the time when you wait! I have a vision... The castle viewing platform... A new path for your finding... A new path...of DOOM!"
There's nothing to the south, and a time hole to the west. We won't be using it just yet. The time hole we need is accessible from the second floor in the tall tower. Hit the ! Block, then roll up the stairs to reach the top before the ! Block at the top of the stairs disappears. You have 25 seconds. This leads to the viewing platform, where you can see the kingdom. Travel through the time hole.

Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga -- Part 16: The Ultimate Battle
It's time to deal with Bowletta once and for all. Once you've made your preparations, go through the Great Door. Approach the throne and Bowletta congratulates them on making it this far. She intends to conquer the Mushroom Kingdom after she takes the Beanbean Kingdom. The battle begins.
Bowletta has a few attacks. She'll place a block over each bro's head, which they must hit 5 times to make it disappear. They must make it disappear quickly so they can dodge her fiery breath. She'll also spit energy balls called Flarets at the bros. Jump over the ones aimed at the bros. Some will remain on the battlefield, which she can use to heal herself. After enough damage, she'll go into her dark form and send colorful stars at the bros. Hit them back at her. When she's taken enough damage (she make skip her dark form entirely if you do enough early on), she'll say "Cursed Mario Bros.! Not again!" A Time Bob-omb set to zero appears and knocks out the bros. Bowletta scolds them for letting their guard down, and inhales them.
The bros wake up with 1 HP each. Cackletta's spirit is in the belly of Bowser and calls them a persistent pair. She intends to defeat them here and now. If your speed stat is high enough, you can move first, allowing you to heal the bros before she attacks. Otherwise, try to survive her arm attacks. She'll either try to flick the bros with her fingers or swing her arms around. Watch her eyes when she swings her arms around so you know where they'll be. Don't jump if her arms are high up. Her hands can summon either electricity or fire. Jump over the circling fire, which changes directions, and hit the electric ball with your hammer back and forth between the bros. Attack her hands before her head. She'll spit out an energy ball a bro will have to juggle with his hammer. Once you make the head disappear, only her core will remain, revealing her heart. It can restore and heal the head and arms. This is her weak point, so target it when it is revealed. It will be covered up after a while and you'll have to destroy her hands and head again. Do not use electricity or fire on her heart. Once you do enough damage to her heart, she'll use a couple more attacks. The spirit of Fawful will appear and shoot energy blasts at the bros, then appear in front of one of them. Hit him with your hammer. She'll also pause briefly to shoot lasers from her eyes. Again, watch her eyes to see if you need to dodge them. You have a brief moment where you can jump. She's almost done for when she shoots out many energy balls of different colors. This is a difficult attack to dodge, but you must hit the red and green energy balls back at her. It will take a while, but you can defeat her. The explosion forces the bros out of Bowser's body.
Bowletta can't believe she's been defeated. Her spirit leaves Bowser's body and floats away. Bowser lies unconscious on the floor. When the bros try to leave, Prince Peasley appears. He's rigged the castle with an explosive device set to blow in three minutes. They must all escape before time's up or it's Game Over. We can't leave the way we came, so go through the curtain in the back. Go south from there and you'll see lots of stairs. Go down the stairs and you'll find a barrel. Use it to hit a switch to the right. The path ahead will take you to the entrance where Blablanadon is. Talk to him and get out of the castle immediately. Bowser wakes up, unaware of his surroundings or what he has been doing. The explosions make the castle drop out of the sky into the ocean. Bowser flies out and hits the screen.
At Beanbean Airport, Queen Bean, Lady Lima, Toadsworth, Princess Peach, and the bros say their farewells. Prince Peasley leaves them with a large present, which trails behind the plane. Bowser appears from the present and starts chewing on the chain. Turns out they didn't want him in the Beanbean Kingdom and decided to give him back. The plane flies over the Beanbean Kingdom as the credits roll. Bowser drops in on his castle. Fireworks appear as the plane lands at the castle. The curtain closes on this adventure, as the Yoshis cheer from Yoshi Theater.
Well, we're done here. I had a great time replaying one of my favorite games and I hope you enjoyed ready about it. I think you can guess what I'm going to play next.

Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga -- Part 15: A Duel of Words
When you're ready, use the portal to leave Ludwig's room. Have Mini Mario go under the grate and hit the switch to raise a platform. Go through the door. Ahead is an area with lots of gates. Send Luigi under the gates, then loop around to the left while still underground. Hit the switch, then use the spring to get out of there and rejoin Mario. Mini Mario should take the same path Luigi did, but he can go farther. Hit the switch and use the spring. The switch opens the door ahead. On the back wall of the next area is a switch. Hit it and have Mini Mario go through the gap towards the front of the room and climb up onto the walls. Be warned that there are Boos on top of the walls. Walk on top of the back wall, then go south, then right. This leads to a 2D platforming challenge resembling an 8-bit Bowser's Castle. Hit the ax past Bowser to drop him, then hit the ! Block to open the door ahead. If you go above the area with the moving platform after you use it to cross the lava, you can get an Ultra Mushroom and Ultra Nut in the blocks up there.
