Super Mario 3D World: Crown-Crown -- Champion's Road

This is one of the most difficult levels in the game. There are no powerups or midpoints, so you have to bring all of your powerups with you and start the level over every time you die. Playing with others can help, especially because you can hold more items in reserve. For this level, you'll want to be wearing a Tanooki Suit with a Cat Suit (either Super Bell or Lucky Bell will work) in reserve. Peach and Luigi can be very useful here with their extended jumps.

The Gusty Garden music plays here. You'll start off on crystal blocks. Some of the crystal blocks move and have Octoombas on them. Cross the gaps between the blocks, then go through the clear pipe. This will take you to an area with three Fire Bros. You can ignore them or defeat them. At the top of the stairs with the Fire Bros. are a set of narrow crystal blocks. Stand on one to make a Chargin' Chuck charge at you. Stomp it, ground pound it, or run away. You can run over the crystal blocks without jumping. There are more narrow crystal blocks ahead. Stand on one to make three Chargin' Chucks charge. Run on the set of narrow blocks farther from the wall and jump over the Chargin' Chuck at the end. There is a warp box here.

The warp box takes you to an area with Beat Blocks moving in double time. This is where the Tanooki Suit really comes in handy. To deal with the Beat Blocks, remember to jump normally to a Beat Block of a different color than the one you're standing on, but jump and hover with the Tanooki Suit when jumping to a Beat Block of the same color you're standing on. For the first group of Beat Blocks, I recommend walking onto the first blue set as soon as they appear, jump and hover while moving forward, then land when it comes back. Jump immediate to the pink set, then to the next blue set. Jump and hover to solid ground, or land back on the blue set if you need to. The next set forms a set of stairs, but they do not form sequential steps. Line yourself up on the right side, wait for the blue set to appear, then jump straight ahead and land on the sole pink block on the second set of steps. Immediately jump to the blue set, then the lower blocks of the pink set. Jump from the lower blocks of the pink set and hover over the higher block. Land, then run and jump, then hover to solid ground, ignoring the blue blocks to the side. The final group of Beat Blocks form stairs. In order, it goes: blue, pink, blue, pink, pink, blue, blue. Jump up the first four quickly, then jump and hover over the higher pink block in the set of two. Do the same for the set of two blue Beat Blocks. At the top of the stairs is the first Green Star. Use the clear pipe as a cannon and launch.

You'll land in an area with four fire bars and three Magikoopas. You must defeat all three Magikoopas to make the warp box appear. To make things difficult, each tile of the floor you stand on will start sinking and disappear. It will reappear fairly quickly. When you land, the Magikoopas will fire at you, so jump out of the way to avoid taking damage. Try to defeat the Magikoopas quickly and avoid the fire bars. Warp to the next area.

The next area has spike bars as swinging pendulums and Fuzzies. Past the first spike bar is a Potted Piranha Plant. Jump to it and pick it up. It will make dealing with the Fuzzies easier. If you still have the Tanooki Suit, get a little running start, grab the Potted Piranha Plant, then jump and hover to the next set of pendulums. Stand on the narrow ledge between them, then run into the path of the back pendulum, then run and jump to the area with many Fuzzies. The Potted Piranha Plant will eat them. If all Fuzzies on this platform are defeated, many coins will appear. Next are two more pendulums over moving yellow platforms. Stand on the yellow platforms when they are close and the pendulum is swinging away. Jump, then land on the platforms when they meet in the middle, then jump over the last pendulum towards the warp box. Grab the second Green Star (the Potted Piranha Plant will get it for you if you're still holding onto it). Warp to the next area.

Here's where the Cat Suit comes in handy. It's best if you still have the Tanooki Suit at this point. First, you'll have to spring from a springboard onto the wall in front of you. There are many Spiked Ant Troopers walking down the side walls. After you spring onto the wall, run up it as far as you can go, then wall jump to one side and run up higher. Keep wall jumping and bouncing off ants until you reach the top. Without the Cat Suit, you'll have to wall jump and bounce off ants unaided. Ahead is another springboard. The wall you will spring two has four Piranha Creepers on it. Center yourself, then spring up and run as high as you can. You should be able to run past the third Piranha Creeper. Run over it, then slide down on it to bounce. Continue running up the wall and jump to reach it if you have to. Without the Cat Suit, you'll have to spring, then bounce from Piranha Creeper to Piranha Creeper. At the top is a block of water and many spike blocks. Get into the water block and it will start moving to the right. Swim with it. On the back wall are two colors. Gold areas mark where most of the spike blocks are or where they can move. The white areas mark what is mostly safe. Swim to the right until the water block reaches the end of the wall, then quickly swim up and to the left. You'll have to drop down at points to deal with the maze. At the end is a clear pipe cannon, periodically blocked off by a moving red spike block. When the path is clear, you may want to ground pound in the water while over the pipe so you can reach it before the spike block returns. Launch to the next area.

