Jolly Roger Bay - Red Coins on the Ship Afloat

N64
It's time to get some more Red Coins and a 100 Coin Star. There are just enough coins to get 100, so collect every one you can. Four of the Red Coins are in clams at the bottom of the bay, one of which is in deep water. Two are near the Bob-omb buddy and one is near the drop-off. There are a few coin rings in the water. There is also a Blue Coin Switch in the cave to add to your coin total. Another Red Coin is on the stone pillar near the Bob-omb Buddy. The last three coins are on the ship, one near the bow and two at the stern. As the boat rocks in the water, the coins may be out of reach. There is also a sliding crate on board with the skull and crossbones, which means it is poisonous. We didn't touch it, but it does cause damage. After getting the 6th Red Coin, the 100 Coin Star appeared.
Star Get #20, 100 Coins, 7 Lives
After getting the last two Red Coins, the Star appeared at the stern of the ship, because there is no blue Star to mark where it will appear.
Star Get #21, 104 Coins, 9 Lives

Nintendo DS
We're also going to get 100 Coins here. We get the Blue Coins from the Blue Coin Switch using the shell in the bricks and take a hit from a Goomba. The Red Coins are in the same location as the N64. Getting 100 Coins is much easier due to the Blue Coin Switch on the beach. I struggled to find enough in the N64 version, but here, I don't even have to go into the cave.
Star Get #23, 100 Coins, 4 Lives
I get the Red Coins on the Ship last. There is no blue Star to mark where the Power Star will show up, so it appears at the stern of the ship.
Star Get #24, 106 Coins, 6 Lives
The next Star is Behind Chomp's Gate.