The gate ahead leads to Roy Koopa's room. This room has Simu-Blocks. Hit each set to clear the path ahead. Roy appears, but when you try to reach him, he leaves and a portal appears. Take the portal to the main hallway and go left. When you approach the switch, Roy appears and the battle starts. A Time Bob-omb appears alongside him in battle, telling you how many turns you have until it explodes. If it does, it's Game Over. You have 8 turns to defeat Roy. He sends out shockwaves, like Morton, but they move together. He also spits fireballs and attacks the bros in his shell. It took me three turns. Once you defeat him, a barrel will appear so you can hit the switch. This will propel the barrel to the top level. Break out of the barrel and jump down to reach the blocks.
Go through the door ahead. There are Boos ahead. Defeat them before using the barrel to hit the switch. After hitting the switch, keep the barrel on as you go through the door. You'll need it to help you light the torches. Go past the rollers and hit the switch, then go through the door on the left. You'll have to have to use the Thunderhand twice.
Ahead is Wendy O. Koopa's room. There are three pipes. Use the gate to separate the bros. Position them at the edges of the outer two pipes with hammers ready. Have one bro hit Wendy, then switch to the other bro when she appears from the other pipe. Hit her again and she'll appear in the middle pipe, ready for battle. She is accompanied by a Time Bob-omb as well. You have 8 turns to defeat her. She'll split into four, spit fireballs, and throw rings at the bros. A portal will appear and youll be able to progress.
Activate the orb to make some platforms appear. In the next room, position Luigi in front and have Mario ready with the Firebrand. You'll have thirteen seconds from the time you hit the ! Block to use the Firebrand to run through the walls and hit the other ! Block. In the next area, split up the bros. Have Luigi hit the yellow platforms so Mario can move forward, like in Joke's End. There is a Hoo Bean at the end of Luigi's path. Hit the ! Block to form a bridge joining the paths in the previous area.
The next room belongs to Larry. Send Luigi under the gate. When he's across the lava from Larry, a barrel will drop on him. Larry will pick up a tennis racket and Luigi must use the barrel to volley the fireball so it does not hit the Bob-omb behind him. Once the fireball hits Larry, he'll run away, a bridge will form, and the gate will open. Larry's up ahead. Again you have 8 turns to defeat him. He'll spin in front of the bros and spit fireballs, then volley them with his tennis racket. Once you defeat him, a portal appears and you can move forward.
Ahead is a Save Book. Stand between the spotlights behind the ring in the lava to make Fawful appear from the lava. He says, "I have fury! At last, my entrance with drama! Finally! Now is the time where my true might shines, like many angry sunbeams of rage! St-Standing in the spotlight at such a gala of spectacularity... My nerves are nervous! But... Now that I am thinking.... Cackletta's revival was all thanks to my quite nasty efforts! Which means that all this time, I am Fawful, who is just a toady! Such working, all for others! And THAT means... The true meaning of our battle gives me fear and confusion!! I need no long speech before this battle, which will now be mighty! Snack on my wrath, fink-rats!
He'll start the battle by shooting energy blasts at the bros. Hit them back at him. He'll then enclose himself in his ship. Use a multi-hit attack, such as Chopper Bros, to get him to appear. Otherwise, he'll say, "What a wasting..." When you hit him enough times, he says, "You have annoying persistence! And now you eat this!" The ship will spin around, creating energy balls. Hit as many of them as you can with your hammers. You'll have to jump over the remaining ones. Afterwards, he'll appear from the ship, saying, "Ouch! HOTNESS! It is the overheat!" After a few turns, he'll go back into the ship, which will fire lasers. He may also appear and dive-bomb the bros. When you defeat him, he says, "Agh-agh-agh! Urggh... Unless my mind is crazy, I have somehow managed to lose... This must be... fate... Urrrgh... I must accept the defeating..." He sends out an energy blast at Mario. "I have fury! Hah! Now taste the finale, when carelessness opens the door to a comeback not expected by you! Your lives that I spit on are now but a caricature of a cartoon drawn by a kid who is stupid! You shall all fall and vanish with your precious Beanbean Kingdom as I laugh heartily at you!
Prince Peasley arrives and counters with, "HAH! In the finale of the finale, when negligence begets rashness, the comeback is come-back upon!" Fawful hits him with another energy blast and says, "I have fury! In the last moments of the finale of the finale, when relief leads to negligence that begets rashness... That is when the comeback that faltered comes back and beats your pathetic comback that I scoff at!" Mario hits Fawful into the ground and Luigi smacks him out of the castle. Peasley leaves. Ahead is Bowletta, the final battle. Make sure you're fully prepared and stocked with items. It's going to be a long battle.