Aside from where you land, the next part is completely made up of boost pads. The Tanooki Suit is especially useful here. Making your life difficult are the numerous lasers in the area. The first set of them fire square lasers and the second set fire circles. When you start, you'll run forward, left, then forward. You'll then have to jump across the gaps to more boost pads. The Tanooki Suit will allow you to hover and slow down, so you can avoid taking damage from the lasers. The boost pads will initially give you two spaces to move forward on, then one. Once you pass those boost pads, the lasers will fire circles and will be closer together. Run to the left to find the third Green Star and the next challenge. The boost pads are arranged in a square with four lasers. There are five Key Coins to collect: one in the middle and two on each side. They can be very tricky to get. The Tanooki Suit will allow you to slow down and hover over the lasers and line yourself up to collect the Key Coins. If playing alone, I recommend getting the Key Coins on one side first, running back up the middle (towards the screen), then getting the other two on the other side. If playing multiplayer, you can try to have everyone go for a set of Key Coins, have one player collect the Key Coins while the others are in bubbles, who can drop in in case the player collecting Key Coins falls off or dies, or have one person collect the Key Coins will the others stand on the lasers to stop them. This will unlock the warp box in the back. Carefully aim for the warp box.

The warp box will take you to a set of clear pipes. You can relax now: the hard part is over and you don't need powerups. All you need to do is not fall off the level. Enter the clear pipe and it lights up like a neon sign. Follow the path to the right and more of the pipe will light up, revealing the message "THANK YOU!!" There is a warp box at the end.

The warp box takes you to the flagpole. Many friends are gathered here, including Sprixies, Captain Toad, with a few piles of coins, some bunnies and Plessie. Slide down the slide and grab the coins. The stamp is on the second step of the stairs. The top of the flagpole is easy to reach. Congratulations, you're done!

The stamp is of Cat Mario holding a coin.

You may notice that you're missing a few stamps. The last stamps you need can be obtained from completing every level with each character (as in, complete all levels as Mario to get the Mario stamp. The stamps will be each character's portrait from the Character Select menu. To see which levels you completed with which character, go to the map using the (-) button and check the level completion.

Even though I ultimately completed the level by myself, several individuals helped me try to beat it. Thanks to Derek, Tony, John, and Tareq! I really appreciate the help!

And with that, we complete Super Mario 3D World. It was a fun game and those last two levels were especially challenging. I highly recommend this game. Stay tuned to see what I play next!

Super Mario 3D World: Crown-Mystery House -- Mystery House Marathon

The last Mystery House is a long one. You have to collect 30 Green Stars and have ten seconds to make each one appear and collect it. Once you collect the Green Star, the timer stops, so you can take a break if you need to. If you fail to collect one, you'll have to start over. If you find this to be a bit difficult, having more players can make things a little easier.

1. Kill three Koopas to get the first Green Star.
2. Run and jump on the pendulums, then jump for the Green Star. Avoid the spike bar on the last pendulum. If you fall off the last pendulum, you may be able to hop back on and get the Green Star.
3. There are two Brolders and three P-Switches. If you are playing solo, throw the Brolders onto the P-Switches and stand on the last one. If you are playing with others, have them stand on the switches.
4. There's a triple item block on the back wall. It contains a Fire Flower. Light all four torches to make the Green Star appear. You'll have to jump to light the torch in the back left corner.
5. You'll be in a spinning room with Peepas. Throw fireballs to make the Peepas temporarily transparent. Get the Green Star when it's close, on the left side.
6. You're in a room full of crates. The Green Star is in the set of crates in the back right corner. The crate it is in is the lower left corner.
7. There are six Microgoombas and a Goomba in the room. Defeat them all.
8. Throw a baseball down the slope at the Green Star (or hit one down with a fireball, or slide down). Avoid having the baseball hit a Biddybud or it will miss the Green Star.
9. There are four spring enemies, one of which turns into a spring. This one is on the far right. Turn it into a spring, then quickly ground pound it to reach the high platform with the Green Star.
10. There are two Thwomps and a footlight path so you won't fall. Stand on the Thwomp, then wait for it to rise so you can run to the Green Star.
11. This one can be a little tricky. Jump to land in a Kuribo's Ice Skate and start sliding down. Follow the coin trail and avoid the Walleyes. Repeatedly hit (Y) for a speed boost. Try to line up with the Green Star at the end so you slide into the warp box.
12. Grab a Super Bell from the back wall, climb up over the right wall, hit the P-Switch, climb back up the wall and jump over the left wall to get the Green Star. You can split the work with two or more people.
13. Climb up the tower, avoiding the moving brick blocks. The Green Star is at the very top. Before you warp, you may want to hit the glowing spot nearby for another Super Bell.
14. There are Beat Blocks moving at double time forming stairs up to a wall. Try to reach the top Beat Block, then climb up the wall. The glowing spot here also has a Super Bell.
15. Climb up the wall, which will fall away after you clear a chunk of it. Run quickly and grab the Green Star on the rock.
16. There are Fuzzies circling a wheel on the back wall. The Green Star is surrounded on three sides, forming a "U". You can run up the wheel, or spin jump to the Green Star, which is easier.
17. Use the boost pads to chase the bunny. Catch it for the Green Star, then grab the Green Star.
18. Grab a baseball, run and jump from the springboard, then throw the baseball at the P-Switch. The baseball may grab the Green Star for you.
19. You're in a spinning cylinder with Piranha Plants. Run to make the cylinder spin so you can reach the Green Star. Alternatively, if you have the Cat Suit, run up the wall and jump for it.
20. Push two Bullies into the lava. It's a little easier with a Cat Suit.
21. There are giant item blocks that form bridges when you ground pound them. Jump from the top bridge to get the Green Star. Alternatively, with the Cat Suit, run up the wall.
22. There are boost pads at the start of a narrow path. Line yourself up with the center, run and jump across the platforms to get the Green Star. Alternatively, you can run around on the platforms. Avoid the Cat Bullet Bills.
23. There are sleeping Piranha Creepers forming stairs to the Green Star. You have to hit the one at the top to reach it. Bounce on all of the Piranha Creepers or climb the wall with a Cat Suit and bounce on some of them.
24. There are baseballs, two Thwomps, and a bomb. Use the bomb to clear out the lower gray bricks, then use the Game Pad to clear the ! Switches. You can also throw baseballs at the ! Switches.
25. Grab a Potted Piranha Plant and have it eat the Fuzzies. Then stomp both Potted Piranha Plants for the Green Star.
26. Run over the cylinder with the Piranha Plants. The Green Star is on the right side, the side closest to the screen.
27. There's a large spotlight over some gray bricks. Wall jump up between the bricks, then jump for the Green Star. Cat Bullet Bills will appear if you enter the spotlight.
28. There are two Spikes throwing spike bars onto donut lifts. Run, dodge, and weave to make it to solid ground with the Green Star.
29. Boom Boom is here. Hit him once to make the Green Star appear.
30. There are stacks of coins on the path ahead. Coins will rain down. Run to the edge of the path, grab the stamp on the way, and jump off the cloud to reach the Green Star where the Sprixies are gathered. You're done!

The stamp is of a Starman.

Thanks to Ashwin, Derek, John, and Tony for helping me complete this level.

Super Mario 3D World: Flower-12 -- Boss Blitz

It's time to take on the bosses in the Sprixie Kingdom. You'll start out in an area with 6 warp boxes, one of which is locked. You'll have to go through each warp box, defeat the boss, and you'll return here, with a Key Coin in place of the warp box you just went through. From left to right, the bosses are King Ka-Thunk, Pom Pom, two Hisstocrats at the same time, Boss Brolder, and Boom Boom. You'll want to deal with King Ka-Thunk, Pom Pom, and Boom Boom first, in whatever order you desire. Theses are quick boss fights and you won't need power-ups. Time management is key here. Once the battle is over, quickly warp out of there and ignore the coins. After those three, tackle Boss Brolder. This fight may take a little longer. After you beat Boss Brolder, the first Green Star will appear.

At the end, you'll fight two Hisstocrats at once. You'll want to get a Cat Suit and have one in reserve. If you're playing alone, pick either Peach or Luigi. When you stomp on one of the Hisstocrats, their extended jumps may allow you to hit the other one without touching the ground. This will be one of the longer fights, so try to take them out quickly and efficiently. The second Green Star will appear after you win. You'll want at least 100 seconds left after you beat them.

Once you unlock the warp box, it takes you to the last boss fight, Motley Bossblob. If you're still powered up and have at least 100 seconds left at the start of this fight, you should be okay. Grab the Double Cherries after he pounds the ground and chase after him. Once you defeat him, the third Green Star and a pipe appear, leading to a clock and the flagpole.

There are no stamps in World Flower.

Super Mario 3D World: Star-2 -- Super Galaxy

Now they're just teasing us about Super Mario 3D World not being the sequel to Super Mario Galaxy 2.

You'll want to bring a Super Bell into the level. There are rotating platforms we have to deal with here. The blue and pink platforms alternate, so that when one stops, the other starts. There are lots of Octoombas around here, and you must ground pound them to defeat them. They shoot cannonballs. Carefully follow the path ahead and you'll come to a long, straight section of pink rotating platforms. The first Green Star is on the right, over a brick block over some blue platforms. Stand on the brick block to reach it. You may want to kill the nearby Octoombas so they don't destroy the brick block. Up ahead is a Luma and a Galoomba. Around the corner is a long stretch of platforms. Wait at the edge of the platform, then be ready to run once the boost pads appear. You may have to jump at the end. Past that are blue platforms you'll have to jump across. There are coins to guide your jumping. You may want to adjust the camera angle. The warp box is on one side of the platform.

The warp box takes you to the midpoint. Climb the tower to the left of the Octoombas, then climb up the blue platforms when they form a wall to reach the stamp. Up ahead, the blue and pink platforms form a checkerboard pattern. The second Green Star is on a pink platform on the left. Farther ahead, the path splits. The lower blue path leads to the third Green Star. The upper path leads to a warp box. The Observatory is in the background. The warp box takes you to the flag, where Rosalina awaits. Once you reach the flag, she'll appear for the victory dance. You can now play as Rosalina, who has a spin attack.

The stamp is of Rosalina reading to the Lumas.

Super Mario 3D World: Star-1 -- Rainbow Run

After beating Bowser, a new world opens up. The Sprixie Princesses are gathered around a rock in World 1. Approach them and the rock reveals a rocket that takes you to a bonus world, World Star. Lumas float about this world.

The first part of the level involves running around rainbow-colored discs. The first few discs have ring lasers, with mice jumping over them. Over the second disc is an invisible block with a Super Bell. Grab it and go over the rainbow-colored cylinders past the Biddybuds. When you get to a set of brick blocks over a cylinder, stand on the bricks and climb up to an alcove above. The pipe in the alcove takes you to a room with a P-Switch near you and two in the background. Hit the P-Switch to make the Green Star balls appear. Only manipulate one ball at a time and move the flip-switches to make them land on the P-Switches. The balls can go onto either switch, but both switches must be activated to make the first Green Star appear. Ahead are more mice running on cylinders in front of the warp box.

The warp box will take you to the midpoint, where Plessie awaits. Stay on the right side of the water, which isn't fenced off to prevent you from falling off. On the right side is the stamp. At the end, see if you can steer Plessie into all off the Biddybuds. If you clear them all out, you'll get a lot of coins. On the back wall, directly ahead, is an unlit torch. Also on the back wall invisible block with a Fire Flower. Light the torch and the wall drops away, revealing a cloud cannon. It blasts you to an area of tiles to light up. Hit the POW Blocks to clear them faster, as well as use the Mega Mushroom in the invisible block on the lower right. Or use the Touch Screen. Either way, once all of the tiles are lit up, it reveals 8-bit Link. The Legend of Zelda music plays and the second Green Star appears. Grab it and drop down the main level. Up ahead are more rainbow discs. One of them has a Green Ring, which will give you the third Green Star. Cross over more cylinders, swing on the trapeze and go past the Biddybuds to reach the warp box. There are P-Switches leading up the stairs to the flagpole. The last one will rain coins.

The stamp is of the flagpole.

Super Mario 3D World: Bowser- Castle -- The Great Tower of Bowser Land

It's time to finally take on Bowser. You'll need 170 Green Stars to unlock this level. At this point, we have 240. Bowser's tower looms in the distance, with seven rainbow lights at the top. You start near Bowser's wrecked car. You can stand in it, but you can't do much else. Take  the gondola down to the roof of a building. Fireballs will rain down and form pools, making it more difficult to dodge the Fire Bros. Walk up the roof until you see a clear pipe. Go towards the screen and carefully drop down to the first Green Star. There's an invisible triple item block to the right so you can get back up. Take the clear pipe to another rooftop.

There are three Cat Goombas in the area. Grab a Super Bell from the item block nearby, then board the Ferris wheel with the Bullies. Push all of the Bullies off to make the second Green Star appear in the center of the Ferris wheel. Past that is Captain Toad, there to cheer you on. He doesn't have anything for you, so hop into the gondola. The gondola takes you to the base of the tower.

Run towards the tower, and Bowser appears. He has a Super Bell, but it's not for you. He puts it on his neck and turns into Meowser. Instead of challenging you there, he starts climbing the tower. You should do the same. The area starts to automatically scroll. Pick up a Super Bell from the item block and start jumping up the clouds. Be aware of where Meowser is, as he will climb up, drop down, and move around, making clouds temporarily disappear and destroy solid platforms. Along the way, take the clear pipes up higher and keep moving. There's a Green Ring which will give you the third Green Star. Eventually, you'll reach a flat area of the tower. Meowser will land and sit on a POW Block on the back wall. Run to it quickly, as he will breathe walls of fire at you. Hit the POW Block immediately. This will send him flying away. The back wall drops, revealing a clock and a pipe. There's an invisible triple item block if you need another power-up. Go through the pipe and you'll see Meowser climbing up the tower alongside you. He drops out of view and gets a Double Cherry, making two Meowsers  run up the walls. The pipe takes you to the midpoint.

Even at the midpoint, the level is still scrolling. Go past the Cat Goombas and launch using the springboard. You'll have to start ascending this part of the tower, either by climbing or solely platforming. There are solid platforms and clouds here. Some clouds are invisible. Do not stand in front of cracked parts of the wall, as a Meowser will appear shortly and attack. Towards the top are trapezes that will get you to another flat area of the tower. Run up the stairs as quickly as you can, but be careful, as Meoswers will appear from the walls and the camera is still scrolling automatically, even when you go around a corner. At the very top, we see the source of the lights: Meowser has the jar with the Sprixie Princesses. He's standing atop a giant POW Block. Hit it four times, dodging the flames of the other Meowsers surrounding the tower. Meowser will fly off, releasing the Sprixie Princesses to a fanfare. A Bowser-shaped firework appears in the sky. The Sprixie Princesses are freed. A pipe appears.

The pipe takes you to a peaceful area in the sky. Over the bell tree is the stamp. The Sprixie Princesses are by the flag, saying "Hey!". Once you hit the flagpole, they'll dance in the order that you rescued them. Roll credits!

Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Toad will be in cat suits and go through a clear pipe, going past all of the characters they met, including Plessie, Boom Boom, and Pom Pom. The Observatory appears in the background. At the end of the credits, the pipe takes them to the Mushroom Kingdom. Fireworks appear over the castle. We get some messages. The best times for completing courses will be displayed and fast Ghost Mii Characters will come and visit courses. Total lives lost will be displayed on the file, along with a star.

The stamp is of Meowser. In World 1, the Sprixie Princesses are gathered around a rock.

Super Mario 3D World: Bowser-B -- Hisstocrat Returns

To the right of the stairs in an invisible block with a Super Bell. Take the gondola to the arena. Hisstocrat is a different color and the fireballs that rain down remain in pools for a while. Climb up the snakes and stomp Hisstocrat's head three times to make coins and the Green Star appear. The pipe leads to the flag. You need to complete Bowser-A to continue.

Super Mario 3D World: Bowser- Mystery House -- Mystery House Claw Climb

There are 10 Green Stars in this level. Grab a Super Bell and start climbing.

Climb up the wall for the first Green Star. There are Super Bells here. In the second area, the Green Star is above you. Run under the low ledge, climb up the wall, and run to the left. In the third area, quickly climb up the beep block wall. In the fourth area, run across the lava using the bridge, then run up the back wall. The fifth area is the same as the first, but the Green Star is at the top. The sixth area is the same as the second, with bricks to break. The seventh is the same as the third, but the beep blocks are split into groups of two instead of four. The eighth is the same as the fourth, but the Green Star is on the back wall, over the lava. The ninth area is the same as the sixth, but with POW Blocks in the bricks. The tenth area involves running up a tall stack of blocks. The blocks will separate and fall away. The Green Star is at the top.

Super Mario 3D World: Bowser-5 -- Deepwater Dungeon

This level takes place largely underwater, where the water level rises and falls. There are more Madpoles that only stay on the surface, so drop down to the bottom to avoid them. Swim to the right and up the narrow channel. Wall jump up if the water level falls before you reach the alcove. From there, a moving block of water will allow you to swim higher. The water block will reach another, larger water block. Swim up, past the spikes, and you'll find the stamp in the upper left corner. Drop down to the lower right corner to get a Super Bell. Swim up the narrow channel above, or wall jump. At the top, climb up and to the left for the hidden first Green Star.

Go to the right for the midpoint and Plessie. It's a short rice across the water with some Madpoles to run into. At the end, climb up the wall to find the second Green Star on some donut lifts. Cross the donut lifts below and swim up to the water's surface, avoiding the moving spike blocks. Cross the donut lifts and swim in the water block. Transfer to a water block above. Transfer to one below to reach a pipe. Climb up above the pipe to find a cloud cannon. Run across the clouds and jump on the springboards. Dive past the Biddybuds and use the springboard to reach the third Green Star. There's a water block in front of the flag.

The stamp is of a Madpole.

Super Mario 3D World: Bowser-1 -- Spiky Spike Bridge

When Bowser took all of the Sprixie Princesses at once, he created a clear pipe to his own world, World Bowser. It's a large amusement park.

In this level, it's rainy and dark. Most of the path is covered in spikes. Sometimes, the spikes appear in a sequence instead of all at once. There are parts of the level not covered in spikes. One area has a Para Dry Bones and a Super Bell. Cross the spikes ahead to a warp box. Up ahead are long stretches of spikes. In one corner is a Fire Bro. Go left of the Fire Bro and climb up the wall for the first Green Star. Past the Fire Bro are moving bridges with spikes. Use the POW Blocks to get rid of the Para Dry Bones for a short time. The warp box ahead leads to the midpoint.

Past the midpoint is a warp box that leads to an area with more spikes. Go to the left for the stamp. Return, jumping over the spikes. In the middle is another Fire Bro. Climb up the tower for a Mystery Box. In the Mystery Box, climb the wall and drop down to the P-Switch. This makes the second Green Star appear. Climb back up the wall and jump over the right wall to get the Green Star. At the end of the long stretch of spikes is a warp box. This will take you to an area with many Para Dry Bones. Grab the Starman in the item box to get rid of them. To the left is the third Green Star on some donut lifts. Wait until the floating platform with spikes is approaching and close to get the Green Star, then jump onto the platform. Dodge the sequential spikes, then transfer to another platform with spikes. This one will take you to a warp box to the flagpole. There are spikes on the stairs.

The stamp is of a Para Dry Bones.

Super Mario 3D World: Castle-Castle -- Bowser's Lavalake Keep

It's time to finally take on Bowser! You'll need 130 Green Stars to unlock the level. To get all of the items, I recommend bringing in a Cat Suit. There are Boomerang Bros and Podoboos here. Stomp the Boomerang Bro near the first Green Star for a Boomerang Flower. You'll need to switch between the two to get the Green Stars and stamp. The first Green Star is low over the lava between two walls. Slide down, then wall jump or climb to safety. To the right is a soccer bomb blaster and some gray bricks. Behind the blaster is a grate with the second Green Star on top. Climb using the Cat Suit to get it. Go back down and use a soccer bomb to destroy the gray bricks. Wall jump up or climb in the area where the gray bricks were for the stamp. Step on the P-Switch at the bottom to lower the grate so you can walk on it. Up ahead are square spike bars and Fire Bros. It's easy to get rid of them with the boomerang. Up ahead are more soccer bomb blasters and the midpoint.

There's a long, narrow pathway ahead where many Podoboos will appear. Run quickly to avoid being burned. The third Green Star is over the lava. Use the boomerang to get it. If you need an extra powerup, there's a Boomerang Flower past the second set of Podoboos, in an invisible block over a metal plate. Keep the Cat Suit if you can. Up ahead are the square spike bars and Hammer Bros. Defeat the Hammer Bros. to make a path appear to the warp box.

The warp box leads to some stairs. At the top of the stairs, Bowser appears in his car again. It's the same battle as before, with spikes and lava pillars. At points, the road will split so there is no middle part of the road. Bowser also breathes fire more often. Switch to the Cat Suit to make the soccer bombs do more damage to Bowser's car. Once he is defeated, the bridge falls and Bowser falls into the lava. A fanfare plays and the warp box to the flagpole appears.

The red Sprixie Princess is trapped at the flagpole with the other six flying around her. Break the jar and all of them dance. Bowser reappears, grabs them, and stuffs them into one large jar. He leaves, the jar smashes, and a beam of light appears from below. Outside the castle is a sparkling clear pipe.

The stamp is of Boomerang Mario.

Super Mario 3D World: Castle-5 -- Trick Trap Tower

You'll want to bring a fast character into this level. The first part of the level involves climbing a tower. The tower will rotate as you walk around it. Go past the Thwomps and get a Super Bell. Climb up the wall and go left for the first Green Star. Climb above the Green Star and you'll find the Stamp above it on a cloud. Keep climbing up the tower and you'll find three Magikoopas on the roof. Defeat all three for the second Green Star. The gondola on the roof will take you to the midpoint.

There's a locked warp box nearby. Go into the tower ahead with the Fizzlits. Defeat all of them and collect the Key Coins in the tower. Near the base of the tower are some brick blocks near the floor. Break them by rolling to get the third Green Star. The last Key Coin is at the very top of the tower and triggers a sparking fog to appear. It will fill the tower from the top down and means instant death if you touch it. Run out of the tower as fast as you can. Take the warp box to the flagpole.

The stamp is of a Magikoopa.

Super Mario 3D World: 6-4 -- Deep Jungle Drift

It's time for a river raft ride on purple water. If you happen to get stuck and your raft leaves without you, just wait for the next one. There are several grates you can climb as a cat, and the Super Bell is in this level. You'll have to complete this level twice to collect everything. Climb up onto the fences and stay up there. You'll find Fire Piranhas up here. There are some trapezes up here. Use two of them to reach the stamp. After a while, the fences will end, so dive to the midpoint. You'll find some Creeper Piranhas here, along with a Green Ring. Collect the coins for the second Green Star, then quickly get back on the raft or wait for the next one. Ahead is a waterfall.

When going down the waterfall, stand in the middle of the raft to collect the coins. At the end of the ride is a warp box. Quickly climb the wall above the warp box to reach the third Green Star, then quickly go through the pipe before the raft disappears under the wall. The warp box leads to the flag.

The first Green Star is near the stamp, but closer to the water. While riding the raft, you'll come across bees and a Red Coin Ring. Past the Creeper Piranha is a clear pipe with the first Green Star. Time your entry into the pipe because it lets out directly over the water. Make sure the raft will be at the other end of the pipe when you will.

The stamp is of Cat Toad napping.

Super Mario 3D World: 5- Castle -- King Ka-Thunk's Castle

In this castle, there are many spikes bars formed into squares. They'll flip around in a set path. Be careful when jumping over or through them. Grab a Super Bell and deal with the Chargin' Chucks ahead. There are some platforms that swing back and forth. Trigger the Green Ring and collect the Green Coins on these platforms for the first Green Star. Up ahead is a warp box that takes you tot he midpoint.

Here the square spike bars roll on their sides from the walls. Avoid a few of them by climbing the wall, which is where the stamp is. Drop back down because one of the later square spike bars has the second Green Star. If it rolls off the edge, wait a little while and it will come back. There's a Chargin' Chuck in the area. Ahead, the square spike bars will fall towards you, on top of the springboards. Jump carefully. At the end is a warp box. Before you go through it, climb up the wall to find an alcove with the third Green Star.

The warp box takes you to King Ka-Thunk, a square enemy that moves around using a square spike bar. He'll try to hit you by falling over or running into you with the spikes. When he falls face first, stomp the X on his back. After a hit, he'll make two corners of the arena disappear. After the second hit, he'll make the other two disappear. Three hits will defeat him. The warp box to the flag appears. Free the purple Sprixie Princess. She'll use a wrench to build a clear pipe to World 6.

Super Mario 3D World: 5-4 -- Sprawling Savanna

There's a lot of exploration to do in this level. Launch from the clear pipe cannon to an area with ants. One of them has a Super Bell. If you climb up the wall, you'll find coins. To the right are pipes with an infinite amount of ants. There's a back wall behind a pipe. Before you go through the pipe, hit the invisible block on the wall so you can reach the alcove in the wall. The first Green Star is here. The clear pipe is a cannon that will launch you to another cannon. In the gap are a couple of moving Fuzzies, so time your launch. There are more Fuzzies between the second clear pipe cannon and the third. At the top is a rotating platform with pipes and more infinite ants. Use the platform to cross to the other side. There's a coin block and a clear pipe cannon that launches you to the midpoint.

The midpoint is a sprawling area with many things to check out. Most of the things are coins and clocks. The glowing hills contain coins, as well as the giant bunny. Go ahead where the shrubs are and you'll see some bunnies. One will have the green glow of the Green Star. Chase it down for the second Green Star. To the right is an endless stream of ants walking into a hole. Follow them into the hole to find a giant ant walking on the ceiling with the stamp. Go to the back wall and up the pipe cannon. You'll find a ring of Fuzzies with a Starman. Grab the Starman and hit all of the Fuzzies ahead of you for 1-ups. At the top are two rotating platforms with ants and a green ring for the third Green Star. The flagpole is next to the second rotating platform.

Super Mario 3D World: 4- Castle -- Lava Rock Lair

You need 50 Green Stars to unlock this level. The castle is filled with lava and Brolders. You can pick up the Brolders and throw them around. Throw one on the P-Switch to lower a bridge to the first Green Star. Cross the gaps with the Podoboos and you'll see a Red Coin Ring. The Red Coins will appear over or between brick blocks. To reach the highest ones, throw a Brolder onto the brick blocks to collect them. This will give you a Super Bell. Try to keep it. Take the pipe under the lava with the Podoboos and you'll come out near a Mystery Box. The Mystery Box has three P-Switches and two Brolders. You have 10 seconds to put a Brolder on two of the P-Switches, stand on the third, and collect the Green Star. This may take a while unless multiple people are playing.

Just past the Mystery Box is a tall wall. As a cat, you can climb up the left wall for the stamp. Ahead are some Goomba stacks and Brolders appearing out of the ground. One Goomba stack has a Super Bell. The third Green Star is on the left side, over the lava. Toss a Brolder to get it. At the back is an invisible block with a Super Mushroom and a pipe.

The pipe leads to the battle arena, which is surrounded by lava. Walk to the center and a crystal Brolder called Boss Brolder will appear, with three normal Brolders. Pick up a Brolder and toss it into Boss Brolder. After a hit, Boss Brolder will roll around, chasing you. Hit Boss Brolder three times to win. A warp box to the flagpole will appear. Free the orange Sprixie Princess and she'll use a pipe to build you a clear pipe to World 5.

Super Mario 3D World: 4-5 -- Spike's Lost City

The Spikes in these ruins throw spiked bars. You can get the Super Bell here and climb up the walls, so you can better avoid the Spikes. Go up the slope with the Spikes, then go left for the stamp. To the right is a pipe. There are ! switches to clear with many Spikes above the switches. Use the Game Pad to clear the switches safely and get ride of the Spikes. This will make the first Green Star appear. Go past the Goombas and you'll reach the midpoint, which is in front of some pendulums with spike bars rolling on them. Go past the pendulums and run up the long slope. You can get Red Coins here. There are spike bars, some of them long, rolling down the slope. Try to keep the Super Bell as you make your way to the top. There are three Spikes at the top. At the top, climb up the wall to the left for the second Green Star.

Drop back down and you'll find moving platforms with spike bars. The third Green Star is over a platform to the left. Be sure to adjust your camera angles to make jumping easier. After a few more platforms, you'll reach solid ground. You'll have to run up another slope with a Spike at the top, which is in front of the flagpole.

The stamp is of a Spike holding a spike bar.

Super Mario 3D World: 4-1 -- Ant Trooper Hill

World 4 is more of a mountainous, rocky area. Here, ants march all over the place. Some of them have spike caps. Get the Super Bell and you can defeat the ants by clawing them. Otherwise, you can bounce on top of them. Go to the back of the area and behind the wall to find more ants. The ants walk all over the platforms. Above the platform with several ants is the stamp. Approach the platform from the right and bounce on the ants to reach the stamp. Just outside the cave is a wall. Climb up it for the first Green Star. Go back to the cave and you'll find an invisible block with a Starman, making it easier to cross the narrow platform crawling with ants wearing spike caps.

On the other side are giant ants. You can't kill them, so stand on top of them and bounce. They will allow you to safely cross the spikes. Bounce off the giant ants to reach a pipe. It takes you to the second Green Star on the wall with many ants. Either climb up the wall or bounce off the ants to get it. Return to the main level and bounce on a giant ant. It will take you to the third Green Star. Bounce to get it. The giant ant will take you to the pipe, or you can drop down for some coins. The pipe will take you to the pipe to the flag.

The stamp is of an ant.

Super Mario 3D World: 3-B -- A Banquet with Hisstocrat

The pipe the Sprixie Princess created doesn't lead to World 4. It leads to a small patch of land. A circus tent with Bowser's seal drops down and the pipe to World 4 is blocked off. There are circus lights all over. Go to right of the gondola for an item block with a Super Bell. The gondola takes you down to the arena, then disappears.

Walk towards the center and Hisstocrat appears. He's a snake wearing a cape and crown. Rocks will rain down from the sky. Dodge them, then more snakes will come out of the ground. They have plates on their heads to stand on, some of which have Super Bells. Climb up the snakes to reach Hisstocrat and land on his head for a hit. He'll go back in the ground and it will start raining rocks again. After two hits, some snakes will not have plates on their heads and will hurt you if you try to stand on them. Others will have cracked plates which will break when you jump off them. The snakes will hurt you after the plate shatters. Defeat Hisstocrat with the third hit and the Green Star will appear. The pipe will take you to the flagpole.

After you beat the level, the tent will tilt to one side and the pipe will no longer be blocked. Head to World 4.
